Mixed feelings as a decent addition to the squad however if Elvis will not play him its dead money on wages. I would prefer another striker coming in as a direct replacement

I fear you could be right. Its early pre season and we have scored 6 however with Stewart, Finnegan and Deuchar gone along with Flynn pretty much gone ( still hoping we can hold onto McManus) you have to wonder who our regular, recognised goal scorer will be. Heres hoping we have a fan wins the lotto between now and August and injects mega bucks...... Messi would do for starts!!!!

I do not know much about Bowman however loosing 5 against United does not fill me full of confidence. I would like to see a realiable keeper brought in asap and anything else is a bonus. Yes goals wins games however conseeding them will make it even tougher to get results.

You make a decent point re Pressleys negative tactics and stats do not lie however I seem to recall sitting in horror ( as probably you were ) watching Ryan Flynn miss from 6 yards at Kilmarnock. Would keeping us up have given you a different opinion of Pressley? My defence of the man is on the assumption he drops this 1 attacker crap and puts out a team that look like they want to play for the club.

FFS will you please stop trying to pick a fight. My original post a few pages back was not merely at the ability of the manager. McColl and Jeffries were not poor managers when it came to their management skills it was supposed to be directed to how they left the club. I blame neither for going to bigger clubs but the way in which they went about it. For the record I do not like Pressley and he does come across as an arrogant twat however I think the job to save us from relegation was virtually impossible. He has not done well this season - his first full one however I get the impression the club felt they can not afford better and no I do not know what he earns before you fling this back at me. McIntyre was not a proven or from what it appears well liked by the fans however his appointment and the time he was given has now reaped the rewards for DFC. Come December if Pressley has not improved the performances I will be one of the 1st to be calling for his head.
