  1. Well they say what goes round, comes round.Maybe this is Airdries bit coming around again.I honestly feel that you will exist in some form next season.I just hope it's not at the expense of us.

I've been off here a couple of days, so forgive me, where on earth has this 'buying Airdrie' stuff come from?

FFS that would end me and the game back home forever. It would make Scottish football a shite version of the Indian Premier League cricket.

  2. I like the quotes at the end of the BBC article this evening

The real plan is becoming clear

"We have stated publicly on a number of occasions that our preferred option is a CVA and it's really down to HMRC," added Green.

"HMRC have had the documentation for over a week so, with each day that passes, we have to assume that they are on board. "It would be awful if they were to announce on the day that they were turning it down.

"If that's their decision, God forbid, then tell us early please and put us out of our misery."

  3. Been away since Friday evening.

Sure we were still in the 1300s then in terms of pages.

    What's happened over last 72hrs?

Green has come out waving his skuds in the air and the skid marks were there for all to see. The SFA told him it was his fault.

Some nomark fuckwit named Leggo has claimed all sorts against Stewart Regan and he'll expose a catholic conspiracy against Rangers from within the corridors at the BBC.

It would also seem H&D may not have been paying HMRC their dues for the time they have been running the club.

  4. Sorry to interupt, not usually on the forum. I don't know if this has been posted before but East of Scotland League posters wondering if it was right that Craig Graham, Chairman of Spartans who was one of the three SFA Appeal Panel members should be allowed to be part of a decision to punish Rangers when his club could benefit from the outcome. Especially now when FIFA allegedly wish the SFA to heavily punish Rangers. If Rangers were expelled this would leave a vacancy which Spartans would apply and possibly gain entry to the SFL as a result. What are the views, please?

  5. Just realised I'm going to be in Glasgow all day on Thursday, I'm bound to come across a few of RaPeepul either in bars or on a golf course.

Is it advisable to goad the feckers (e.g. 'Get it right roond ye, ya ugly H*n tramp') or would I be best advised to STFU ?

Well given the threats they issues in 2008 on the walk to Hampden, then the failure to back it up when laughed and scoffed at, I'd say you'd be fine to rip the piss.

  6. As far as I understand, it goes something like this

    - CVA fails

    - assets sold to Sevco (ie newco) for £5.5m

    - Sevco applies to have SFA membership and SPL share transferred

    - oldco is liquidated, but has no assets, other than the £5.5m Sevco paid

    - £5.5m just about covers H&Ds fees

    - creditors get screwed

    - Sevco (now Rangers) carry on trading

Interestingly, the £5.5m in the CVA doesnt buy Sevco the property. There is no value listed against the property under the newco option. The £5.5m buys the 'goodwill' etc. Make of that what you will.

There may well be legal challenges. As I said, an article posted earlier raised the question of the creditors agreeing to the sale

Not so sure Mr Green will have endeared himself to the 'Blazers' enough for that to be a given.

I'm sure the Spartans chairman didn't sit on the panel just for a laugh.

  7. If, by whole thing, you mean after the EBT findings, and if the findings are what we expect, then Rangers, newco or otherwise, have to be relegated. Fielding ineligible players means you forfeit the game. A season of forfeits equals relegation. The fact that Rangers may have been playing in a league that they should have been relegated from possibly as long ago as 2001 should also mean a heavy penalty on top of relegation.

That series of 0-3 scorelines will mean they have been guffer than East Stirlingshire for the best part of a decade.

  8. Against who, though? If they aren't members of the SFA, and by extension under the UEFA and FIFA umbrella, no club which IS so affiliated would be ALLOWED to play them. This is one of the reasons so many charity/commemorative matches feature "Man Utd Legends" or "Celtic XI". Or so I believe, anyway - feel free to correct me.

Oh, and feel free to explain to me which clubs would find the slightest soupcon of "glamour" in a match against a proudly sectarian club which has cheated its home association and fellow clubs for decades? Whose attitude since their behaviour became known has shown not an iota of regret or intention to atone for their crimes, but have shown a breathtaking sense of entitlement at every opportunity. Oh yes, and whose "fans" will sing songs of religious and racial hatred, use public streets as urinals, and visit extreme physical violence on anyone who dares to suggest that "The Peepul" should behave like human beings?

    Linfield and Celtic :thumsup2
