  1. My better half was trying to describe an Irish sounding actor. "Keith O'Sullivan". I was confused for a bit until she told me it's "the guy who's in that 24"! She also thought the actor who played the Joker was called Keith Ledger.

I think she might be having an affair with someone called Keith.

Not from a bird but I did Int 2 Modern Studies in 4th year and after nearly a year of watching and discussing The Matrix, my mate's failed NAB had constant references to the main character "Neil".

  2. Just had the misfortune of being at a friends birthday party where her friends are the biggest collective of wankers you'd ever be unlucky enough to meet.

No wonder the girl is permanently uptight with friends like that! I felt like I was on the set Made in Chelsea where everyone was just talking at each other about themselves!

    Should have stayed in.

Always the danger with friends of friends. I mind loads of mates coming through from Edinburgh for one of our pals who was at Glasgow Uni's birthday and leaving for Sauciehall St or somewhere after about 25 mins.

  3. Anyone have any good experience and advice about job agencies in Edinburgh? Are any of them not total clown car operations? Need a bit of extra part-time work, over the next few months.

Tried going through a few of them a while back and it was a monumental pain in the arse.

Hand tats on top of the rest of the package, what an absolute twat.

He's got that expression in about forty of his recent Facebook pics.

EDIT: wait a minute, seems like the hand tat is a picture of himself. The fcuk?

The guy in the middle has the most irritating face I've ever seen.

I think I actually hate him.

  5. Pleasantly surprised so far. Thought it might be a disappointing wacky spin off but whilst it is more humurous than BB, it looks much closer to a proper drama than I was expecting. Which is definitely a good thing.

I hope they don't end up arbitrarily dropping in BB characters into Saul's life every single week. The premise of this and Bob Odenkirk have the capability of carrying a really good dark comedy/drama without it being one big nod and wink sesh between Vince Gilligan and Breaking Bad fans.

  6. That's weird, I'm completely blank on the Palazuelos McCormack thing. I mind him punching Clum up town, then spending the next game running the touchline whilst Eliot looked on the verge of tears from the abuse. It was great banter, it really was.

    Darren McCormack.

I recall many Hibs fans criticising the club for not renewing his contract, he now plays for Brechin City.

We ended up playing Wotherspoon at right-back, who was far more capable on and off the field.

Whoever thought that was/is a total idiot. He was pure jobbies.

  7. Foxcatcher (spoilerish stuff inbound)

Fantastic film and one of those that you couldn't get up from your seat with a mark out of 10 ready. The pacing seemed quite odd, which had me wondering where it was going for most of it. The first act (sort of) seemed minutes long, then you're in suspenseful build-up mode for all but the final few minutes. The pay off was worth it and the ending was stunning. Carell, Ruffalo and Tatum were all perfect for their characters. Ruffalo's one of my favourite actors on the go just now, his character's interview was one of those understatedly powerful scenes that he does as well as anyone.

I watched about half of Taken the other night. Absolutely fucking shite  His voice man  Nearly ended myself when he finds out his daughter's off following U2. Would like to see the rest of it, had a Face/Off hilariously pish quality.
