He only played 168 minutes of football Are you seriously slamming his goalscoring record last season?
'Scoring goals' would mean scoring more than one goal.
Sorry if this offends.

I don't think there's any chance that Preston would take a 7 figure hit on a player who was out with a bad injury. They'll give him a chance to prove himself and indeed was getting back to fitness and scoring goals end of the season. He scored one goal last season.

Got to question the attendances as well, best fitba I've Aberdeen play in 30 years yet crowds are down by 1000. Even if McInnes doesn't go to Sunderland he may leave club because his budget is not going to increase with less crowds.
Prices up, less to play for, and a terrible economic situation in the city.
The fact that we might give Motherwell a doing isn't enough to get people to part with their cash.0 -
I notice folk on Twitter talking about Aberdeen trying to get Dons fans to donate money. Anyone know what that's about?
They want to set up a direct debit system that fans pay in to every month to fund the playing budget/stadium.
George Yule isn't happy that crowds went down this season and wants the fans to spend even more of their money to watch an uncompetitive league.0 -

You lot are fucked if you do lose a few of your players because we've got no one decent for you to sign
Still think that you will have a go for Meekings and I've long said that you need a horrible b*****d like Draper in the middle of the pitch. I doubt we'd ask for much for him either now we're down. Both would improve Aberdeen a lot.Draper is an effective hatchet man, but an absolute donkey when he has the ball. Wouldn't suit our team at all.

The site is entirely within the bounds of Aberdeen City, but most of the objectors are in the Shire.

McGinn's main concern will be whether or not the women of Edinburgh will be as tolerant of his affection for sock sniffing.

One of those libraries filled with loud, angry people.
They certainly weren't very loud.

What if McGinn wants to play infront of full houses every week in a beautiful city instead of 10 seagulls in an derelict oil field?
As evidenced on Friday night, you could pack Tynecastle with as many fans as you want and it would still be a library full of fat, red-faced roasters,

I'm going to miss walking to the game with my mates, going to pubs along the way, but if this is the only way the club can develop then I'm all for it.

Why are the stands reduced in height? Shite idea.

I also wonder where Aberdeen got the idea for a museum and memorial garden when looking at "best in class facilities in stadia across the UK and Europe"?
It's something that has been planned since the 90s, mate.

That new stadium looks every bit as shit as we all knew it would be. It's something you'd expect of a new franchise club - a bit like Livi's ground, really. In the middle of nowhere too. Ooft.
Must be brutal knowing that's your future when you look at the likes of a finished Tynecastle and Easter Road in the heart of our nations capital.
Tynecastle would be good if it wasn't a library0 -
There's one image of the inside where you can barely see anything and people are losing their shit. I'll see what else comes out before I make a judgement.

Good set of results for us this weekend, Celtic aside.

I'm not sure if that figure includes just the players or all staff. Rangers' first team wage bill for last season was similar to that figure with their total staff costs being double that. If our figure is just the playing squad then it is possible that we were paying similar wages last season to what you were in the Championship.
However, according to Rangers' accounts, your playing budget has increased by 60% this season which would completely dwarf what we're paying.Aberdeen's wage bill includes all staff and, I think, Directors.

Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me about what i wanted them to say.
It was never explicitly said, but I felt that the club implied several times that winning the league was an ambition.

Also worth mentioning the club never made any noise about going for the league, McInnes made a point of not mentioning it.True, but it's frustrating after Milne's 'tooling up' shite.

It's too soon to judge. Teams have slow starts. Shit happens.
