  1. I'm pleased Nadal got pumped, just there. He's a total p***k and I frequently jeer the TV whenever he is on. He'll never be as good as Fed. The sooner his knees completely f**k up and he is forced to sadly retire, whilst his many fans sob because of the terrible news, the better. Absolutely despise all of this "Vamos Rafa" bullshit, f**k off.

As for Murray, well played, clearly the better player on the American hard court. I think now that Federer is past his best, Murray is the best on that surface. I tip him in the following US and Australian Open events. Whether it be Federer, or Djokovic, I think he'll win tomorow. Once Murray wins one slam, the others will follow more easily, and it will be Murray and Del Potro who will dominate the tennis world. Nadal will only win the clay events, and everybody knows they are shit.

  2. Why do you always talk down your club at every opportunity? Ever club in the country, will have issues that the average fan doesn't agree with. This might be the board, the wage structure, the fans, lack of ambition. Rather than talking down the whole club, lets here how things can get better for your club.

They can possibly, win the second division with a full-time squad. Apart from that, nothing.

  3. Can't we all just draw to the conclusion that Livingston F.C. are a fucking disaster of a club, with a core fanbase of around 700 local tossers and that in their 15 year history they have been in administration twice, cheated local businesses and have been up and down the Scottish football league, as well as the fact that within the next 15-20 years they will go bust?

As for the "Trust" as far as I am aware they do f**k all apart from handing out leaflets on littering, which people throw away, as well as, setting up events which approximately 13 people show up to.

They should also be paying their players part-time wages, on an average gate of just over 900. Also, from the look of our squad that we currently have, the players aren't full-time standard.

    That is all.

  4. The clubs will decide in June whether or not to continue with the Magic Weekend. If it does go ahead I can't see it happening in Dublin as you need to go by boat/aeroplane, which is more expensive for fans and the teams. It is easier to play in Edinburgh. The Grand Final is in Manchester and with Old Trafford being used for Premiership games that could be difficult. Also, they used to have it in Cardiff, but Wales already have a rugby league team so I can't see it happening there either. I heard it might go to London, but with the challenge cup final and Quins having a team, that is unlikely.

I would put my money on it returning to Edinburgh. However, at this moment in time I would bet against it even taking place.

  5. Yeah they were awful and were well beaten by a good Saints side biggrin.gif . I feel sory for the Hull KR fans though that came all the way up from Hull to see their team get alienated. The saints game was class and shows that Saints aren't in a transistional period.

The other games were good too the Castleford Catalans game better than I thought it would be and Wigan Huddersfield good with Wigan although I expected a closer game as Huddersfield were well beaten.

Some of the fans weren't pleased. Did you see that really angry lad run down the stairs after Saints went 52-0 up? He looked as if he wanted to get on and kick their heads in. Shouting 4 letter words half of the time and giving them w****r signals. When the HKR players came over to applaud he just ran down and shouted "f**k off you bunch of useless fucking wankers!" quite ammusing although Hull KR were awful. Saints were good though. Kyle Eastmond, seriously, what a player. He really took the piss out of the awful Hull KR defence. 54-0 wasn't flattering one bit. Rovers didn't even look like getting a point. Sets it up nicely for a Saints V Wigan final though. I would be happy if Hull KR got in the play-offs, although tha won't happen. For the past 3/4 games we have looked like a Championship side.

  6. I offered them £1000 but obviously they are making enough from the £4.50 they get from the quiz night. This week's was cancelled though, only 8 turned up laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif

laugh.gif What do those people do? Apart from handing out leaflets on littering, which everybody leaves in the stands, holding events which as you say 8 people turn up to and gain fans admission into the ground? The whole idea of the trust confuses me somewhat.

  7. never been great on clay.

    6-2 6-1 against a player ranked 30 places below.

    In the first round.

3 consecutive masters events where he has been knocked out in the first round to mediocre opponents.

Got to the semi-final of this event last year.

Your proposed argument is piss-poor, Perthshirebell. Just like And Murray.

  8. Looks like Paul Cooke's making his debut for Wakefield this weekend. Great player but needs to improve his off field behaviour by the looks of it but, if anyone can improve his behaviour and can turn his career back round it's John Kear.

Good player, we shouldn't have let him go.

  9. That's a great signing for Huddersfield in Danny Brough. Would have loved to have seen Saints go for him. It's a shame he wants to play for England now and not Scotland but I can understand why as he wants to international rugby at a higher level. Which is why we should still have the GB team as it means he could play at a higher level but still play for Scotland at the same time.

Danny Brough is a great player, he's got a great future. I'm surprised he went to Huddersfield, I thought that if he was going to leave Wakey, it would be to either Leeds or Saints. Still, a great new player for the Giants.

Also, brilliant result for Rovers tonight. First time we've won at Leeds for nearly 30 years.

Saints got a good result too against Warrington. Looked game over at one point and the Warry got two tries, but Saints still managed to get the win.

What I want to know is, why do Sky always insist on showing the worst looking fixture. Tonight Leeds were playing Rovers and Saints were playing Warry. Two big games. Instead they went with Crusaders V Catalans, the two least supported teams in the Super League, so nobody reall cares and they are both at the bottom, it's not like football were there is a relegation battle. Although Gareth Thomas was making his debut, so it's an okay reason to show the most boring match of the weekend. He got a right clattering 2 minutes in though.

  10. Yeah that could happen but Leeds lost again this weekend!

Thanks for not gloating . From what I've seen on tv and read it sounded like it was a close game which is what you want. Games to be close. It makes it better league as the last couple of years Saints, Leeds and Bradford were gaurenteed to win practically every game but now Bradford have been crap the last few seasons. They look as if they'll do bette this year but they'll be inconsistent. Leeds have lost three of their last six games

and they don't look to great (although like you said could/should improve as the season progresses and,as for us (Saints) well I'm not sure. We'll definitley get the playoffs but wether we can win or not I'm not sure. A ot of the young guys are coming through and a lot of the older heads are leaving/retireing like the legend Keiron Cunningham so, even if we don't win it this year hopefully we can win it in a few years when the young guys have gained a lot more experiance.

Aye the magic weekend will be fantastic. It was last year and you're right the atmosphere was fantastic last year. I don't think you will tongue.gif .

    MON THE SAINTS!

I think that Saints miss Sean Long, who went to Hull FC and scored 2 tries against us in pre-season. He's having a good season at the football ground too. I think Kyle Eastmond is a good player for the future although I haven't seen him this season. Overall, I'm predicting a Leeds V Wigan grand final. Hull KR won't make the play-offs this season, 9th place probably.

  11. Today in the chippy, some bitch came in and asked for baked potato! After being told that Baked potatoes weren't on sale she looked pretty devastated and spent the next 40 seconds looking into the little ovens at the counter at what there was. Unlike a normal person at a chippy, who would be there to buy chips, she eventually decided that she wanted a fucking salad, without onions. What the f**k is wrong with these people!? Go to a salad bar or some other place were arseholes eat shit food made for arseholes, but don't come to a fucking chippy!
