  1. First one was a penalty due to Bisland panicking and pushing the Annan player. Second penalty is an absolute mystery, watched 3 replays and still no idea. 3rd goal is just dreadful from Bisland. Another game ticked off but we should’ve had that wrapped up

  2. Should have scored at least 3 or 4, Morrison has been really selfish but that’s why he’s scored so many this season. Goss is a handful but is being given fouls for nothing. The time wasting from Annan restarts is wild, started in the 6th minute

Not the best day at the office but a brilliant result considering the circumstances. No call for moaning about anyone today given the season and effort they’ve displayed.  Whoever that auld c**t in the main stand is who continually shouted negatives can f**k right off.

I’m convinced some folk are happier to moan in that stand, does my head in.

MacIver was getting pelters today from a continual whinger sitting near to me. Ross ran himself into the ground and has been one of our most important players but still not good enough for this guy.

I thought it was an excellent display of work rate and application from us today. Donaldson’s red card was unfortunate, raised his foot to a high ball and was then met with an onrushing Bavidge and caught him in the chest. Modern day it’s a red card despite their being any real intent to cause harm. The sound of the impact and collective wince from the crowd was enough to convince the ref it was a red

This season must be the most homogenous ever in terms of playing surfaces.

9 out of 10 sides have AstroTurf this season and at least 6 out of your last 7 have been played on the Greenfields mx surface we all use (can't find the Annan's pitch manufacturer)

It was noticeable that Cove’s pitch seemed pretty hard compared to others. Ball bouncing bigger than expected. The pitch seemed quite bare and the ball didn’t seem to slow on it.

Old enough to remember that day at Clydebank (trying to convince my dad to run on the pitch at the end, being so excited about shaking Brian Rice's hand), and home vs Meadowbank as well (Stainrod up on a table). Some of my best memories as a wee boy - hope there are lots of kids get the same this season.

I was the same, my first season of going every week and didn’t realise how special it was! Now 33 years later and my son is the same age and now absolutely hooked, it’s been brilliant to share the same emotions with him

  6. I can’t really see him going to Northern Ireland. The top two teams are Linfield and Larne who have a cast of ex lower Championship and league one players from Scotland. The wages don’t seem to be life changing. Is it worth uprooting to Belfast for one potential champions league qualifier match? He’s got a young family to consider. I’d be really surprised if he chose that move. He could easily go to lower league in England and earn a couple of grand a week which could well be life changing for him. He deserves a decent move and I hope he’s being advised accordingly. The similar situation was Declan MacManus, he was offered £3k a week to go to Wales, he was never going to be able to turn that down

  7. Got to disagree about Hendo, having witnessed how bad he was at centre half last season and even Edinburgh last week. He’s just not a centre half, he’s too light and gets knocked about. He’s much better in the middle. Mackie should be sufficient however he looks miles off being fit enough to play
