Rory Loy sounds close to tears as he talks about Rangers toiling tonight.

Quite the take from someone who couldn’t make a chip shop a viable business in Scotland.

Robert Muirhead is a joke.

Anti-Irish racist hauls opponent to the ground with a wrestling move right in front of the referee in the box. Yellow card. Yellow card, play on.

Morton are a hilarious mess.
Which is nice.

Moult has Baird on strings.

Reading this thread is infinitely more entertaining than actually listening to Sportsound.

Big big day of Scoddish football and an afternoon of HIGH drama expected. Will the Dindee game go ahead? But first, let’s talk about VAR and that big big game tomorrow at Ibrix.

Man, that's deep stuff, thanks Derek. He's truly a great football philosopher of our times, is DA. Definitely not just a guy who has a cringey quote to hand which he thinks makes him look clever.
If he gets another gig then I suggest "Live, Laugh, Love" after the inevitably rapid sacking.

Her being 17 shouldn’t make her immune from criticism, though. It was terrible.
Barton wasn't offering any constrictive or legitimate criticism. He was punching down and inciting misogynistic hatred for attention because he's a worthless scumbag.

Goodwin is so hopeless that if he was trying to throw the league on purpose, they would end up winning it.

Looking through a Twitter thread I started last year charting my favourite boozers in Scotland - here are some of my entries:
Ayr: Wee Windaes, Smugglers & Bridges Bar.
Greenock: Green Oak and The Willow.
Glasgow: Denholms, Herraghty's, Allison Arms & McChuills
Edinburgh: Thomsons', Jinglin' Geordie, Joker & The Theif
Dundee: Pheonix, Trades, Tickety Boo's, Ladywell Tavern, & Hill Bar.

Morton fans just can’t help themselves when it comes to us. We keep slapping them down and putting them in their place, but they keep coming back for more.
We have absolutely broken them, again.

The little remaining faith I had in this team and in Doolan turning this around finally evaporated after Tuesday’s dire performance.
Things are now so bad that it isn’t just the perennial disappointments like Williams and Muirhead letting us down, our best players - Lawless, McMillian and Fitzpatrick have regressed at an alarming rate. We’re mentally fragile and don’t look anywhere near fit enough to carry out the sort of intensity our manager wants us to play at.
A game against a team like Morton who love to fire the ball aggressively into the box at any given opportunity is the last thing we need. They’ll have a field day. I’m just glad I won’t be there to witness it.
Genuinely at the stage where I’m not bothered at our inevitable tumble out of the play-off positions. It would only be prolonging the inevitable.

For us its just a question of whether we blow a 2 goal lead or start playing once we're 2 down. We cannot defend and we cannot be trusted to control a game for 90 mins.

“Lawrence Shankland - yer a w****r” offensive enough to merit an apology from the commentator. Yet to hear them call out the billy boys when Rangers are playing.

This gang are going to cripple Shankland for the Euros, aren’t they.

He didn't "get injured." He was deliberately taken out by Taylor-Sinclair but I'm sure you knew that.

6 hours ago, Alibi said:I’m hoping Oakley is back in time for our next visit to Airdrie. I’d like to see him put that hyphenated p***k in hospital. Apart from assaulting Oakley, Taylor-Sinclair also should have seen red for his aerial assault on Crawford.
A hero from our legendary 2012/13 team still sticking the boot into Morton over a decade later.

Ibrox, Parkhead and Starks Park.
There used to be some horrendous bogey grounds for us during my 30 years or so following Thistle.
Think we went about 20 years without winning at McDiarmid Park, then we couldn’t stop winning once we broke the hoodoo. Rugby Park since it became an all seater was similar.

Tan Cowan attempted to start a meaningful conversation about the teams competing in the Championship play-offs, only for Cosgrove to butt in and launch into another irrelevant monologue about St Johnstone.
