Some pretty good matches on the show. Didn't care for the brawl, it was just quite boring tbh, although I did quite like the setup they had for it. Correct decision to not have it as main event.

How far in advance was this show taped? What an odd story to go for even under normal circumstances. Not having the Bryan vs Styles IC title match at Backlash is criminal though. Suppose they wouldn't want that to upstage the greatest match of all time...

Cejudo's retirement is legit. Respect to him for going out on top. Petr Yan vs Aljo should be the vacant tile fight but Aljo appears to have taken a different fight.

MJF vs Jungle Boy, Hikaru Shida vs Nyla Rose and Jon Moxley vs Brodie Lee were all very good. Stadium match was excellent. The rest was poo to average.

What a miserable game.

You'd think both of them would have enough pull to maybe get them to tone this down quite a bit. I'd be more than happy to see them put on one of the greatest matches of all time, but it's very unlikely. Drew vs Bobby Lashley could be fine, they had a good title match in TNA. But we really haven't seen anything from Bobby in this run to suggest he's still good enough or even deserves a title shot.

Fucking hell. I usually check out his AEW review so I know if it's worth catching up on or not.
