Sun out now, virtually stopped raining and a slight breeze Gayfield style, forecast was correct but outlying roads look bad, all in all just about right but not by much.

Do you generally get a free one somewhere? Not keen on paying your club money.
It sometimes works but I think it’s the pixalot stream.

The stream that we can’t stream, aye?
International stream, use a VPN.

I’m going to predict the game will be ON, forecast is an improving picture with around 18-20mph winds predicted, 25mph an above ruins the game at Gayfield, drainage is superb some rain fell yesterday but not a really really lot.

We really need to the the cheque book out, what’s the point of having piles of greenbacks in the bank if you get relegated at the end of the season, we need to push more of we are a hibrid club as Pink mentioned at the last meeting, wonder how much more Partick offered compared to us for that left back, by all accounts Partick are skint, Dick has got a very few games left before I start calling for his head, his Turkey may well be cooked long before Christmas.

Is this actually for real?...if so, I might have to go and buy one myself and see if they let home supporters in with them....unbelievable!

What’s the craic with your social club, take it it’s still open, are away fans allowed in, what flavours of beer do you have on draft and is there an admission charge. Also I take it there is away supporters turnstiles at the Summerville Road side, cheers.

I get the feeling that he’s been told this is his final chance and he’s getting desperate. Last orders about to be called in the last chance saloon I think.
The board will be very aware of how this could all collapse like a house of cards. Season ticket sales are down, I imagine hospitality has taken a big hit (didn’t even look full last night) and this will all have a knock effect on ticket sales, merch sales etc.
There only so much goodwill and the bottom line is that the board will have planned for and invested in continuing to be a championship side. If that’s looking under serious jeopardy then he’ll be gone.
Yes Dick has… or at least had, a lot of goodwill credit in the bank but the future and interests of the club is far far more important than Dick Campbell et al.
Both hospitality games against United were sold out within hours of the fixtures list being announced, however I do agree with you being Dick and Co being in the last chance saloon, all brownie points used up.

This whole parking thing is confusing me. I’ve parked at Gayfield* a number of times over the years and cannot recall any problems.
* autocorrect on iPad wants to change this to Garfield!
Just park behind the home end of Gayf, no fees, but don’t block entrances, loads of parking there, literally 5 mins max to the ground if that.

Something I'm hoping the social media profiles will be useful for is highlighting some things that, while they are on the archive itself, can easily get lost in amongst everything else. For example, I'd be very surprised if someone stumbled upon the previously unseen 20 minute long highlights of George Best playing at Gayfield for Arbroath Vics against ourselves to celebrate the Vics centenary, but through the wonders of social media I've been able to highlight them on posts on Twitter and Facebook. Both posts have a link to the highlights, and the Facebook post explains how we got our hands on them
Simon, you able to find highlights of Arbroath beating Hibs in the Scottish cup approx 1977 at Easter Road, highlights were shown on the BBC at the time, cheers.

Little tip for folk on here. Stay off the Arbroath social media today. It’s constant spam of children on holiday.
Considering a journey to Falkirk tomorrow. I went to Brockville as a youngster but haven’t been to the new ground. Would like to see the trialist from the other night again.
What a FUD, these people are our up and coming fans of the future, stay off the funny fags.

After the issues we gave had with strikers you wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for quality, would not mind if we are pay a good striker who could make be the difference a decent wage,
we were willing to pay a transfer fee for Hester so obviously there is money there...
We have to spend money on a striker, no point in having a million in the bank and being relegated.

Pack in what? The fact I disagree on club issues? The fact I don’t think the sun shines out of Paul Reids arse? I agree I have difference of opinion from you but I certainly won’t apologise for it young man.

Honestly fucking hilarious - what are they seeing? At the Montrose game the boys I stand with asked me who it was uptop and I had told them he’d played the week before at Brechin and they couldn’t even remember him. He was pish against Montrose too. Cannot be arsed
Thought he was okay last Saturday without setting the Heather on fire but so we’re most, remember Nouble was pish for 5 or 6 games before he got going.

What a frankly embarrassing reply that is. Many can’t afford to pay the fee required to become a shareholder so in your eyes they don’t deserve the same communication from the club.
Never bought shares, got them free with a season ticket.

Oh that’s fine then. As long as they informed the shareholders. Don’t worry about the rest of us plebs
You don’t need to be a pleb, just get yer cheque book oot.
