Good news re Cammy.

Anybody else pleased that we can now watch MOTD without pundits talking bollox? I always record the show and fast forward the 'analysis'. Same with BBC Scotland coverage too.

Well, at least I got some exercise in tonight... Walked to the ground for tonight's game, but it was called of late. After a drink in the bar I walked back again...
Glad I didn't walk. It's about 6 miles there and back!

The best young CM ive seen you have recently is Jack Lambert, who im forever surprised has had as shite a career as hes had.
Presumably theres something ive just missed whenever ive seen him.
Agree with you re Lambert. He had a bit of the Scott Allan about him, an ability to pick out teammates with his passing. Playing (well) for Darlington now, I believe and has just been joined by fellow ex-Dee, Andrew Nelson.

Someone with a very similar hairstyle to Sweenie-Rowe was warming up with the team pre-match on Saturday. I wasn’t sure who it was.
Might have been Euan Mutale. He's been here for a wee while.

We've deserved absolutely nothing out this game. So disappointing.
That's not what Coyle will say. Queens dominate every game even when they get pumped.

Get the train from central to st James, about 2.10. Drops you right behind the away end about half two.
Thanks for that. Wasn't sure if trains were going to be running.

Okay, Buddies, what bus would I get from Glasgow City Centre to St Mirren Park?

Sometimes managers can stick by their signings so impressed to see Bowyer hold his hands up and get rid of a signing that just wasn't of the required quality.
Grayson's still there.

Good game at Forthbank yesterday. Good crowd too, including this Dundee supporter. Deserved win for the Binos and thought the football played by both sides was pretty good. Lot of discussion re Kai Fotheringham. He was decent but I'd be surprised if United recalled him as I think they're a bit top heavy with players and need to offload some. If they do that they might recall the boy, but my guess is that he'll stay at Stirling.

Despite one or two nervy moments, Albion were well deserved and comfortable winners today, looks like keeping Kai Fotheringham will be the make or break for the promotion push, hearing Dundee United coaching staff were at the game today which, from a Stirling Albion perspective is concerning if they are impressed enough to recall him from his loan.
Fantastic crowd at the match today which was great to see, any idea what the figure was?

Went to Harp 7 Forfar WE 0 on Saturday. Dismayed to see how far FWE have fallen. One of the top teams in the area not so long ago.

Great win for East Craigie. Well done, the Shipbuilders.

Fair play to the Airdrie who brought decent numbers also.
To be fair though, it is a club with some sort of history and tradition unlike the total non-entities such as Accies, ICT and the Morten.
Thank you.
Their history involves going bust and buying over Clydebank FC and renaming themselves.

I can just see it now. Grayson's contract with Barrow runs out at the end of the season and Bowyer hands him a 2-year deal.

At least at Letham you get inside the cage and there is a decent barrier for leaning on. Food and coffee was good as well. My experience albeit only for boys football.
Nothing worse than having to watch football through a caged fencing. Riverview at Monifieth the worst.

What a soulless place the Letham ground is. Pitch full of markings for hockey, basketball, polo and such like. The bounce of the ball is horrendous. Viewing is terrible. One side only, no elevation for spectators. Hate these caged in "community" grounds.

George Shields sacked as Lochee United manager. Inevitable really imo.
Sorry to see George and Jinky go. Not sure of the circumstances but they leave difficult shoes to fill.

Not sure how interested many of you will be in this, but Sam Fisher has been excellent for us. Started the last 3 games and been rock solid defensively. He’s also good at driving the team forward with the ball. We’ve kept clean sheets in all 3 games as well. Admittedly, not all down to him, our back 3 have all been very good - and we had 5 clean sheets in 8 games before he came into the team. But he has come in and improved an already impressive defence.
Physically, he hasn’t lost a single battle. His positioning has been very good and his timing of the challenge has been great. It’s been noticeable that both Edinburgh at the weekend and Clyde midweek wanted to test him early on, then rarely went down his side at all in the second half after he dealt with everything easily. His ability with the ball has been a great asset. He’ll carry the ball forward and, if needs be, put crosses into the box - his cross forced a Fontaine own goal last weekend.
Its only league 1, so I’m sure Dundee fans will have their concerns about the legitimacy/relevance of these performances. It’s also a very small sample of games and we haven’t seen how he handles mistakes/poor performances that will inevitably come. But I think you’ve got a very good defender on your hands.
Sam is an excellent young player. He lacks a bit of height for a central defender which is normally where we play him in the Under 20s or Reserve team. I equate him with the likes of Ricky Little of Arbroath or Barry Smith of Dundee who are/were great defenders, despite not being the tallest. Enjoy him while he's there.

A midfield containing Grayson, Williamson and McGhee is horrific.

Didn't really get the love for Grayson from the Arbroath game. Thought a lot of his passes were of the sideways variety. Couldn't believe after five substitutions he was still on the park. Might just be settling in, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Reckon Queens will do okay this season. 3-0 flattered us, though we still deserved the points. Good to see our old keeper Calum Ferrie having a fine game, Stood no chance with any of the goals and had some decent saves.

Lochee taking on Blair on Monday night next week instead of Wednesday. More time to recover for Scottish tie against Dalkeith on Saturday.

Hope he doesn't turn out to be our new Walter Del Rio. Absolute mince that guy.
