My neighbour just tried to get out of the street, got about 20 yards and got stuck.  Only got back to his own drive with the help of about 6 neighbours pushing.

We're up a wee side road in Camelon, the main roads are actually OK but the footpaths are quite bad. I've got a mate stuck in his street in Stenhousemuir as well so we're all trying to dig our cars out today.

  2. Decided to walk to my GP rather than try to dig the car out, probably made the wrong choice and slipped and fell on my damn hip. Journey was made even more miserable when some middle-age wife from Tamfourhill assumed that I wanted to hear all about how awful the council are, about how she has to walk all the way into Camelon for milk and about how unwell she is. Stood there smiling,  and grimacing for 5 minutes which felt like 5 hours.

Re-grouping with some home-made soup before I figure out which pharmacies are open and which one will be easiest to get to.

  3. Does anyone in the Falkirk area know if there's snow ploughs kicking about today? Need to go for a prescription but doubting my ability to walk to my GP. Could probably dig the car out and drive if the roads were to be cleared a bit.

I had one for about two year before switching to Sony. It's an excellent value full frame DSLR. Not great for action shots etc as I think it's max is 4fps. It was ideal for me though as it performs well for landscape and night sky type stuff.

You'll need to upgrade your lenses as well though. You can't use EF-S lenses with full frame.

Damn, I'm really in need of something that'd be able to pick up wildlife that might be on the go at the time. Had planned to chuck my lenses anyway as they're also way past their best.

Aye, Bobby Law. The keeper sold the winner as well. What a night.

I can remember watching the ball boys behind the goal celebrating when everyone else in the ground still had no idea if the goal had been awarded or not, I'm sure the keeper tried to palm the ball over the bar but it fell back down over the line despite the keeper trying to disguise the fact.

    Great night!

Falkirk players have clearly had something drummed into them by Houston or others to wind up opposition players. You saw it at EEP last season. It just got out of hand. The way the falkirk board and management handled things going right back to the Hypolite cheating has been poor.

The sad thing is what Dean has had to go through just by doing his job. Ok he shouldn't have kicked out but the ref was yards away to the abuse and did f**k all.

The best form of punishment would be for the Falkirk players and fans to spend a day or two with blind kids. Might make them have a wee think about how shitty they were.

Its been coming for years to Falkirk fans, there's definitely a moronic element to their support. Not saying pars are perfect but let's not forget the Norrie chants. It was half the terrace at brockville with parents and kids joining in. I don't remember a single chant when the young falkirk player died of an electric shock.

Before the game last Tuesday around 50 young falkirk fans walked past the main stand singing what sounded like "deans got one eye we've go at two, Norries dead and so are you"

Pretty much guarantee it was them who chucked eye balls.

    F**k me! :o:lol:

Any advice on where to park today need plenty room for the tractor:thumsup2

There will likely be spaces at Falkirk college which is about a 5min walk from the ground and it's free. Alternatively there's the industrial park next to the helix park which is also free and a bit easier to get back onto the M9 afterwards.

“It’s not what I signed here for, but it’s the way it is. I can’t do anything about it now, we just need to put in the performances and push up.

Well you can do something about it Alex, either f*ck off or get stuck in.

Watched the game on the Teuchtar Channel, passing the ball about the defence is fine if you want to keep possesion but I thought we lacked that we bit quality up front,  a target man who could at least work their goal keeper, too many shots wide of the mark, Hartley certainly has his work cut out.

As to the offensive singing, can someone tell me how this Falkirk Dunfermline bile started off ?,  seems to have been on the go as far back as the eighties or nineties and as I recollect mainly from a section of Falkirk fans, they used to make hissing noises with reference to Norrie McAthie's tragic death in a gas accident.

Not nice boys ! Makes us look like low rent old firm fans.

Can we please, please leave this insidious practice to fans of the Ugly Sisters in the west, Dunfermline, like us, are a provincial club, stuggling against financial pressures whilst no doubt watching bus loads of locals heading out to Old Firm games each week, aye have a bit banter but for f#@cks sake keep it real.

I thought if the ref had dealt with an incident during the match then they couldn't come back later and issue a ban etc?

I'm not sure of the finer points of the rules but it seems bloody odd to me that O'Hara said something, was issued a yellow for it then weeks later it's suddenly worth an 8-game ban.
