Last time. He did. He claimed agreement had been reached with Airdrie, who didn't even own the stadium at the time.
Gentlemen!! Could you please start your own mibbees aye, mibbees naw thread for this subject?

If 3 leagues of 16 is being spoken about, surely you're not naive enough to realise it will contain at least two colt teams.
NOW!!! I wonder who these Colt Teams might be?

Just checked out the full length video on Raith TV between us and East Fife December past at New Bayview.
Corker of a match, worth 90 minutes of change during this lock down.
Go to Raith Rovers FC club site.
Enjoy!!

Going by a number of comments on here I think it would be wise for Bill Clark to give a bit more detail regarding the situation money wise.
I'm not into conspiracy theories and have always thought Bill Clark to be a decent honest guy (certainly FAR better than what we had a couple of seasons ago).
I believe this would be the time to add any further info available to the fan base and nip some of the "suggestions" in the bud

So its not to bad to declare Raith champions, but just don't promote when the prize for winning your league is promotion, I think not. Null and void are not on the table so the only resolution is promotion and relegation or promotion and no relegation.
Let's get the facts out.
No football until the 10th June
Player contracts come to an end 9th June.
Raith top of the league after 75% games played.
Teams on the verge of going out of business.
No players discussions until resolution.
No season ticket sales until a resolution.
From the Spfl rules.Season means the period of the year commencing on the date of the first league match in a season and ending on the date of the last league match in the same season or otherwise as determined by the board and which excludes the close season.
if the board are saying season is finished then league positions stand and promotion happens.
Far, far too much commonsense in this post....;... Let's have a bit more subjectivity.......

IF this impasse continues we may not have a CLUB to follow by the end of May, in spite of the £50,000 raised.
I am sure we (RRFC) may not be the only one.

It’s already been discussed by them. According to early reports, the vote looks like 50% and not 75% so they will need something else.Fair play, however, the longer they linger the more likelihood of clubs going bust!!

Promotion based on current standings is correct, but if you expect 75% of teams to vote for it, allowing 1 up with no playoffs is a hard sell. Why not allow the top 4 up with no relegation from the league above? You’d get 75% with that.
Okay, suggest that to the SPFL, see what they think!!

Would you be in favour if we were in second place? What other choice would I have? Would I be happy, NO but I'd bite the bullet.
Why is the club fund raising right now, so we have a Club to support in the coming season.

There’s no way 75% of clubs will accept that proposal. Sadly.Mibbees aye, mibbees naw.
Consider that ICT and Dundee are 14 and 18 points behind DUFC, respectively.
I accept it's hard on the teams in play off places but what, really, is the alternative?
(I also wonder how many teams have reached the play offs in recent years and are still in the same division?)
i think a good number of clubs will WANT the money from the SPFL, knowing what Leagues they will be in, bite the bullet and crack on!!

Let’s flip that argument- if Raith were bottom end of quarter one. Bottom end of quarter two. Bottom at the end of quarter three BY ONE POINT. Bottom on the Criteria used by the SPFL. Would you still agree that was fair?
But............they're NO' !! So what IS your point?

Despite the unsuitability of this proposal, to a number of clubs,it would seem that the SPFL, by giving the clubs their money for season current placing, at least would ease some of their cash problems.
I doubt if anyone is happy about this proposal but, such is the uncertainty in postponing it, for whatever reason, would surely lead to an even worse situation for everyone?

Just seen the proposed SPFL answer to the season end, on BBC Sport.
Going by their proposal Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers would be promoted from their respective divisons as Champions.
NO PLAY OFFS!!
Stranraer and Partick relegated.

Haud oan there!!
They have given us £2000....not £20,000?
If so scandalous, I know every little help, but..
We'd take that much in Pie and Bovril sales on a "good" day.
