I see JR came out and said he is NOT retiring and says he still has a few years left in him yet, great news, Psycho Sid came out and said he wants to get back into the ring in a big way but would prefere WWE over TNA, his son is also a wrestler now who sid has had matches with in the past.

once again Impact was TWICE the show that raw was, as for raws legacy with divas wrestling, another slap in the face to any women serious about wrestling as there was longer time spent focusing on women in a hot tub than in the ring with that 7 second match, poor beth phoenix looked pretty pissed off that she got all dressed up and along with 80% of the women there didn't get any action in that match TNA was brilliant, they even managed to Fire the nasty boys, TNA is really getting it's stuff in order, all they need to do is punt bubba the love sponge out, because 99.9% of the world find him unfunny, obese, stupid and a waste of time.... unfortunatly hogan likes him. TNA got bad ratings but the Raw after wrestlemania is normally the biggest raw of the year, Without HBK and now with J.R. hanging up the cowboy hat WWE is going to need to rely on younger stars, I really like Di Biase but Rhodes and Swagger don't cut it with me, only ted and drew are the real young guys who have world title gold ahead of them imo.

to early to tell, the team doesn't own any players yet so thats the stage we are at right now, I would imagine the arena being between 60-75% full for most games but I fully expect it to be sold out on certain big games pushing us on for the play-offs

point well taken, it will take years to get a feel for it, but already it's a game that is being looked forward to some 200 days before the season starts, it's rumoured that the Clan might take some Caps players which I'm sure would be a base for some history to grow and some banter along with it. I really hope we see an Edingburgh vs Glasgow rivalry as we don't see it in football it's mainly old firm and edinburgh derby focus on themselves, but to have an east vs west thing would be something to build towards.

will you be getting a season ticket for the Clan next season? I'm a member of a Caps forum and I think they are taking this as a serious rivalry also heard from some Giants fans who are more than happy to have a glasgow team to play against. I think we benefit from a lot of travelling fans next season everyone will want to check out the newest team and arena

Season starts in September, but due to Braeheads prior arrangements the Clan won't have their first home game until October, by all means get a Season ticket, cheaper than the football, friendlier atmosphere and more action. The Clan are driving hard to bring in fans for the next season, Braehead Arena is a cracking wee venue, will be good to go on fan trips away for the weeken to Belfast when the Clan play the Giants and I'm looking forward to the Edinburgh Capitals rivalry. Hopefully there will be a lot of season ticket holders come the start of the season, would be great to get an east vs west rivalry with the Caps P.S. Can we use this as the EIHL thread, should be a lot to talk about with the Play offs next week.

TNA is by far better than WWE the only reason WWE is winning in the ratings is because it's had Decades of being a household name and with that the money, people don't like change and are quite happy to eat up the same old product. But Rome wasn't built in a day and TNA will reach the same Heights one day

I was really disappointed at Austins non-involvement in the "main event" of raw, must be a first for a contract signing involving stone cold.... no stunners and when was the last time you saw a contract signing that didn't involve someone going through the table in the middle of the ring on to a different topic.... Remember when Smackdown! was Awesome, with Awesomer music/intro/stage/announcers/pyro/wrestlers

Nova was a real inovator, quite often you heard joey styles rant about how super nova pulled out some moves then you see them on monday nights, he was a real talent imo, I loved when he used to pull out 3-way moves such as giving one guy a stunner and at the same time with the other arm giving someone else a DDT and then hitting a downed opponent with a leg drop. His nickname was the inovator of offence, him and Chris Chetti were a great tag team too, you should rewatch some old ECW matches, guys like nova and jerry lynn were making up moves years before they were adopted by the "sports entertainment" assholes

I fucking HATE CZW with a passion! those idiots just bleed and wrestle bad, I LOVED the original ECW but that was violence mixed with some of the best technical wrestling around at the time (Nova, RVD, Lynn, Corino, ect.) but CZW and guys like necro butcher are just SHIT it's not wrestling it's bum fights in a ring... f**k it. rant over new rant: TNA pished all over Raw last night, I posted my Raw review on page 145, TNA was much better (agreed that Beer Money sudenly going heel for no reason is fucked) but the rest was great! we saw a Really good match (Hardy vs Styles) that Raw couldn't touch, also was good to see Foley shave Bischoffs head bald the Ultimate X match is going to be insane, these guys really are the best pound for pound entertaining wrestlers in the game today, love it!

Raw.... first match: Cena vs Big show. Batista runs down to ringside, distraction, show wins... boring match second match: Sheamus vs evan bourn... lasts 2 seconds, boring third match: Y2J vs HBK. Y2J gets himself counted out.... really boring! fourth match: Orton vs Triple H.... another run in match ends in disqualification. BORING. fifth match: Batista vs Kofi. This one actually happens like a normal match, quick though, nothing special Having all this talent and Steve Austin being the guest GM..... it just feels like they could have made this a Whole lot better than it was, raw is just generic and obvious now, really gutted they didn't use Austin a lot better when his music goes you really get a flashback to when wwe was watchable. Anyone who says TNA can't compete, well after watching what was supposed to be a strong raw card with huge GM, it was just about as flat and dull a show as you could ask for. bret's leg wasn't really broken????... get outta town!

would be good to see HBK come to TNA for a short stint and have one last match with flair, they could write it up as HBK angry that Flair came back after HBK retired him I know this will never happen but.... oh well
