  1. Pretty much sums Celtic up:

"AS recent years have shown, the fixture between Heart of Midlothian and Celtic at Tynecastle Stadium has become a difficult one. This follows various incidents, including an attack on the Celtic manager and continued sectarian abuse directed at Celtic management, staff and players.

Celtic representatives met with Ann Budge and her Executive team yesterday and were made aware of particular issues which arose at the match on Sunday.

In addition to these issues, missiles were thrown into the Celtic support, a Celtic supporter sustained injuries at the match after being hit with coins, and sectarian abuse was again directed at Celtic staff and players. We are also aware of a home supporter again attempting to enter the field of play at Tynecastle, this time to approach one of our players.

We are addressing these matters with Heart of Midlothian and welcome the desire of Ann Budge to seek a positive and enjoyable matchday experience for all football supporters at Tynecastle. We look forward to working with her to achieve this.

Celtic supporters have a long and proud record of positive support for the Club. Our fans have developed an excellent reputation and this is something we cherish and wish to preserve.

It is very important to note that the vast majority of Celtic supporters and Scottish football supporters behave impeccably at matches. With regards to the reported incidents at the match on Sunday, we would like to re-iterate that any form of offensive or inappropriate behaviour is contrary to our core values and the Club will deal with those responsible in the appropriate manner.

We share the concerns expressed by Ann Budge and her aim to eradicate all forms of offensive behaviour from Scottish football. We can assure Heart of Midlothian that we will be pleased to continue to co-operate with them fully to ensure that all issues from this match concerning both sets of supporters are addressed."

  2. One of my many, many suspensions on JKB was because I had started a thread saying it was ridiculous that posters with personal vandetta's were allowed to hide behind anonymous moderator profiles so they didn't have to properly justify themselves.

JKB is a far worse forum than it was a few years ago.

Full of '5-1 LOLZ' chat an f**king 'Dot Count' threads.

  3. Aberdeen is a great city for student life - shame that the freshers weeks are spread out over a 3 week period this year. It was much better when it was just one big one held at Liquid.

What clubs have you guys been finding yourselves drawn towards? Quite a few this year running big freshers events: Liquid, Garage, Underground all within 5 minutes of each other as well keeps it interesting.

  4. World class save? Ok then.

The volley from Law was pish, he fluffed it. There was barely any pace on the ball at all. It was at the perfect height to get a bit more on it and had he have played a bit more football he might have got more on it.

It was hardly requiring Craig Gordon's save against Bolton was it?

He could have played an eternity of football and not kept it out.

You need to give yourself peace mate - it would have been a miraculous stop if he had kept it out...despite your insistence that Law 'fluffed it'.

  5. My only complaint about Gallacher from what I've seen was the ibrox equaliser. Felt he should have got a stronger hand on it and at least parried it although really should've tipped it wide or over.

Given though that he was just on and probably hadn't played much football over summer, I'd imagine that was just a wee bit of rustiness. Plus we won the game anyway so who cares.

You mean you were annoyed he didn't pull of a potentially world class save from a half volley 10 yards out?

    Ok then

  6. I really rate the lad, but if he's behind Sow, Keatings, El Hassnaoui and Carrick in the pecking order then going out to get games will be far more beneficial. Going by the finishing I've seen from him so far he should rattle in quite a few in that league and he can come back and challenge in January.

    Good luck Gary.

Can still play for our u20s at the same time.
