Ladeside 3 Glencairn 0
An early goal from the side . Thought Muir finished off a great header back from Longworth but seems it was an og . From there on the 1st half belonged to Glencairn & how they didn’t at least equalise beggars belief. . 2nd half started better for the side & it could have been far more than Jamie Longworths 2 goals . Best player today were Longworth, Hughes at the back for the side & the always impressive Mcrobbie for Glencairn. I’d take that lad for the side in a heartbeat

This is my way of travel, but we’ll find a coffee shop instead [emoji23]
They have a restaurant as well [emoji12]0 -
Get the train to Kilwinning , jump into Taylor’s at the station , have a couple beers then ask for directions

Why u not a fan of him ??
Various reasons . Too many to go into on a football forum tbh . Let’s just say he will be afforded a warm welcome in a couple weeks at the Vale0 -
Feel sorry for Cumnock as a club . Odious individual . If he gets appointed hopefully it’s before we are due to play them on the 30th

Good guy is snowy he worked under hard times at the bankies but never gave up. Having him on board will defo help kilbirnie. Who is robert scott tho? R use happy with his appointment?
Mon the papers
Rab was Liam’s assistant . Was Kilmarnock under 16 coach before he came to the club & yes everyone happy with the appointment. Extra bonus with Liam staying on in a playing capacity as well1 -

Tony Mc is way above the quality of anyone mentioned for the job.If Kilbirnie has any real aspirations to progress he is the outstanding candidate.
Stay aff the drugs . Never will happen. Clowns that try to attack club committee with baseball bats hidden in the boot of their cars will never get a job at said club .0 -
Is John Sheridan still playing for Beith? I always thought he would be a good gaffer.
Aye & Scott Brown would be as welcome as Rangers manager as Sheridan would be at Ladeside lol3 -
Kennie explained on another thread that both clubs had asked to play on the Sunday.
I'm now going to watch the Winton on Friday evening because there is no way I can go to Cumbernauld on Rememberance Sunday due to other commitments.
I'ts certainly raised the profileof the competition in my house.
Seen that after I posted here lol. Nauld were keen to get the draw but as Kennie explained he wants to take it around the grounds which is a great idea .0 -
Was informed the reason our game was moved to the Sunday was to have the draw afterwards . Now it’s at Greenock ? Strange 1 moving our game then

Give that a miss thanks

Toys out the pram from the unofficial Ladeside twitter.
Beat 1-0 . Out the Scottish again . All respect to@CairnJuniors but f**k me nowhere near good enough. Can complain about the surface , the set up etc but we should be still be good enough to take care of a side like them. Embarrassing
Don’t know how this is anything to do with the Ladeside managers position. . A separate Ladeside thread available for this poor fishing attempt
And agree with ccr about Liam’s position . Was only stating the fact that he is a signed player at the club0 -
Liam still a signed player for the club. Any club wishing to sign him would have to pay a fee . Personally I hope he stays as a player as he’s still 1 of the best midfielders around

Tony McInally could sort you out.
Thankfully the committee know what he’s like so there’s more chance of them offering you the job lol1 -
Hope he gets his boots back on and comes over to Dalry. A player of his experience and quality is exactly what our midfield needs.
Tbh he could still easily do a job for us in the top league . Quality player4 -

Was going to put it on our page but by the time it was discussed on our Facebook page it was a tad late
Not sure if the reason but he indicated that he wished to resign before yesterday’s game but the players weren’t told until after the game
Wonder who we will get now .1 -
Anyway sorry that personal abuse from my fans is car crashing this thread. Cumnock going out was a shock that early as was Kilbirnie in my opinion.
Gartcairn have played us twice and win twice Largs goin out at Kirriemuir is a far bigger shock imo0 -
3 shocks as far as my eye sees tonight. Did predict ours so not surprised the other 2 are hugely surprising especially our seagull feeding friends lol

Any info for travelling fans ? Nearest watering hole ? Where to get a bite to eat pre match/half time ?

Will end up back amateur until the end of the season then sign up with some other junior side next season

Do you think there will be any shocks this weekend & if so what game ?
Think we will struggle at Gartcairn tbh but hopefully not
Any other potential banana skins ?

I’m not a fan of artificial surfaces but surely you can’t be suggesting that any two grass park are the same or that any grass park plays the same irrespective of the weather ?
If a grass pitch is properly maintained then you will find there of the same spec . Not seen 2 fake pitches the same way yet0

Didn’t think it was a pen at the time . In fact I couldn’t recall anything even remotely like 1 . Confirmed there when not 1 player appealed for it & that’s usually a guide when appealing for 1
