That was rank rotten today. I’d say I’ll be happy to see the back of a lot of this squad but who knows where we are with recruitment any replacements. Not convinced it’s Levein and Kirk we need next season, and definitely don’t think Kirk is ready to step up based on these performances.

Braw, could be the type of confidence killing moment that fucks them.

70 fucking minutes, most of which was watching Livingston players stroll towards a ball and pull their socks up 8 times on the way, or watching Obileye roll about clutching his face before jumping up just before the physios were called.
Genuinely think its the worst game of football ive ever sat through.
What’s a “typical” amount of dead time in a Saints game this season, or more generally?
Expanding on the “worst game” theme… I pretty much always stay until the final whistle, have sat through some pathetic defeats to see them through, but yesterday I gave serious though to just going home just after the hour mark it was that dire.

That was pish. Fans who don't regularly attend but were there for the bring a pal deal today? They'll no be back.
We have some right shite footballers on the books.
We do this all the time. Get a few extra folk along who aren’t regulars then utterly stink the place out.

That was an utterly dreadful game of football. Both sides dreadful, ref dreadful, pitch dreadful.
Goal was out of nowhere and I expected the VAR check to screw us.

Aberdeen failing to cope with our physicality and a rampant Stevie May.
You had me thinking he’d scored

Thought Saints were dreadful second half. All I’m seeing from Kimpioka is that he’s faster than any of our other options. Not particularly convinced by DJ up front, either.
The ball spent a lot of time in the air, which suited Motherwell more than us - we just don’t win those balls. Thought we looked better on Wed night when the ball was kept down more.

It speaks volumes that Davidson didn't get a job down south on the back of the double season. Guys up here have achieved far less and strolled into "decent" jobs in England.
Going back to @Ludo*1’s earlier question, I think Davidson would be currently be held in much higher regard by Saints fans if he had rode off into the sunset/down south straight after the cup double.

Yes, pound. Singular.
Ah, but each Perth Pound is worth £16.67 to Dundee FC.

Small things but..
Considine pushing young Fran to have a wee moment of his own in front of the East Stand as the other players were leaving the field.
Also saw Considine encouraging Fran to acknowledge the East Stand when he was coming off. Thought he had a great game.

John Hughes has qualified for European football three times with non Old Firm teams. Has any other manager done that?
Tommy Wright.

What a difference it made when Robinson starting knocking the ball forward. Far too many passes back to Considine.

Thought yesterday it was a bit harsh substituting Parker at half time - he was not the worst centre back on display in yesterday's match.
I would persevere with him and drop Captain Gordon and replace Considine with McLelland. This parnership cannot be any worse than the one they are replacing.
It also give us the weapon of the long throw into the box and with VAR the potential to get penalties.
I was quite impressed with Parker’s long throw, he got the ball into the box at least once. Thought it may give us an option to do something with a set piece for once.

If results like this are the cost of the decade of success we’ve just had then I’ll still take that over whatever St Mirren, Hibs or Dundee saw in the same period.
That was an inexperienced starting team with a lack of leadership from the senior players and a threadbare bench. It may be ok to bleed in some of the youngsters one at a time but not all at once.
As it stands we’re going to be in trouble.

0/10 is generous for May today - absolutely devoid of ability and belief today, albeit he was robbed of going clean through by awful linesmanning.
Gordon should be ashamed of himself - given the task of seeing a young team through a meaningless game and he completely posted missing. Embarrassing stuff. Doesn't bode well if he is captain material.
Sinclair was awful for all four goals, although I wonder if the corner was turned in by Jephcott. Mitov clearly now starting GK
Some of the young lads conducted themselves pretty well in the circumstances, especially some of those which came on.
Philips was poor and complacent. Jephcott a bit useless and looks overweight. Gallacher jumpy again.
Missing (and not Crawford) was - Carey, Wright, Kane, Clark, Booth?
I can't wait to see Kane playing again.
Worst of all - the commentary
Hard to disagree with much of that. Too little leadership being shown.

Delighted with that top, based on my favourite Saints kit (and much appreciated as my replica from a few years ago seems to have shrunk in the wardrobe).

Next season’s home shirt, blue with white pin stripes and the lamb badge please

I’m working on the assumption that most of those commentators (both fans and pundits) have seen the cup double but not been watching the subsequent near two seasons on the park.
I had real hope before the World Cup break that a corner had been turned. Shame that it hadn’t.

Fotheringham was by all accounts awful at Huddersfield.

I’m sure I heard an announcement over the tannoy of a crowd in the region of 2,990.
Wasn’t at the Aberdeen game but did notice on Saturday that most of the row behind my ST seat weren’t there, and the guy that sits beside me and leaves early set a new record - 42mins.
Brought someone along who wanted to go to a game. Made the point ahead of time that it was likely to be awful. I was not wrong.

I preferred no transfer rumours. I also can’t believe I was happier when we were too tight to pay fees. Nothing against Jordan White.

Nice bit of business for them, €100k for us to have a loan of him for a year.
