Bonner never seems to know the names of any of the opposition players and, when, I say opposition, I mean any team that is playing against Celtic. The guy watches them 38 times in the league and various other cup and Euro games and sees the other 11 teams 3, possibly 4, times a season.

Not that I am one to contest referees' decisions but that was no sending off.
Watch carefully on the Sportscene coverage. The first contact was from the Dundonian who clearly reaches out to impede. There was no punch to the goolies but there was a very professional collapse in the box.
Dundee Citizens is a great theatre. But their cast should not be on a football pitch.
Dundee Citizens Theatre? Never heard of it.

We pay the same licence fee as the English and that is what they give us!

If ref sees that as a red gives you an idea of his judgement.
whatabout
jish and Dundee centre back jostling each other- nothing
mckee foul in front of dugnouts- no yellow
adams 2 fouls ignored
mullins continually abusing the linesman
You sound like a Rangers fan.

Never mind, Pop Pickers. Four more defeats and we'll be able to dust off that Jim McIntyre golden oldie, "10 In A Row, He's Got To Go".

Looking forward to getting back to Thomson Park today for Lochee Utd v Forfar Utd game. Mon the Chee!

Games off due to frozen pitches. Only games on in this area, as of time of writing, are at Dundee St James, Carnoustie and Tayport.

Josh Mulligan any use?
Always impressed me when he played for Development team. Obviously haven't seen as much since he went to Peterhead but was at Links Park last week and he looked good playing centre mid before going to right back. Unless McPake is intending to sign up six midfielders in the transfer window, I'd definitely like to see him back at Dens challenging for a first team spot.

As a Dundee fan I was keeping a close eye on the three loanees in the Peterhead team. Most impressed by Josh Mulligan. Thought he ran the show in midfield but was less effective when he was moved to right back.

At Links Park last night watching Montrose v Peterhead. Cameron, Strachan and Mulligan playing for P'Head with Derek Lyle coming on for them in second half wearing No. 99.
Mulligan was excellent playing centre mid. Ran the show until he was moved to right back late in the game. Decent shot on him too. Fired in a 25-yarder that keeper managed to tip over the bar. Picked up a needless booking for a cynical foul but showed that he could handle himself in that company. Different story in Premiership though. Lots of talk about him coming back in January, but, depending on who we bring in, might be better to leave him at Peterhead to get more game time. Better that than sitting on our bench beside Corey Panter.

Was at the Tayport/St James game. Thought the Dundee boys a bit unlucky not to come away with a point. Lights good.

How are East Craigie doing so well? A joke club for most of the seasons I can remember, a ghost from long vanished industrial times. Strange to see them right up there somehow.
Talented young players with an old head at the back. Two or three ex Dundee youth players in their side and somebody who can put the ball in the net (Grady McGrath).

Hilarious when the announcer read out the names of the Saintees substitution. Two guys with the longest names in football. Just as well Dundee didn't sub CAMERON Liney Hamilton Cox Seith Ure Wishart Smith Penman Cousin Gilzean Robertson KERR last night or we would still be there.

Huge credit to Forfar WE for their defensive performance at Thomson Park on Saturday. Good goalkeeping and three slices of luck when the ball hit the bar/post.
There was also an Oscar-worthy performance by the left back when he rolled about further than I can roll my Easter egg in getting Colquhoun sent off.
Speaking of luck, I was going for a hat-trick of half time draw wins. A tenner the last two weeks but only a fiver this week. I just can't catch a break!

You do better than me with that... I've never won it anywhere. Surely with the amount of games I go to (and usually I buy HT draw tickets), I should be due a win by now?
Just to rub it in I also won a fiver at Lochee about a month ago.

Decent win today against Blairgowrie. I wasn't there, but by the sounds of it, we were easily the better team. We should have scored more but a win is a win. Another positive is that some players who were injured made their comebacks today.
Dominated the game, but result not confirmed until second goal went in, courtesy of a terrific Kerr Hay free kick. Good to see Danny Cavanagh back. Wasn't expecting him to be back fit so early.
On another note, I won the top prize in the half time draw for the second week running. Going for the hat trick at Thomson Park on Saturday.

Where's everybody heading for tomorrow? It's Blairgowrie v Lochee United for me.

Noticed at the Tayport game last week that they've taken delivery of the floodlight pylons. Good to see clubs in this area making progress.

Decided on Tayport 2 Harp 1. Bad Tempered game,. Surprised only one ordering off.

A few controversial moments in Scottish matches last night.
Arguments over handball’s, penalties, unhappy managers, and supporters.
Not one person has mentioned the object thrown from the Dundee support at a Ross County player when Ross County scored.
Just saying!
Think it was his season ticket.

Dreadful show from Dundee last night but have to say well done to County. Played with energy and skill. Nelms out!

You can add the Ross County embarrassment to the others since McPake took charge: Hearts, United, Celtic, Dunfermline, Ayr, Bonnyrigg Rose (even though we won that one).

Although I can't find any mention of it on the fishal (no surprise there), our youths are in the quarter final of the SFA Youth Cup v Hearts at Station Park, Forfar on Friday, Jan 28, KO 2.30pm.
