Well done to John, Paul, the team and the fans for making this a brilliant Valentine's Day gift thought Bene had a great game but Hendry's goal got him MOM. Happy days indeed

Back to the important stuff, Rovers had a great team game, they all fought for one another, all must be knackered at the end. Well done to you all, onwards and upwards

Hope McGlynn sets the team up to have a go, none of this defensive pish. Would rather get dubbed 4-0 than sit back and defend all game. Who knows Cup games have a habit of springing surprises, depends on which Rovers team turns up of course

What a game that turned out to be, would have taken a draw before the game with us having half a team but first half they certainly played East Fife off the park. Second half we sat back and that let the Fife back in the game. Bringing our subs on definitely changed the tempo and we ended up with an excellent fifth goal, the icing on the cake. Well done to the team and the management team for the result today made a lot of moaning Rovers supporters very happy

Tomorrow is the 27th November and it's 25 years to the day when the mighty Raith beat Celtic to win the League Cup. Probably the greatest day in the history of our club.
Let's go back in time and celebrate again this fantastic achievement. The whole match will be shown live tomorrow in the Raith Suite from 7pm.
We are expecting a good turnout and spaces are limited so get down early!!0 -
The Raith Suite will be open from 6pm this evening to allow fans to watch the Scotland v Kazakhstan game - kick off 7:45.
I know it's a "school night" but we were delighted when nearly 40 people attended on Saturday for the match against Cyprus. Hopefully if people are going out to watch the game they will come to Stark's Park.0 -

I don't think there's a reason to fear any of the remaining teams although I'd hate to lose to the u21s. We've every chance of winning this cup now.
Well thats killed our chances now

The Raith Suite will be open from noon on Saturday for fans to watch the Scotland v Cyprus game. Kick off is at 2pm.
If you are considering going down to the pub to watch this then come along to Stark's Park and support Scotland and at the same time support the Rovers!!
Let's get the Raith Suite buzzing with anticipation of a Scotland win.
Free pies at half time!!
So what's not to like. Scotland on the telly. Cheap beer in the Raith Suite and free pies at half time.
You would be mad to go anywhere else!!!

Looking forward to hearing the excuses from him later. And the quality entertainment from some of their fans. From what I have seen of Falkirk over two games, this league will be a two horse race between yourselves and East Fife
Long way to go yet, Falkirk might bite the bullet and get rid of McKinnon who knows

Thought we were the better team in the second half, two golden opportunities to score but didn't happen for us. Glad Davo got MOM he well deserved it, cleared everything that came his way. If we'd had our full team out that would have been a walk in the park but considering our injuries I'll take a point. Spoke with Regan and he's still waiting on a scan, fingers crossed. On a brighter note Grant Anderson should be back next week. Early days in the league (East Fife supporters take note)

Think its going to be £12 and £6

Its 11 v 11 at the end of the day and I'm more than sure John McGlynn has his tactics worked out. Wasn't pretty to watch against Forfar but we got the end result. COYR, we can do this, believe as Big Marv used to say

Right all you Raith Rovers brainboxes!! The 200 Club annual quiz is being held this Friday 29th March at 7pm. They are still looking for a few more teams of 4 persons. It's only £10/team to enter and this also includes a buffet. The questions are tailored to suit all abilities so don't think that you can't take part. This is very much a fun evening and if your team is victorious you will win a case of beer and a fantastic genuine real simulated silver trophy. More importantly you will have bragging rights over the other teams for a whole year.
There will also be a raffle with all proceeds going to Raith Rovers.
Get in touch if you wish to take part.0 -
Aren't football fans a fickle lot? They will pounce on anything which they perceive is a mistake or an error of judgement and vent their spleens overloading social media sites with vitriolic condemnations. However when the football club does something positive e.g. subsidising buses to the Hibs game is this met with pages of congratulatory messages? No chance.
This is a fantastic gesture from Raith Rovers which has resulted in a lot of extra work for the office staff and volunteers. £5 return to Edinburgh, on a day when public transport will be under severe pressure, ensuring our fans will be able to attend the game with the minimum of hassle should be universally applauded.
Well done the Rovers!!!

Twelve months!? Or twelve matches?
One seems excessive, the other seems outrageous! He was given a one match ban which he appealed. It will now go to a hearing in Glasgow and he fully expects to receive a two match ban.

Ah well another few weeks of hearsay, innuendo and plain shite being spouted about the reasons for Smiths departure. Roll on the appointment of a new lamb to the slaughtersee how long it takes until he/she (now that would be a first) gets slagged off for not playing the right players in the right formation and not having a plan B when the team are losing

Where exactly in my post does it suggest that I want anything other than a leisurely stroll to the title for the Honest Men?
However we don’t have to act like fucking twats to the opposition do we?You seem like a decent sort of football supporter. The kind of person I could enjoy a post match pint with no matter the score. We need more like you in football.

Still fail to acknowledge the 200 clubs extremely generous 10 k donation on the official website
2 hours ago, Typicalrovers said:The club gives acknowledgment or thanks to no one in my experience. New sponsors come but then go when they get pissed off at how they are treated.
Not actually the case. The 200 Club has received several messages from the Raith board thanking them for their donation. A photo opportunity for the official website is planned also.

Not quite sure why you would describe this as "dross".

I dont know the exact figure but he is on a good wage! What i want to know is how the hell he is given so much power at the club.
Jeez!! tThis is getting tedious!! What power are you talking about!! Drysdale has a vote as a member of the Board of Directors. That is all. Decisions taken by the Boards are taken collectively.

Raith Rovers vs Clyde

Good solid three points for us today even though Clyde were the better team overall. Unfortunate that Montrose didn't score their penalty against Falkirk but at the end of the day we have to win our games and not rely on other teams beating the teams around us. Since coming back from injury Thomson has been making some great saves, last week at Patrick and this week clawing away a ball that I'm sure Goodwullie thought was going in. This Rovers team seems to have the ability to dig deep and grind out a win, keep it up lads
