  1. Of course, I'm not saying we definitely won't sign him but if he's looking at Aberdeen, who's current first choice right back is in the team of the season and just signed a new deal, he might prefer a move that would allow him more game time.
  2. It's called players not wanting to move to sit on the bench playing the same level of football.
  3. Signing other teams' regular starters is going to be a hard sell if they aren't guaranteed starts for Aberdeen.
  4. Cupped his ears to the South Stand and did a wee fist pump.
  5. He got a bit of abuse from the South about 5 minutes before he scored and rightly gave some back.
  6. That was posted on Mad, I think. Doubt we'd sign Gordon if we've got Logan tied down though.
  7. Embarrassing is totally missing the point of my post tbh.
  8. That's not what I said. I'm saying that expecting any sort of real challenge is stupid when Celtic are so far ahead of every other team.
  9. A draw once the season is over isn't much to shout about. Aberdeen and Motherwell are the only teams to beat them this season, it would take something miraculous for a team of Aberdeen's depth to win the league given that fact.
  10. You have to admit that it's not possible for one team to win the league if they're the only club laying a glove on their rivals.
  11. He's 28 and contracted until 2018, I'd imagine any fee we'd accept would be too much to justify paying for a player his age.
  12. Would be nice to win just so septic don't win the title against us.
  13. Could complement Taylor well. McInnes said after the St. Johnstone game that he felt that Taylor's physicality is a big part of how we win games, so maybe a more technical, ball-playing centre half alongside him would work well. On many occasions this season we've been struggling to build any play from the back with Taylor and Reynolds taking turns to hoof it forward.
  14. In a way I enjoy going to the football without the pressure of needing the team to win. Providing they don't turn in performances like last night, that is.
  15. The 'big fuss' is that when he is on form he is a very, very good player.
  16. Another anaemic performance last night, just waiting for the season to finish at this point. On a positive note, I'm glad McInnes spoke about the lack of physicality and drive in the team in his post-match interview as it shows that he isn't blinkered to the very obvious problems with the team. Hopefully his Summer recruitment goes better than last years which, Shinnie aside, was a total failure with no players lasting past January.
  17. Is the issue with Logan's family not that he isn't with the mother(s) of his children?
  18. I wouldn't drop McLean for any other attacking midfielder in the league right now - he's an outstanding footballer.
  19. Would rather McGovern than Cerny if we could get him. I see out alleged January transfer target Rostyn Griffiths has been released by Roda JC - will McInnes get him in for Summer?
  20. I preferred Langield to be honest, his mistakes were more spectacular but less frequent.
  21. If we want to progress we need a keeper that can come off his line and doesn't make mistakes like the ones Brown has made in the past few weeks. Never mind being bullied by Leigh Griffiths in the games against Celtic last season or his pathetic attempt in the League Cup semi.
  22. He got a hard time last season as well - it's nothing to do with Ward, and everything to do with him being a limp-wristed fairy.
