Both have been excellent this season. Martin is showing the form over last few months that he showed at you guys. He had a rocky start and missed a few games through injury but now he looks like he’s back to his best. Stirling for me is our most improved player this season. He doesn’t always start games as I think GN liked him coming of the bench when teams were tiring as the boy has energy to burn. His attitude is spot on and he still got the head down and got on with it.

I must say, he suits blue better

Aird is a useful acquisition if we can pull it off. He can cover both wings and play full back and he is very fast. I’m surprised Dundee Utd are willing to let him go as he is leading the way with assists in the league. Then again this is only a rumour. I would still like another striker but it’s not the end of the world if we don’t get one as Connor Murray is a forward player (usually gets put out on the wing).

A fast winger and can also fill in at right back. I’d have him, as he’s still a good option to have.

Anybody who still doesn’t rate Dykes after last night, clearly isn’t watching the game. What a shift he put in.

Splaine is an interesting one. Suffered a bad injury but as you said made his comeback for Derry. He’ll know the area having been at us as a youngster and I believe he’s from Newton Stewart. I watched videos on YouTube of McGrath when he was in America, looked good but the standard was pretty amateur. 6ft 4 box to box midfielder who can also play at the back.

Good addition for them. They were one of the clubs that agreed terms with Maguire before he chose us.

Semple was always only here until January anyway as it was a short loan. In knowing this we brought in Maguire who I may add has looked every bit as capable as Semple from what I’ve seen so far. Ross County have seen an opportunity arise with Semple going back down south and they have enquired about him. We all know the County owner isn’t short of a bob or two and they are getting a player they know can perform well at this level so it’s a no brainer really. As for the folk wondering why we never got him back, we don’t need him. I will miss him but as I said we got somebody else in. Brownlie is back also and there are other positions in the team that need strengthened first and foremost.

LTS never mentioned anything about Kerr being poor...

Solid player with good potential. If we hadn’t brought in Maguire then I would have been gutted about this.

Brownlie is good cover to have back nonetheless but he’ll struggle to get into the team unless someone is injured/suspended.
