  1. Christian probably left because the money being paid by WWE will be vastly greater than TNA's. If TNA's wagebill grows then people in his situation will deviate to TNA. The key to this "battle" is that WWE caters very heavily to kids. As kids, like I have done, watched WWE but as they grow up want something else. I think TNA provides that extra something. Scratch that, Christian will have left because of that reason.
  2. The Distillers - Sing, Sing Death House
  3. That's harsh. TNA are growing all the time. As TNA grows, so will their pull in terms of "superstars". People like Christian will rather be in the Heavyweight section of TNA than the Below Intercontinental section of WWE. As long as they keep good wrestlers like AJ Styles and Jay Lethal then they will continue to close the gap on WWE. Edit: Forgot to say that they must have plans for him, he hasn't changed much since his debut in WWE all those year ago. They wouldn't bring him back if they didn't see some kind of future for him. I wouldn't like to think they will put him in the Rey Mysterio role, that gets boring very quickly.
  4. Although his mic skills are shit, Kaval is a great wrestler. He worked well in TNA because of the X-division and their lack of mic time. I only remember hearing his voice a limited amount of times before he was on Nxt. I still have no doubt that he would be a competent wrestler in the Intercontinental Title or US Championship section of the roster. Or if they decided, which they should, to bring back the Cruiserweight Division.
  5. I don't see why McGillicutty go no time in that match. It felt like it was 3 faces vs 3 heels but I wouldn't have put O'Neil on the heels, the faces were fine. Cottonwood gave himself a heel attitude in the match, some of his moves were accompanied by the look of a crazy, disturbed man which will be his gimmick if he somehow gets a contract. My Nxt Poll would've been: 1. Kaval 2. Michael McGillicutty 3. Husky Harris 4. Alex Riley I'm not going any lower since I don't care for anyone else.
  6. You would think that but what other reason is there for Barratt's expiring? You wouldn't let someone win NXT then dump them.
  7. All three of them applied at roughly the same time, I can only assume that Seamus notified WWE about it and they took action. At a recent Indie match, there were chants of "Please don't go to TNA" at Danielson's match
  8. Impact : Drew McIntyre AND Wade Barratt's visas have run out. Hence the latters absense from Raw last night.
  9. Now? Jericho isn't as good as he was when he was in ECW or when he first came to the WWF/E
  10. Cheers, should be able to catch the half eleven train. But good to know there's a safety net. Doesn't matter when I get back, taxi is only six quid for me from town.
  11. Does anyone know what time the last train usually is from Edinburgh back to Glasgow? I ask because Less Than Jake are playing the Picture House and I was wondering if getting the train is a possibility or if I need to convince my mate to drive. It is in November so it's not an urgent issue.
  12. Good, he's a good wrestler. To pull out a truely great match outta Jericho is no mean feat. Got RAW downloaded, I stopped watching it after the second set of adverts. To have adverts separated by the Usos attack thing is ridiculous. Well I assume it was the same here, I was watching an American stream. My review will be forthcoming, so you all have that to look forward to
  13. Not got the tickets yet but hopefully going to see Alice In Chains, Bad Religion then Less Than Jake. 3 bands who I love but have not been able to see as of yet.
  14. Also SD, tapes on Tuesday doesn't it? Was RAW on at 2am last week? I thought it was 1
  15. Rob Zombie, the guest host for RAW tonight, is "Planning some big crazy s--t for RAW this monday! Dig it!"
  16. I'm not expecting him to, he can use other words to the same effect. Classic is one that comes to mind.
  17. "VINTAGE JOHN CENA! THATS VINTAGE JOHN CENA!!!" Yeah, vintage or predictable?
  18. I think the writers of Lost knew what they were doing.
  19. Forgot to say, every week on impact, I'm going to count the amount of times Hulk Hogan says the word "brother". The Brother Count stands at six.
  20. Alice In Chains, 02 Academy, 2nd of August. 23.50. Pretty much there.
  21. Harris is alright, if he decides to go heel, which seems likely after this episode then Cody Rhodes' mentorship(is that a word) could prove handy. Cottonwood just seems a bit like Abyss for me. Big tall guy who has a "weird" persona going. Then again, it's just like Kane aswell. If they go through with the NXT Money In The Bank match then I would feel disappointed if either Kaval or McGillicutty didn't win the contract. It occured to me recently that they didn't have the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary.
  22. Great episode of NXT, another great match from KAval and Michael McGillicutty, who look like the two best in that bunch, not surprising really.
  23. They do seem to just run in on the main events and beat up people. It's as predictable as Kane running in on the SD's main events.
