  1. Totally agree with you there. I'd like to see both sides of an argument, but when Livi have just signed Robbie Winters, I'm flabbergasted
  2. Everything is their fault. Wasps. Derren Brown. That Chemical spill on the M8 today. Arsene Wenger
  3. As you're from Cowdenbeath, I'll hazard a guess the answer is "seven"? So that's one creditor to every three fans? Or two creditors to every three season tickets? Livi really are fucked. Or, at least, would be if they played in any other council area in the UK. Has anyone approached Private Eye about the Livi figures? Their "Rotton Boroughs" column (about corruption in local government) may be interested
  4. Very sensible stuff - impressed Good to see a Chairman use the word "bummer" too
  5. It's not that he *wants* to, it's that he's stuck paying for full time players on old contracts he didn't get punted before the "window" closed - plus the bizarre Robbie Winters signing. You might as well say "The Scottish tourist board want to continue having pish weather". He's stuck paying full time First Division wages in the Third - he can pretend all he wants that this was all part of his cunning plan though I dunno, Swampy always seems happy
  6. Ooooh, now there's a thought - since Livi were the most SPL2 club out there, *if* SPL2 existed and they were in it - what would happen if their financial "difficulties" came to light in SPL2?
  7. ...it's be all of the aliases created by a certain someone
  8. I'd argue that Livi's "crime" is greater. With Hamilton, it was the players who refused to play, so you can't entirely blame the club's management. Whereas the decision not to play the Shire was obviously sanctioned by the Livi board
  9. Bet they're glad they didn't do anything foolish, like sign Robbine Winters on an eexpensive contract
  10. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the First Division... Hibbee Jibbee will know the answer - he knows all the answers
  11. Presumably Cowden and Airdrie will be able to appeal against the decision if they don't like it (as innocent parties in this affair)? And then re-appeal again?
  12. Very true - I'd be careful flinging shite if I were the "Livi Five"
  13. ...I don't imagine finding some "brand new" posters posting on Livi threads will help - seems strangely familiar to waht was happening at Berwick a year or two ago - funny that..
  14. I was going to try borrowing some cash from the RBS, but I think I might see if I can borrow money straight from West Lothian Council instead - the Cooncil that like to say YES
  15. The odd thing is that he's benefitted Cowden considerably by buggering off to Livi and (by getting them demoted) you suddenly get a promotion out of it
  16. He's a long way to go until he reaches Swampy standards, mind
  17. I hope there's space at Almondvale for them to park their tractor?
  18. Probably April, at this rate... Hamilton were fined fifteen points a few years ago for the players being on "strike" - this is a more serious crime (it was the club's fault, not the players fault). However, I guess (as PLL says) the SFL can't dock them points until it's confirmed what league they should be in. With a twenty point deduction, they'll still be above Nanna in a couple of months though
  19. The "Club X" reference is about Annan Nanna, not Livi - don't worry!
  20. We all know you did... Well, there *was* a story on the BBC today about those nasty Livi folks making Dominic Keane homeless http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/edinbu...ast/8220550.stm I think (o)sean is having the "ultimate bash" all by himself, from the sounds of his comment above
