  1. Its all getting a little boring now.

Excuses after excuses from the administrators, not a peep from HMRC and the media trotting out the same old lines.

Why are they still trading? No other business would be allowed to continue in this state. Nothing we're not used to i suppose.

so rangers are to make savings of 1 million a month.

if hmrc see that they can do this(if they do)surely they(hnrc)should be holding the hands out for some of the savings.

how much did rfc owe the tax man 2 weeks ago? and how much now with add ons

PS. one home game in march ?.

  2. Not only could tomorrow be Liquidation Thursday (if this does happen I demand some artistic bugger to create a suitable graphic, ideally involving a stereotypical Rangers fan) but it is definetly payday for myself, with my wages backdated till the 20th of February. And even if they aren't liquidated there are surely going to be some huge player cuts at Ibrox resulting in tear-stained rants on Rangers forums, tear-filled calls to various radio call-in shows, tear-stained rants on P&B, tear-stained rants on Facebook...

isn't it the case that any players left after tomorrow become the employees of the administrators.

and i doubt they will be looking to pay big wages out.

the sad thing is there will be more than the players getting laid off.I was told after looking at the staffing

figures ian durrant will be away aswell.

  3. This saga is now entering the boring phase, either through lack of hard detail or a plethora of irrelevant and distracting stories.

Typical is the "Ally says we are not going ahead with the signing of Cousin". He knew it, I knew it, my granny knew it from the start. This was never going to happen and merely a distraction.

Administrators getting 2 people out the door so far. Yes only 2. Why are they holding on to the full squad? Plus loads of support staff in ticket office, PR - why are they still needed? Creditors must be asking why are you forking out money for players and staff who are not needed this season? Must be the most slow motion administration ever. Why???

Who is owed money? Forget HMRC, they will fight their own corner. But all the rest. The small companies scammed by Rangers who will probably be looking at laying off some of their own staff?

Before anything solid is happening, we have a Dave King photo opportunity with Ally - setup or what? Ellis being a nice guy and feeling guilty, but not too guilty. Paul Murray having meetings with the administrator. Are they talking about facts or just possibilities. All totally inconsequential until facts are known. But hell it keeps the idiots at the Record and Sun busy trying to make stories from all this nonsense.

This is a company which has stolen £80 million plus of OUR money. Action should be happening and be seen to be happening.

So beware the fluff and nonsense. Hateley (do anything for a few quid), Gough (Scotland career cut short) giving it big licks. Fills the tabloids though.

Essential to keep following the money. Not just in Whyte's time but the 10 years before as well. Thank God for the 2 blogs which keep the story on track.

The Rangers story must be told in its entirety.

did the south African tax authority ever get the millions he(king) owed them?

didnt he have to sell off a vineyard .

rangers investors = tax dodgers it seems.

  4. This is a rumour doing the rounds, I think pertaining to the new contracts for players in the summer. I don't think there has yet been any real evidence behind it - may just have stemmed from the Ticketus confusion (ie money going to Whyte's company The Rangers FC Group Limited as opposed to The Rangers Football Club PLC) so people putting 2 and 2 together and getting 49 million.

what ive heard is that its mcgregor and whittaker's contracts.

  5. Don't know what's been said in the other pages, but I think the timing of this is all planned. Leagues lost so they will forfeit 10 points. Resulting in them finishing 2nd 14pts behind instead of 4. Arrange a deal with creditors pay them xpence in the £. Get out of administration by the end of March. Start next season in Champions league and debt free.

What should happen is the SPL should look at it in the same way the English looked at Leeds. Who went into administration after they were already relegated. The league decided they were trying to avoid their punishment and the deduction was held over to the following season.

that wont be the tax man though,im pretty sure he will without doubt be wanting 100 pence in the £.

and rightly so.another point.if whyte hasnt been paying taxes or NI payments for staff,if they are made unemployed they will be due heehaw of the jobseekrs benefit.through no fault of there own and purely down to whyte who should be jailed if this is the case, maeby thats why he has jumped on a jet.

  6. tells the sorry state of scottish football that rangers are docked 10pts and motherwell are so pish that they are still way off catching them. even if motherwell were 10 pts ahead rangers would catch em

even if motherwell were 10 pts ahead and there were 3 games left in the season rangers would still get second. piss poor!!!

but if rangers havent the finances at ibrox secure by the 31st ? march.they wont be in the european cups..so it doesnt matter if motherwell or any other team for that matter are ten or 20 points behind and finish third.they are still in europe.and rangers arent.
