Which Championship team would you prefer in play offs?

Would have said Cove a few weeks ago as they were shipping goals for a laugh but now I'm not too fussed. Think it's most likely Hamilton as they're currently 9th and I fancy Arbroath to get at least a point in that game.

If there was a scintilla of a chance of ICT winning this then it would be required viewing for all. However as Celtic will have scored twice within the first ten minutes it will be a tedious display of pointlessness played out to a background of bigots singing 'party songs'. Unless you're a fan of either team I don't understand how anyone who enjoys watching football would watch that over a Manchester derby FA Cup Final.

    Because they enjoy Scottish football?

The FA Cup final may look well poised due to the names of the two teams but the odds have City ~80% chance of lifting the trophy (~63% of winning in 90 minutes). It could be just as one-sided as Celtic-Inverness.

And McGlynns 30 year as a coach has so far seen him fail to achieve more points in his first 29 league matches than M&M. He has also failed to overcome the relative rookie James McPake, got beat off Marvin Bartley and various others. These are the reasons why we aren’t competing at the top. McGlynn couldn’t even beat M&M with his Raith team so experience doesn’t seem to count for much. It hasn’t landed McGlynn a better job than us and who knows whether M&M have been offered jobs is besides the point.

At the end of the day results matter and McGlynn has to make us harder to beat if we are to have any chance of getting through the playoffs.

Here’s how his record stands up for 29 league games vs M&M

    Miller and McCracken

    P29 W16 D10 L3 GF56 GA26 Pts 58

    McGlynn
    P29 W16 D7 L6 GF56 GA29 Pts 55

M&M went on to have 4 more matches before being sacked which were 3 losses and a win.

Looking at the above then if you still think McGlynn is a huge improvement from M&M, as stated previously, then there is no point arguing.

Amazing what a player like Declan McManus can do for you in this league.

The arsehole contingent of Falkirks support will be out and about probably. Can't imagine they'll be too chuffed at so many Fifers taking over their town.

I don't think any sane Falkirk fan will be bothered about Raith 'taking over'. We'll get a small fee from the SPFL for the stadium use and the pubs in town will get an expected boost.

What is there to wonder? You'll be in a 5-4-1 shitting bricks and hoping for a 0-0.

If Henderson's fit he'll be in the middle of the park, Donaldson & Mackie have been our best partnership and Henderson's been excellent in the middle of the park with McGinn.

Is Henderson a doubt? I just assumed that was a tactical change on Saturday. Would be interesting to see Max start here but not sure if McGlynn will go that bold from the off.

This.  We can’t be complacent about this, we absolutely need to keep the momentum up.  Also shouldn’t forget that goal difference could yet come into play.

For me, put out our strongest team but be ready to make subs to ensure players are being rested as much as possible.

We're +24 and Dunfermline are +26 with us having scored 9 more. A decent position considering how leaky we were earlier in the season and the firepower we look to have now.

Don't really understand Richard Foster's wee dig saying the players were enjoying it too much at the final whistle. As far as I could see they were just showing appreciation to the fans that had travelled.

He was a bit more complimentary later on but that was a bizarre comment. It's a L1 team a game away from Hampden. Might be the only chance some of these players get to play there.

I'd have Ayr as marginal favourites but both teams will be happy with that draw.

Think you guys will have enough to beat Darvel and McGlynn won't be as slapdash as Goodwin was. In two minds if its a good thing for the Pars if you do go through  - confidence and the extra revenue of course but then extra games and the potential for some players to not go full pelt in a league game in case they miss a showpiece fixture, one that might be their biggest ever game. A good headache for you guys to have mind you.

Tbh it'll probably only be one extra game if we go through on Monday. The last 8 will most likely be 6 Premiership sides plus Ayr who are going well in the Championship. I'd love another trip to Hampden but I don't see us beating any of them.
