Being honest with the rain we've had and what is still to come I would imagine there will be a lot of games off this weekend. Hope I'm wrong,Saturdays are shit without the juniors

What's the park looking like for Saturday Glensmad?

Was impressed with benburb yesterday. No real superstars in the team but a good unit from front to back. Didn't see the opening goals but heard that defensive mistakes cost us. Have a lot of time for the bens and can honestly say the guys behind the scenes deserve all the plaudits the club are getting just now. Long may it continue.
as for us,we have a hard task of glenccairn away this Saturday. New management couldn't have picked a harder two games to break themselves in. Hopefully an upset on the cards with a few players back from injury/suspension

The team sitting top of the pile at the moment are paying way below the figures that are getting banded around on here tonight. So do we put that down to a good manager who has an eye for a player who isn't just interested in his money, win or lose!! Cause they are doing well whatever it is

Pitch was fine, you were crap.
This reply made me lol.

Fair assessment combine. Makers of our own downfall. How we can go from unbeaten in 6/7 games at the start of the season to where we are just now,not able to hold a 2 goal advantage in games,is terrible . Need to get back to basics. Some big games ahead in the next few weeks

Not many clubs in our league have social clubs tbh and those that do will probably tell you that they don't get much money from them. Sponsorship is the biggest thing. If you can find one or two backers to invest in the committees vision for the club you are doing well.
One thing about this league is no game is a given and I think anyone could take points off anyone else on the day, including the teams at the top who are doing well and the bottom who are still looking for points

I dont think there was any ill-feeling. Thats fitba. Ref let a few go early, then hemmed himself into a corner. I really dont think he had an option with the 2 reds. Could argueably have sent our goalie, and should certainly have sent the Neilston no 3
Surely if the challenge by our number 3 was that bad the linesman would have called it? Or are we paying these guys just to do a committee mans job with a uniform on? I was over the other side so can't honestly comment on how bad it was. I think when the reaction from the opposing bench is the way it was the referee had to take some action but being honest the two of them (ref and linesman) probably never seen it

Poor poor show. It's junior fitba ffs. No place for it

All about opinions Combine. The tackle was reckless for me. The LB tackle on the Rossvale 11 2nd half infront of the Vale dugout was horrendous and was only given a Yellow. Neilston fans round me were staggered when it was only a Yellow. To be fair to Neilston they dug in well, Big Marc in nets was more than decent.
What about your goalkeeper clearing out our striker when he was through on goal? The neilston fans around you were staggered that he was only given a yellow...I was one of them. All in all the referee lost control early doors of what was a good hard fought game. Handshakes at the end and your team coming back for hospitality shows there was no ill feeling, even with the amount of cards flashed by a terrible referee. Good point for us considering playing majority of game with 10 then 9 men. All the best for the rest of the season

Saturday I have no idea what to expect as I have never saw Dalry.
Results for them suggest a tough game which I suspect it will be .
Cup draw saw us land local rivals and a traditional Derby match away to Glasgow Perthshire at a ground with the smallest pitch I have saw in the junior game.
Again another tough draw but certainly one that is winnable. We played Dalry at brig o lea a couple of weeks back and although they won the game I wouldn't say they were a great team. What they do have is 2 old heads in mcglauchlin in defence and cashmore up front. Not got the legs they once had but the head is still working lol. Brought a good support to the brig which surprised me with it being a Wednesday night. All the best

Good result for the farmers boys today coming from a goal down to beat Girvan. Never an easy place to go, but the boys dug in and got the result. It's only one game though, and with some of the results elsewhere in this league,I won't read too much into it. Shaping up to be a cracking season. All the best to all involved
just to add it was great getting back in amongst the Ayrshire teams. Looking forward to many more trips down the coast this season
