Could be an interesting week at the Lakeside. A lot of emerging players beating the usual suspects and its great to see.

Phil 'look at me' Taylor wanting to hand the trophy over They should tell him where to go. Would love to see a Webster/Anderson final on Monday night.

Think the fear factor of playing Taylor/Barney is waning a bit...and they didnt just get beat, they both got thumped! A great night of darts.

Decent start by Webster, Taylor giving him chances and he really needs to start taking them. If Taylor gets the next set against the darts, think it'll be a 5-1 job. Big big set for Webby now.

Certainly hope so, he'll probably get horsed tomorrow! Its great for him and its also great because normally at this stage of the tournament I only watch in the hope that somebody beats Taylor. He could be the man to do it Here's hoping for a similar result tomorrow.

Brilliant leg there from Gary under pressure! Would take some collapse now to stop him. Best finals I've ever seen were Taylor Vs Barney '07 and when John Part beat Taylor, think it was 6-5. last leg job.

Exactly, Tony Green is a dinosaur who really needs pensioned off. Kellet's a young man who's making his way in the game and good luck to him.

I agree but they are obviously happy with their lot. At this stage of their careers, the PDC should be the place to be with the almost all the top players playing there and lots of competitions for good money. But the competition isn't as tough in the BDO and it gives them better chances to win. Each to their own but if I had their talent I know where I would want to play. Had to laugh at the joke of the World Masters, any big tournament where 8 players get a bye to the last 16 is a joke, when Tony Green asked in the final who Stuart Kellet was! He'd never heard of him! The world number two at the time...

Who is Stuart Kellet? Won numerous opens(ranking events you know) this year and was runner up in the world masters. that's why he's so high in the rankings. Obviously Hankey and the likes haven't been doing well in the opens. To be fair, when some of these guys know they have qualified for the next years lakeside automatically, the need to travel all over for points isn't there and they concentrate more on making cash from exhibitions etc...

I can't stand Taylor but at the end of the day he has been playing against relative nobodies. When he does come up against a real contender he'll up his performance big style. I think the reason he hasn't played well is because he hasn't had to. No way Laursen etc were going to trouble him. Also, Hopefully Gary will keep going the way he has been and he has a real chance of winning it this year. Been very impressed with his consistency this week.

If your looking for an outsider, Mark Walsh could be the man. Has a good habit of beating Phil Taylor too. Can't write Barney off either although he's not exactly an outsider! Well done to Mark Webster last night too, another good tv performance hopefully he can keep it going after xmas.

I remember when Benjamin got a major push years back and the guy was a revelation. I read somewhere he pissed off a wwe road agent, or someone like that backstage, and since then all they do is keep him down. If they werent so petty they could still make him a big star. Great athlete and he always steals the show in the money in the bank matches at wrestlemania. I think if he went to TNA then the X divison would suit him down to the ground.
