British writer perhaps? In Chicago the train lines are just named after colors and there’s a Brown Line. You’d think that’d get called the skidmark if it was in the local parlance, but I’ve never heard it. It’s open day at the school this morning, I can ask my kid’s new teacher.
Always thought if the Strata Building was in Scotland it would be nicknamed "The Fanny Tower"

He'll be slumming it in League 1 at Falkirk
He'd be the latest in a long line of players we've let go and said "ach, he should do a job in the league below" only to go to Falkirk and not do a job in the league below

Thanks, that makes two embarrassments
Naw really. Last year was the first year there was any promotion/relegation to the HL and the tiers below got joined on fairly late in the day so not really much time to amend the issue. On top of that there were only two (or three, maybe?) clubs in the tier below who were licensed. In the end only one won their league and, as they were up against Fort William anyway, the play off was a foregone conclusion. Whether the HL had three automatic relegation spots or one play off only Banks O'Dee were ever coming up anyway. Even now there's a good chance that none of the league winners below will be licensed this year.

I know a lass who married a Dalziel and has the "yogh" on her passport now rather than the Z.

I'm not even sure what 'type' of midfielder Lyon is anymore. As VT said I thought he was gonna be an Allan Jenkins style, box-to-box midfielder, who dragged the team forward with the ball. He's not really shown that's his game in a long time. Is he being asked to do things he's naw capable of and is now a square peg in a round hole? If so it's a bit weird to give him a 2 year deal knowing he didn't fit into Imrie's style.

I don’t recall that.
I recall saying that I found it’s definition of the term to be fair.
Their definition is fair but when they use it it's wrong.

As you know, I know how links work.
Feel free to address my comments.
Also, I thank the person who shall remain nameless that PM'd me, saying that although they don't agree with what I say, the abuse I take isn't merited.
That person also sounds like a c**t

Sorry, idiot, I was referring to you. The fact I quoted you should have made it clear.
I know we've already had to hold your hand through a lot of simple things like "how links work" but you should understand how the quote function works by now.

Didn't actually realise they linked to articles, but I thank you for the usual charm we've all come to expect from you
Authoritarianism - The Independent probably isn't the best source if you seek credibility. Nevertheless, the accusations of authoritarianism simply don't hold water. The tweet in question just expressed opinion that GOP voters want loyalty to Trump.
Ultra Nationalism - Nothing in that link suggests she's an ultra nationalist. Look up the definition of the term and you'll see what I mean.
Chauvinism - How does her agreement with biological reality make her a chauvinist?
Xenophobia - You'd be doing well to explain this one, as all I can see are negative comments about illegal immigration.
Theocratic - At no stage does she call for a theocracy.
Racism - You're seriously claiming "So I'm walking around and seeing some good people and I see white people, Black people, brown people, yellow people,”is racist?! That appears to be the premise of the article.
Homophobia - At no one was anything negative about homosexuals or homosexuality said.
Transphobia - All she did was attack Dr Levine for (insert pronoun here)'s stance on entering sports of the opposing sex and have harmful treatment at such a young age. Any right thinking person would feel the same.
Reactionary - I'll give you that.
I'm now of the conclusion that you didn't even read these links properly yourself.
None so blind, eh?

The floor is yours to explain why these labels apply to MTG.
If you need a grown up to click the links for you and explain what the big words mean just say so

Aye, I’d say it’s probably a good one, Asim. What are your thoughts?
It’s one you can’t apply to the ten people listed in the Daily Kos article.
Maybe the author(s) of the Wikipedia piece are just trolls, idiots and c***s?
I think it's a decent, generic descriptor. Such a shame it clearly applies to MTG

Even the wikipedia definition shows something wildly different to what's said on here, and pretty much aligns with what I laid out in orange text on page 171 of this thread.
"Far-right politics, also referred to as the extreme right or right-wing extremism, are politics further on the right of the left–right political spectrum than the standard political right, particularly in terms of being authoritarian and ultra-nationalist, as well as having nativist ideologies and tendencies.[1]

So you think the wiki definition of far-right is fair?

You’ll need to provide evidence of these claims, Asim, and I’m unsure as to why advocating Christian Nationalism makes one far-right anyway.
What I won’t be doing is lowering myself to your level in terms of personal insults. You should know that by now.
What's the point? Any evidence posted you pretend isn't evidence. Because you're an idiot. Or c**t. Or both.

As promised the goals. With apologies to Seagrave, for some reason I thought she scored the first two, it was her who scored the lob

I don't know them all, but the idea that MTG is far-right is David Icke stuff.
You're a fucking idiot or a c**t.
Probably both.
MTG has called for the execution of political opponents, the mass deportation of Chinese people, said Muslims should not be allowed to hold political office and called for Christian nationalism in the US.
How far to the right do you have to be to see that even Mussolini would be asking her to tone it down?10
