    Just buy another ticket FFS!

Buggering about with switching seats and what not, will be a pain in the arse for the staff and our systems aren’t designed to cope with exceptional circumstances like this.

i swear we must have the most deadbeat fans in Scotland, folk that cannot afford a tenner a month for fss and folk that won’t buy a main stand ticket to sit in the main stand. It’s nuts!

Always found the staff very accommodating and happy to help.

You sir, are a prize fud…..

Think as a one off the club will probably accommodate but can see why they’d say no. It would mean you could buy a cheaper KM stand season ticket and just exchange it for a main stand ticket every game

Pretty sure they will charge the difference in ticket price which will only be a few quid…

My mate left it too late to buy his ticket next to me in the KM and he's now had to buy one in the main stand. Does anyone know if it's possible for me to use my season ticket to sit there instead for this match on Saturday?

I’m in the main stand but regularly switch to KM7 if I’m bringing anyone along with me. The club just makes your seat available and gives you a ticket for the KM7 in return. I’d be surprised if that doesn’t work the other way round so you should be fine. The only issue may be if the seat next to your mates is still available……

  4. I’d ban grass pitches from the SPFL as they are dangerous, with often bumpy and slippy surfaces that regularly cut up in winter and likely cause more injuries than a good plastic pitch. Also many are poorly maintained in the lower divisions.

Apart from anything else we are a northern hemisphere country with poor weather in winter that causes cancellations, inconveniences travelling supporters and forces midweek games that are usually more poorly attended. Usually due to waterlogged surfaces.

Plastic pitches also allow smaller clubs to train on their home surfaces or rent out their ground therefore making them more cost effective in the long term.

I’m also fed up with the same mistruths being laid out time and time again by the same bandwagon jumpers that think we should only play on grass. Buffoons the lot of them…..😀

Initial thought it would be good.

i kick started brain and then thought, nope. Refs and var are under enough strain/abuse without adding another unknown ingredient to the game.

The card system ain't broken, don't break it

If you think VAR stops the game too much just imagine they will now be reviewing not just Red cards but Blue cards for lesser offences and much of the time there won’t be 22 players on the park.
It’s becoming more like US football every year nowadays….

we own the club so we are all accountable to each other, i see it as a pyramid with the board at the top of the triangle who we have appointed to run the club with the layers below being the FSS, the patrons, the shareholders and so on. support and constructive criticism is essential. what i don't agree with is that posting here is of any relevance or importance, we have enough routes now to influence and even control the direction of our club for our voices to be heard so if you're venting here and doing f*ck all in any of the layers your opinion isn't important.

Totally disagree with your last point!
Fans, whether shareholders or not, are still stakeholders, and they view is still important. Not everyone has the time to actively participate in the clubs running but they may still have ideas or concerns that should be, at very least, considered. I’m sure a lot of things discussed on here are picked up by the club and acted upon….

I have seen this argument being trotted out before and don’t agree with it. The vast majority of the fanbase see us making huge strides forward and are delighted to see it. They will be critical when it is justified eg Poor performance at Bonnyrigg, poor selection at EC. There is an element who only really appear when we lose or when there is an issue where they can have a pop. They rarely post when we win and are looking for every little angle to have a go. They have very short memories or have decided to ignore the past clusterfuck that we gradually became as a club for about 15 years. The reason for that they can only explain.
I have no issues what so ever with people being critical when it is justified but when we are doing well at least seem like you are pleased the club is doing well.
Only my opinion but I believe there is a small element within the supporter base that would love to see the new fan ownership model and board fail.

Unfortunately BPM, if you want to stamp out negative viewpoints that’s hardly democratic.

Of course, many will only express a view if it’s negative. That’s usually when people express their frustration. And I agree that there are some with agendas at play. There are some that may even accuse you of the same (not my view) if you are trying to deter negativity.

Irrespective of view, we need a true picture, good and bad of what’s going on and what posters really think.

Apologies, but I disagree with your view here although I sympathise with those doing sterling work behind the scenes that probably feel it’s a thankless task much of the time…..

  8. I want to hear both positive and negative viewpoints on this thread in order that I can make up my own mind. The one thing that I think prevails on here is that there are quite a number on here with friends associated with the club that now appear to think that everything is immune to criticism. My personal view is that if we are going to attack everyone who expresses a negative viewpoint we will end up with a delusional view that everything is perfect behind the scenes.

I agree with the general view that we are in a much better place both on the playing field and behind the scenes but let’s allow free expression of views amongst ourselves without having a go at everyone that we don’t agree with….

So in the space of a week, McCann isn’t good enough for the Championship if we get promoted because he’s short and we are fucked if we go up because we had an off night against TNS.

    Give me strength.

Re what I said re the Championship. I think we’d survive the Championship but not sure I think we would be pushing for promotion. And is not just the TNS game it’s the performance in a few games for which we seem to think there’s mitigating circumstances that wholly explain the poor results when really I think most would still have expected us to win with the quality we thought we had on the bench for example…..

But the Dundee Utd, Ayr, Partick and QP games showed this squad can also compete with them. We don’t know what the squad will look like if we go up, but I’d still hope it would be largely be what we have now, with a few additions to bolster.

Yes I think the first game against DU was similar to the TNS game. And I think we had a really good spell against Dundee U in the second game when they simply went to pieces. I actually thought the Partick game was our best performance of the four games you mentioned. I’m not sure Ayr or QP were good examples of well organised sides at the top end of the Championship so I’m not sure I’d include those as examples.

I do think we are a bit short on the quality needed to push on if we get up next season now. More than I thought a few weeks ago….

There's no way I'm the only one that gives zero fucks about the TNS game?

I think it’s more to do with the recognition that we look really good in this division and a growing expectation that we were good enough to challenge towards the top of the Championship. The TNS game showed us that we will struggle against higher quality players in a better organised team….

Yeh, need to be careful not to condemn the whole of the ultras, as sure most of them don’t get caught up but last night is bigger than what the SLO should have to deal with and shows that they aren’t heeding the warnings. Needs nipped in the bud by the club before it gets worse.

I’m not sure I get any relevance at all as to whether they were part of the ultras. I don’t think anyone thinks the trouble was pre organised by the ultras.

All I want is the individuals identified and banned. None of this three strikes nonsense. We need to rid the clubs of troublemakers before it starts to be something we are associated with (like Airdrie). There are no excuses for last night whatsoever……

How would you know that they are better than Airdrie? - you lot don't even play in the same league as us ?

We are mid- table Championship and you guys have been beaten by a team of scousers masquerading as a Welsh Team 😀 😉 👍

Not quite sure how you get the scousers bit unless Oswestry had moved 60 miles North West?…

TNS had our number completely.  They knew how we'd play and did well shutting down our main threats.  Miller particularly didn't get a sniff.

As others have said, a harsh reminder of McGlynns inability to mix it up or react during the game.  We should get over the line this year but if we do go up, we'll get a lot more games that play out like tonight.

Gutted we've missed out on a final having beaten some decent teams to get to the semi.  Player for player TNS aren't better than us but tactically better and very well organised.

I watched the interview with the TNS manager before the game and he had clearly done his homework and knew our game plan inside out.
We were totally stifled and completely devoid of any ideas how to break them down.
They are a really decent side, better than Airdrie for sure, and deserve to be in the final…..

  15. Just want to say some of our supporters are absolute knobheads. WTF was that all about throwing barriers over the wall at TNS fans? Couldn’t believe that behaviour after a defeat in a diddy cup.
Please can we start banning these wankers who are bringing down our club? Its not the first time this season either..,,,

Spot on. The comments are over the top IMO. We made one mistake and got punished. Their press was better than anything we’ve faced and they set up defensively sound. Their keeper was busy than Nicky and on another night we’d have scored at least one. Just one of them games it didn’t happen for us. Move on and forget.

How was their keeper busier? We had 2 shots on target whole game and one of those was a powder puff header…..
