  1. Its, obviously, too late to start hitting any panic buttons. However, if we dont pick up anything from Morton on Saturday or Dumbarton the following Saturday - both tough games coming after even tougher midweek matches - and Livy continue their "revival" we could easily find ourselves a couple of points behind at the bottom of the table with the first quarter nearly complete.

Higgins should be available, a red for two bookings isnt an automatic ban. Im guessing Durnan is too, as I dont think he'll have got more than a one match ban. Of course the rules changed last season, so I could be totally wrong!

What, already? :unsure2: It's never too late for a good panic :P

  2. I think it is indeed very good. Leaving aside pre-season tournies, I can only think of one defeat, although I've a feeling there's one or two more. The only defeat I've seen was against Ayr in the Challenge Cup. It made me smile when I watched the action back yesterday, to hear Ian McCall saying what he always told players in these circumstances, because he was our boss for the only defeat I remember.

it was up there withGus McPherson commenting on what he'd change, during our win at Ibrox.

McCall said he advises his players to decide what they're going to do and then not change their minds. So, did Andy Thomson change his mind? If not, then McCall doesn't know what he's talking about right enough :P

Due to a couple of issues with the video recording of last night's meeting (operator-error as well as a lighting issue) you can listen to the audio-only file of the 38-minute Q&A session.

The questions that were answered are listed below:

Q1 (to Allan) : What did you say last week that got you sent to the stand?

Q2 : Defensively from corners do you feel there's room for improvement?

Q3 : Do you have any intentions of adding to the current squad in January? If so, for what areas of the team?

Q4 : Could we be doing with a bit of height in our team as the long balls are pointless?

Q5 (to Crawford and Andrew) : The team seems to be a lot fitter and has better stamina this season, would the sports scientist and physio like to comment on what we're doing that's changed that about?

Q6 : Do we need a bigger squad come the January transfer window to clinch the championship and are the board going to back it?

Q7 : Do you think we can keep our unbeaten run going for the rest of the season?

Q8 : Are you worried about the different pitches - we've still got to play on a plastic pitch at some stage? Is it a big change to switch to that surface?

Follow-ups : Would we mind playing the Challenge Cup Final on a plastic pitch? What do the physios think of the plastic pitches?

Q9 : Regarding the lack of a goalkeeping coach: Goalkeeping is a specialised position which surely requires specialised coaching?

Q10 (to Sandy) : Given the current state of our game at international level what, if anything, do you think can be done at grassroot level to improve this?

Q11 (to Andrew) : You seem to focus quite a lot on cool-down for players, how does that help with fitness and injury-prevention?

    Presentation to Sandy.

Q12 (to Allan) : is there a big difference in what the French were doing while you were playing there to what we're doing here now?

    Q13 : regarding red cards for player-managers

Q14 (general enquiry) : When a goalkeeper is taking a goal kick why do all the players of both teams go to the one side of the park?

Q15 : Are we already in talks with some of our players regarding their contracts?

Q16 : Next week we are playing "slightly weaker" opposition, will we get the chance to see some of the young boys (eg Slattery) who've not played this season?

Q17 : (referring to last week's ref) Are QOS going to raise an official complaint re the poor standard of refereeing we appear to be seeing?

Q18 : Have the heart monitors (supplied by the Trust) been beneficial?

  4. Just got round to trying this just now and it doesn't seem to be any different to be honest.

Dougie, have any of them played OK for you? Does the last one that worked still work? I only ask because I saw a comment someone made that suggested it's a problem that arose with this season's videos. I'm fairly sure that I'm making them the same way, just would like to double-check.
