Branson was far better than Murray so if we end up signing that oaf I shall not be best pleased. The fact that I've got atleast one more season watching Dowie does not inspire confidence either -

Pretty sure he did, him and Williamson always looked promising but never really delivered. Every time I see him now I forget what a big fecker he is -

Really? Will ask Groovy to look over the Video's. Was it just me or were East Fife throwing themselves about a fair bit? One straight red and a few yellow's would have been shown but I think Durie and Jeffries asked if they could keep the gave 11 a-side -

Was definitely a Ryan Thomson goal, not an O.G. Onto the team that played, Smith - should just go, was shocking in goals. Branson - for a teenager looked very impressive, was vocal etc. Made a few mistakes but perfectly understandable. Geggan - was acceptable at right back and would be good cover for McMillan. Potter - dominated the back and really looked to be helping Branson out positionally. O' Holloran - or whatever his puss is called, another to get rid of. Worse than Boyle first half but improved slightly 2nd half. Kane - Very composed on the ball and spread play well but gave the ball away far too often. Will get better when he gets used to the team. Falkingham - Same style of box to box midfielder as Thomson except better on the ball and without the physical presence, looked good. Thomson - Played very well, played higher up than usual and did what was required off of him. Good positional awareness between him and Willis for his goal. Willis - Played well and never lost a header. Wallace - Similar to Buchannan but has more pace. Kirk - Played some good link up play with Wallace, Willis and Thomson. Murray - Not impressed at all. Burns - Improved as 2nd half went on but was still pretty poor. Keeper in 2nd Half - Much better than Smith but his positioning was embarrassing to watch. Whittle - Very impressed, pacey, skillful and put in a few unexpected crosses which put the defence in chaos mode. This lad is definitely going to become a fans favorite. Jo Who? Kyle - Clearly unfit but what a complete machine of a man, watching players literally bounce off him was quite amusing. Byrne - Impressed me, looks technically good. We played a sort of skewered 4-4-2 formation in the first with Willis on the right and no left winger fr some reason. -

I actually really like this idea, especially the mock image of Norrie that they've done as an example. -

Dowie to me is a good ball playing Centre half, Keddie had more of a clear at all costs style of play. Decent enough player for the 1st but should be nowhere near an SPL level defence. The fact that people didn't think he made many mistakes is actually quite scary, next game he plays, watch him at set pieces, the reason he doesn't look like he makes mistakes is because he is so far behind the player he is marking that you don't notice him. Awful marker -

Hmmm, i've totally forgotten where half our new players play or who we've even signed. Getting to know faces could take a while -

Why would anybody keep Dowie exactly? Good player for the 1st admittedly, but he was behind Keddie a couple seasons ago Getting a bit worrying though, considering we only have McMillan and Young as confirmed defenders for next year -

Do the club feel the need to widen the gap between the boardroom and fans even further? Why the love in with that mob of erseholes? -

I like the idea, the implementation of said idea however is not good. Like I posted many times on .net, naming themselves with words like 'Elite, Ultra's' etc would just serve to alienate other Pars fans, Hence my suggestion of 'The East End Barmy Army' the words to an already well known Pars song. I give it 2 months before it is attracting Neds enticed by the name looking for a scrap. -

Not really bothered about Clarke really, mentioned on .net and was shouted down months ago when he was first loaned out that he is a good player, master of none. He doesn't have the brain or poaching ability of Kirk, the ariel ability and pace of Bannerman or the tenacity of Buchannan. Now just to get rid of Dowie and I'm happy with the departures minus Graham -

I will always love Macca for bringing the likes of Gibson, Cardle, Graham, Kirk and Hardie to the club. Some players just make going to the football worthwhile. Watching Gibson destroy Dundee on the night Patterson broke his leg, Graham making last gasp charges into the box a couple seasons ago against Raith at Starks resulting in us winning the game in the last couple minutes both times, Hardie being Hardie etc. Players like that are special for clubs like ours. -

Cannot believe they are letting Davie G go. Top 1st Division player who can play anywhere in midfield or up front. Good luck to him wherever he goes though -

A confident Smith would be fine in the 1st, a no confidence Smith however... Regarding me Midfield, obviously that is from what I've seen this season. Hardie for me is about 60/40 for a new 1yr deal. Wouldn't have the same kick that he had to win us the 1st last time imo but he is versatile positionally, has incredible ball control, is a machine and is the best passer we have at the club. Bell and Phinn, both had the ability before their injuries, but at most I'd give one or the other, probably Bell a contract till Xmas to prove himself, if not we bring in somebody new in January. Kerr I can't see staying as he would likely have to lower his wage expectations by quite a bit. Forward wise, I'd keep Kirk and Barrowman as our main two with backup from either Buchannan or McDougall (Likely the latter due to his versatility and technical ability which is lacking in the rest of our forwards). Clarke has to go imo. -

Thomson isn't fast, but then again he s a similar player to Mason who has done very well for us with non-existent pace. Frankly if we started next season with a team resembling: Smith/Barlow McMillan - ? - ? - ?/Boyle Mason - Graham - Thomson Willis - Kirk - Cardle Gk Young Byrne Whittle Bannerman I'd be happy with that really. Our midfield and forwards are more than capable in the 1st. Since JJ seems to be favoring a defensive 4-5-1/Offensive 4-3-3 formation I'd like the team to look like that as I feel Graham was excellent in the centre of midfield and Thomson and Willis will only get better playing a full season -

Agreed. Boyle,Ozzie, Dowie and Keddie are shocking. Rusty is capable but never plays so should get punted. McMillan is the only positive this season along with Kirk, Willis and Thomson -

Dowie, like Baracus said, was part of our defence this season. The number of times he lost his man for goals was terrifying. And Gallacher was no better than Smith, infact, I'd get rid of the pair of them if possible
