Was in Hospitality before the Hibs Raith Rovers cup game that season and Terry Butcher was very complimentary to the Rovers before the game saying his coaching spell there restored his faith in football but that Hibs were on the up and we had no chance. Let him know I had £20 on Rovers win and he said he'd come back for a drink on me if it came in. We won, he didn't come back and the slow decline to relegation started. Get a bit of the same vibe with Warnock and Aberbeen so may put £20 on Killie this weekend.

Why not, what about at 65k? Is there no upside here?
Not sure mate. Wouldn’t want to give financial advice.

How much are you investing at $67k?

Bojan will be fine. Couple of quieter games (which good strikers will have) but he'll be back scoring soon enough.
Warnock said he was the best striker he'd ever worked with. Then a couple of comments in the following next week or two about him missing a chance due to a heavy touch and losing his man at a corner, which aren't really remotely controversial comments to make in the context or critiquing a team performance - but much of our support seem to have a huge heads gone about him being thrown under a bus as a result.
Miovski is one of the most overrated players in the league for years tbh. Misses loads of sitters. As an honest Hibernian fan, Shankland is levels above.

Get a remote job and you can do both.

Hibs manager is a total w**k who you wouldn’t want to be stuck with on a night out. I prefer Derek Adams, don’t know who’ll last the longest to be fair.

No unfortunately my yield farming days are behind me, I just use Aave, Curve and Synthetix (contracts that have lasted a long time on Ethereum therefore have more reliable security) these days.
Even though it means less airdrops and yield, its just naturally what happens after being through a few cycles. I wouldn't be surprised if by next cycle I am only exposed to ETH.
I did get a Lil Pudgy though a while back which is a nice little airdrop currently 1 ETH
How are you getting on? You probably do more crypto researching than me these days, what are the main trends you are noticing?
I've pretty much just been farming airdrops since March, should have listened to you before Arbitrum but missed out. Should be well positioned for ZRO, Zksync, Starknet and a heap of others though, obviously not expecting all to deliver.
Added a decent chunk of SOL near the lows so thats going well. Seems like the next year could be fun.

Very hard to like his reserved public persona you mean? I think most people would like him in real life away from the spotlight.
Nah.
Reporter: "It's good for you to kick off the tournament against the hosts isnt it?"
Clarke: "Why?"

Steve Clarke being a proper miserable b*****d after that draw. Very hard to like him.

Again, Aberdeen have surprised in this competition. But for some bad luck and losing a few bad goals, could have done even better.
Perhaps Aberdeen should demand to play foreign teams every week.
Failing to win a single game is a surprise tbf.

Not even Hibsing it - Hibs inflict their own unexpected and often hilarious self-injuries. Aberdeen were shafted by the ref and VAR last night, plain and simple.
I doubt we'll see a more blatant penalty not given this season - even at Celtic Park or Ibrox.
So its purely down to the ref that they lost after being 2-0 up on 70 minutes?
Classic P&B. If Hibs do that its a bottle job, anyone else its someone else's fault

Reports that João Felix is only being paid €400k annually as part of his move to Barcelona.
The pull they have on players, even when the team isn't that good, is quite extraordinary. I can't think of anything else like it in world football, and he's not the first. Dani Alves did it to come back, countless other players took salary cuts and De Jong repeatedly turned down Man Utd to stay. Gundogan turned down reigning European champions to move.
No one more box office than them.
Real Madrid have far more pull.

Hopefully we will have the game wrapped up by the time Piovski gets his penalty.

Well, I'm gonna give you another one, and you might laugh at me, right? I'm gonna give you another one: Philip John Neville.
I'm not going to laugh. I'm speechless.

What Hibs need, more than anything else, is a top-class operator. If they get a top-class operator, they will be fine. Obviously it would be nice to have a proper football man, but the key to success nowadays is having a top-class operator.
I agree, but if we do go down the "football man" route, I was just thinking out loud there, imagine we appointed "Super" Frankie Lampard. You might not describe him as an "operator" as such, but his experience and contacts in the game are without question. I'm just thinking about how much young Josh Campbell would learn from him about making those late runs into the box. All of a sudden that's 10-15 goals added from midfield.
"But Frank's teams concede too many goals" I hear you say. Fear not, because that's where his right hand man comes into play. None other than John Terry. If you cut him open, I''m pretty sure he'll bleed concrete. He would sort out that defence in no time.
A side-benefit could be the special relationship we could strike up with Chelsea. We all know they have too many players, so I was just looking at some of their squad who have yet to register any minutes this season. Badiashile has struggled since he's come in so could potentially bring him in to get some experience. Then you've got young Romeo Lavia, who is surely not ready for their first team yet. Get him in to compete with Jeggo for that starting defensive midfield berth and you've got a right good set-up full of beans.
