Quite disappointing that we couldn't bring in any midfield reinforcements this week, thought we were particularly poor in that area last week. Hopefully we can just find a way to outscore Montrose tomorrow and then sort the midfield next week.

I appreciate Rennie putting a positive spin on things - 3 points, clean sheet etc but that was bloody awful. If I'm being honest EF deserved a point. At one point in the first half, against 10 men, we had every player in our box, far to negative Motm for me either Martin or Kabila. Yeah I'd have no issue with mutch getting another shot. Martin I thought looked more decisive at crosses etc when he first came in but has regressed in all aspects over the last month or so.

Pretty harsh taking a pop at rennie for not travelling the length and breadth of the country sourcing players. The guy has only been in the door a month and its nigh on impossible to plan scouting missions due to covid call offs. Scouting some random in the backwaters of England strikes me as a real slow burner of a strategy. We need guys that the manager knows will come in and hit the ground running.

This. At the time I didn't think it was the right appointment and rather we'd gone after Murray, but Rennie comes across extremely well, as you say there is an obvious style of play and we're scoring. Despite losing at the weekend, in a game we should have won, the players never chucked it at 2 nil, which for me is a big improvement. Just hoping that we can bring in some quality and build some momentum for an assault on the playoffs.

Would be more than happy with Liam Craig, the guy is a leader and a winner, precisely the type of player we need. Hopefully we'll see some movement tomorrow.
