They would be my preferred winners in the whole play-offs shebang as their average attendance is the lowest of the three Championship teams, by a margin. I reckon Raith & Partick could make a decent go if promoted and County will likely be challenging for 10th/11th spot again if they manage to stay up. I'd love to see the Fakes go down as they have the potential to reinvigorate themselves especially if they can get rid of Levein although that may be expensive as mentioned on their thread.

    Mon the Diamonds!

Do we want an other plastic pitch in the top league ?

Thistle for me for a day out in the city  🍺

Great news with Gogic, Robinson clearly rates him, has effectively built that defence around him, and Gogic looks like he's loving his time with us just now.

I wonder if it was the length of contract that swayed him, as that does seem quite long (..madam!). I could be wrong here (I often am!) but wasn't the last time we put out a 3 year contract was to Brophy.

Brophy was a walking sick note.

Gogic up to now, have never had a problem playing in every game he been picked for.

Hard to mention individuals without focussing on the colossus that is Gogic…

But both Strain and Baccus showed real class today.

Such a shame we didn’t have them available for the whole season as I think with those two guys, even VAR wouldn’t have stopped us being above Killie.

I would hope someone stick a bit of paper in front of him with him thinking it as for an autograft to sign, where instead it is a contract for the next 2 yrs.

In all honesty and without picking on Dundee specifically, it's nonsense that there isn't a cash gate announced well in advance. A few folk, esspecially the older generation, get irritated at the whole online ordering process. A pet hate of mine in the post covid world is that clubs now actively seem to make it a more complicated process to order tickets - Hibs being a prime example along with Kilmarnock who demand a valid email address and phone number for every person in the party whose ticket you order, leading me to have to enter my details repeatedly to just push through the system.

There should always be an option as standard to either walk up, place money down and walk in, or buy a ticket on site to walk in rather than such a facility only being advertised 36 hours before kick off after negotiations.

And before anyone starts, I also fully include St. Mirren in that as our process of attracting walk up fans isn't great either. Our ticket office hours are very limited and on matchday the ticket office is always queued out. I heard before that it was a police Scotland recommendation to only have ticketed turnstiles but surely it always makes sense to have at least one manned cash turnstile for those who wish to walk up. If Dundee had announced this at the start of the week, there almost certainly would have been extra folk who would have committed to going on the Saturday compared to on a Friday morning when many will have already made other plans.

Again though, we are similarly awkward, a prime example being stupidly releasing away tickets for the Killie game in sections when Kilmarnock routinely sell the full away stand out even when they're pish, much less comfortably 4th in the table.

As a old fart, i very rarely go to away games now because i can't be arse with the hassle of setting up accounts, passwords etc for all the clubs in the league.

A cash turnstiles opened for 1 hr will only cost the club £20 max.

I would disagree with you about buying on the day at home, never seen any long queue for the cabin behind the west stand, though the main stand could be different.

I’ve never understood why Buds don’t go to these games. They sing stupid songs and make stupid noises but that honestly never bothers me. I guess I just zone if out and even if I could make out their noise I would just ignore it.

I will be there but games against them are very rarely enjoyable due to our lack of good results against them.

1 other reason,  have we ever played them at 3pm on a Sat at home since we moved ground ?

Sunday early k/o times doesn't help either.

Surely Killie would have made St Mirren aware we would sell it out considering tickets were only being made available to season ticket holders and even then on a first come first served basis with no general sale.

You shouldn't  need to tell us. since your fans been filling the stand for years.

    Weird 🤔

I'm now dreading playing Celtic on the 15th May at Rugby Park when I think it is likely if they win they will then win the league that night, as I fully expect them to beat Rangers the previous weekend.

Nothing worse than either of the bigots winning the league at your own ground.

    Tell me about it  😭

Does anyone know when the Rangers statement is being released condemning Clement’s lack of professionalism when he neglected the time honoured tradition of shaking hands with his Ross County counterpart at the end of the game?

Every other manager should d the same to him for the rest of the season.

No manners and a total lack of respect from him.

Oh and no points either 🤣

Hopefully our season doesn't just fizzle out. We've not really laid a glove on Celtic or Rangers this season, will likely need to go to Tynecastle and Dens, and McInnes seems to have Robinson's number. So, I'm not overly confident of picking up a lot of points.

Nothing will take away from it being another excellent season, but I'm not going to lie I'll be a bit passed off if Dundee end up above us.

7 games against them this season with 1 goal scored for us.

I expect to always get beat by them, but it would be nice to score the odd goal against them.

  10. Since i expect no points today, the Dons beating Dundee and Hibs drawing with Motherwell would give us a 4 points advantage over Hibs going into the last 5 games.  Would like Hibs in the top 6 with us since our record against them this season is good.

All assuming the blue bigots beat Dundee next week or whenever it is played.
