  1. Bishy, I presume you know the Greenock area well? If I wanted to do a 10K, starting at the old Wellington Academy Building, where would I need to run to?
  2. Been suffering from a nasty cold since Saturday. Spent all of Sunday and Monday in bed, but was back at school today and out for a easy 2.5 mile jog tonight. This distance isn't anywhere close to a challenge but I struggled big time. I've clearly not fully recovered and have rushed my return. I'll take tomorrow off, make sure the cold has completely cleared up before trying again on Thursday.
  3. I think he still has another week or so left on his current deal, but Shiels' has informed him that he will not be needed after that, along with Stephen Stirling and Jake Nicholson.
  4. Fantastic, Rowan. An inspiration to many. Keep up the good work, mate.
  5. I have this regularly as a small afternoon snack. I would highly recommend it.
  6. @AndrewWard74 for those not already following me.
  7. The signing of O'Connor has been imminent. We've been waiting on international clearance before announcing the deal. He should be available for Saturday's trip to Dumbarton.
  8. Boxing Day run is always a tough one after the amount of food you eat on Christmas Day. Enjoyable regardless, though. Set myself a new program when running along the splash (1M): jog to the first bench, then sprint to the second, followed by ten push-ups on said bench. Do that the whole way along. Must be, easily, about 30/35 benches across the mile so it's not easy. Absolute monster of a task, but you feel fantastic by the end.
  9. Both parties, when the deal came to life, knew there was the potential for it to go tits up. Novo also felt that if he performed well until January, it was inevitable that The Rangers 2012 would come in and offer him a deal.
  10. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Nacho. F*cking cretin.
  11. UCAS application sent away last week. Applied for two courses at Stirling, one at Napier, one at Strathclyde and one at Glasgow Caledonia. Now the wait begins.
  12. Granted. What I'm saying is, the way the side are currently playing, there is a much better chance of that gap increasing rather than decreasing. King Kenny to the rescue, hopefully.
  13. Watch Morton ever week, like myself, and you'd understand how much of a task Shiels has on his hands. I think he'll do well, though.
  14. Time for mission impossible to commence. We're behind you, Kenny.
  15. Good appointment. The pressure is obviously on him straight away, though. The results will have to come immediately if we want to survive, but Kenny will give the boys the kick up the backside they need. His success at Kilmarnock will stand him in good stead, and I think the Morton fans will take to him fairly quickly. That all depends on the results though, I suppose. Dougie Imrie, Nacho Novo and Kenny Shiels all in the same team? No-one likes us, we don't care.
  16. None have had experience of managing in Scotland, which could prove to be a problem. Rajamäki would be my preferred choice out of all three, though.
  17. Someone on the Morton forum is defiant that Jimmy Calderwood and Kenny Shiels have been interviewed. Either will do, if true. Bring them home, Dougie.
  18. He's shagged Jordan, apparently. Boys got shit standards.
  19. It would appear that Allan Moore has signed a contract which states that, if he can guide us to the play-offs this season, he will be rewarded with a new one-year deal. Very bizzare. EDIT: It would now appear Moore has signed a new one-year deal, and if we can reach the play-offs this season, he'll be handed a further year, seeing him stay at the club till the end of the 2015/16 season.
