This prompted me to go back and re-read the other thread on the subject :

Some great (and saddening photos) there.

Think it's already been confirmed elsewhere but I've been very reliably informed that Broomhill 100% voted against B teams.
Are you the chap who formerly had our Jamie as an avatar ?
In which case, you must be a decent sort. Don't get taken in by anything that those charlatans (or Cowdenb*****ds) tell you.
They are not to be trusted.

You are a very naughty boy.

Well, that's us off to Darvel. Any decent places to drink at or near the ground?
Don't know if the place is still there but the Railway Inn used to be OK Marten. They had Golden Earring on the jukebox. On repeat.
The other one would be the Black Bull. Nice friendly folk. Young chap behind the bar (named Kevin, I think) is a decent sort.
Hope you have a grand day oot.

I suspect the chap is just winding you up.

The books haven't changed much only difference was back then you paid extra for the stand which meant you had 2 tickets for a game 1 to get in the ground and 1 to get in the stand.
Three to escape early...

Ben,...we're going to ignore the vernacular language because the bloke you're talking with is sunning himself in Spain or Portugal or somewhere pleasant. I think he is mental Mick the pyramid news nutcase.
In the meantime, most of us are more concerned about the effect of the four inches of snow lying on top of the pitch.

End of thread for this week. (Unless it turns out to be a misprint, of course).

Virtually no chance of that this season.
Which is why the Meadow chap was clearly talking about next season.

Was the Knightswood game off?
Eh ?
Royal Albert 5 - 1 Knightswood
It gives the result in the post you quoted.

All the best.

Yup.
I saw Galston ammies a wee while back.
They were quite good.
Drongan were good too.
Maybe we don't need to be shelling out twenty grand (cough) for an average player. Changed days indeed.

Ever heard the Frankie Miller version of Jealous Guy ?
This is nothing to with jealousy though...more about Dear Prudence (in the financial sense) See the first few lines of what big, daft, Hovis was talking about...I can't really believe I'm agreeing with the big chap...but he is right.
For any other of our readers...TLDR.
Go to the library. Pick up some James Joyce. Less work. More punctuation.
Seriously though, I really hope that folk like Jim and his pals can pick up the pieces (AWB) after the fairweather support has gone.

Or,...and in fairness to the guy I'm completely making this up (and it is definitely not a fact), perhaps Darvel are fulfilling the terms of the remainder of his actual written contract and Gartcairn are paying him the extra that wasn't going through the books ?
Both clubs happy. Player happy. Taxman not so happy.
