Only one word in this post ‘Tolly’ Is true cause that’s what’s hanging out your gub ya gob shite

sandys and not ‘sandies’ won the league as they have more points than any other team over the season regardless of rules and what’s happened there top and champions so get on with it .

If Sandys had went through the fixtures beating every  team fair and square then yes you’re correct.

As you well know that was not the case having being run over  by Craigshill before  the game was abandoned

And by the wonders of the leafa logic points awarded to Sandys surprise surprise eh !!

Then awarded the points for the return game as well so overall there’s six points that  went along way to

Assisting  a bang average Sandys team to win the league by default. Fact :thumsup2

lets not forget that Danderhall  ripped yous a new one that day at 6 v 1 Fact

Sandys shouldn’t be going about callin anyone shite . Yous got lucky in the league , toiling against craigshill when game got abandoned and uni getting chucked out swung the league in your favour.

Yous also got beat 6-1 in a game and the only cup you’ve got a chance of winnin is one where u got a bye which was a farce.

Show a bit respect to other teams.

Well as the apparent Sandy's official spokesman I can tell you now.... the game went be replayed

Can’t see any reason not to play the game just inform the Leafa office bearers that Sandys won’t accept the win without actually playing and are now willing to play the game.

It’s  a win win for amateur football and will give Sandys some much needed  credibility :thumsup2

I'm not glossing over anything. I don't have the influence to say replay the game. It certainly would not bother me playing against danderhall. I'm just saying it probably won't happen so yous can debate as much as yous like

You  appear to be Sandys official spokesman so why can’t you refuse Leafa’s decision and offer to play the game.

That gesture would go a long way in restoring Sandys standing in the amateur game.

We all know that probably won't happen. We are trying to win the league so adding an extra fixture through sportsmanship will not happen. Time to draw a line under this one, drama queens.

It’s glaringly obviously that Sandys don’t fancy it that’s why you’re looking to gloss over the issue at hand :thumbsdown :thumbsdown

The previous weeks fixture was off, for whatever reason genuine or not, LEAFA have to take a clubs word for it. They can’t tell Sandys where to play and if Sandys don’t want to move, wether they had a reason for that, only they will know but they don’t have to so that can’t form part of the argument and would be why the meeting wasn’t about that.

I’m very much a neutral and I don’t see the argument. Refuse to play at Sandys, fine, within your rights but you can’t refuse to play 2 mins along the road.

I will reiterate again, what happened the week before bores no relevance!

Sandys should make the offer to play the game rather than claim the tie due to default, you know that’s the proper thing to do in the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play :thumsup2

    Am I not right though?

What good reason do Danderhall have for refusing to play at the Jewel?

“Sandys never changed last week” That’s nothing to do with the game in question.

Danderhall left themselves wide open by refusing to play that game at The Jewel, and that’s why they lost the tie.

Some might say you’re blowing smoke up their arse :whistle :whistle

At the risk of reading like I’m sticking up for Sandys, I think the main point of them losing the tie here is being overlooked.

Fair enough refuse to play at Sandys, but to then refuse to play at The Jewel which is a stones throw from the original venue, is what I believe has got them thrown out.

Regardless of what’s gone on or not gone on , that’s the issue that I believe was up before the committee, Danderhall not fulfilling a fixture on the date it was meant to be played, without good reason.

It wouldn't bother me to replay the game but I don't make those decisions

Why don’t you make the suggestion to the people at your club then :whistle

    You're a gimp

If you genuinely don’t have anything to hide why not offer to play the game ?

In the spirit of sportsmanship  it certainly would go along way to restore  Sandys current standing in the association.

Do you think debating on this will make leafa change their minds?

Clubs should lobby the Leafa office bearers regarding this shocking decision and demand an extraordinarily general meeting.

Transparency is needed for the sake of amateur footbal and to protect the future of the game.

Don't have any affiliation with either team but this seems to be spot on to me. Danderhall are within their rights to ask for proof the issue was resolved, if this wasn't produced then they shouldn't be expected to play the fixture.

I also wouldn't have accept any alternatives offered purely on the principle that Sandys never accepted their alternatives (if this is the truth).

Should have just played it at a neutral location and problem solved, but to throw Danderhall out is awful from the FA.

Leafa have let all it’s members clubs down by that decision, it just proves they don’t give a toss about anyone but Sandys  Fact :thumbsdown :thumbsdown

I know. This is how it feels to be sandys

There is a certain satisfaction that comes by actually beating teams on the pitch rather than default  :whistle

Wining cups that way means  hew haw :thumsup2

Does anyone at Sandy's try and intimidate any players or coaching staff ? Never once seen a threat before any fixture the whole time I have been there .

Get a grip mate it happens and you know it does :thumbsdown

Wether it’s true or not the consensus is that everyone thinks Sandys are cheating, The honourable thing to do would be to ask for a replay and I am sure everyone would respect Sandys more for doing that.
