  1. Did any older readers have a flyaway ball with team names on in the 70s? Of course you did.

I’ve been searching the web for any info, I don’t even want to buy one just a photo would do.

I’m picturing a classic black and white hexagons/pentagons ball in top quality plastic, with a Scottish team name printed in each white space and some kind of made up logo on the top.

Any leads? Does any lucky person still have one tucked away? I searched for at least 10 minutes with no luck, just loads of photos of the more recent tele ball, and the classic Wembley stinger 😊

Could Dalbeattie chose to be relegated to the West of Scotland Juniors if they are in place for next season?

Basically if you are pyoor junior with no hint of backsliding treachery about you, you will be welcomed back to the fold. Otherwise it’s the upper Tweeddale C division reserves....

Find it bizarre to see west junior fans being smug about a move which sees the west region given half the opportunity to progress than clubs in the east through the 4 way play off.

That's the difference though. The West Region isn't running scared, like the EOSFL is.

    *Yawn*

    This. A million times this.

Conference C gets the plumb draw there, games on the Saturday and at home to Bonnyrigg. Conference A gets the worst, running straight into the play-offs, away at Bonnyrigg and leaving the other two knowing what they need on the last day.

Desperately hoping to see my team in it, but if it doesn't happen then the EOS Premier will be a cracking league next season anyway.

Bonnyrigg are nothing to worry about. All done and dusted by the end of April.

Corner doesn’t see any problem with this post.

If you mean "not owning their grounds, they are in no position to be choosers about the kind of league they drop into", then I disagree - for me, it doesn't matter who owns it, it matters that you have reliable access to it, hence my San Siro remark.

If you didn't mean that, then I really don't see your intention.

Can you tell me the size of the SFA fund available for tier 5 and below?

This, aka the cake slicing thing is an  interesting point. I suspect no-one on here knows. You could be right in what you imply. It could also be that to the SFA, the sums involved are pretty trivial, and expanding the cake would scarcely register on the balance sheet. We’ll certainly see in due course.
