I can assure you Stranraer don't have a benefactor. We are a member owned club, with no shares ,who elect a management committee to run the club, we now only spend what our budget allows, had quite a few televised games in the last few seasons which helped, with good management from our committee we now are stable.

Don't know his name, but 2 of our trialists were ex premier players with a lot of top flight games under their belt, about last night's game was only a friendly, but it was refreshing to see two teams keep the ball on the deck hardly any hoofball played last night. As Stranraer man I don't think there is a cooler finisher in our division than Jamie although not starting a lot last season, his goals were nearly all match winners for us , I would have started him all games, but just my opinion.
