Good point. People obviously can't be trusted to pay 5p per bag, so there are none there.
You need to find someone to bring you bags, meaning that self-service is now less handy than going to a manned till.

The US military still uses systems which use floppy disks.

A few years ago I was in America with my american football team at the time. We visited a middle school, and some of the questions the kids asked were outrageous:Saw a couple of American tourists take a picture of the Apple store in Buchanan St yesterday. Not even the building , just the door bit. Are they surprised that Scotland has one of these* ?

Disgraceful! Although to be fair, it's a lot easier to post on this thread than it is to write a letter of complaint to Oracle.
Mental now to think back at how useful teletext was. Sitting for ages, staring at the screen as it scrolled through the pages, to find the result of a pitch inspection, only to find the dreaded red "P-P" in place of the yellow "v"
