  1. Bad night! Sir Harry was never involved in the race surprisingly. Fantasy looks like it could use 1 furlong less. Had The Warrior on last time and looked like a very good 2nd. This time had some trouble with room but still got up. My single on that made me break even fortunately. Didnt even watch the last race. Onto tomorrow
  2. Got a small lucky 15 at Kempton tonight just to keep it interesting. 5.55 Sir Harry Collins 6.25 Flying Fantasy 7.55 The Warrior (NAP) 8.25 Escalating
  3. Really never got into the race. Just didnt look like it could handle the step up in class at all.
  4. Having a small punt on Vertigo (7/1) at Hexham today 3.30.
  5. Big River 2.40 at Kelso today 4/1. Ran mostly well in 2nd on its last race (couple of dodgy jumps as it started gettting competitive towards the end). Back on ground that suits today, goes off rock bottom weight plus has the assistance of an in form 7lb claimer today. Might have some competition from Seeyouatmidnight who is potentially angling towards the Scottish national and has won some good races in its time but pulled up when last seen over 4 months ago.
  6. Thank god Cheltenham is over. Bad week. Lucinda Russell has got her yard in good form at the moment and had another couple of winners yesterday. 2 run at Uttoxeter today - Newtown Lad runs at 2.25 but dont fancy it up in class and rating after winning last time out. Sky Khan running at 3.00 seems like a good outside shot at 18/1. Has went well off a break before. Slightly down in class for his comeback run and has dropped in the weights slightly. Might need this run but a small each way is worth a punt.
  7. Ballyandy Altior Holywell Moon Racer Limini NAP Martello Tower Captain Redbeard - Dont like the look of this race so outside punt on this one. Trainers only entry of the festival.
  8. Going into the last couple of jumps I thought it had it won. Jockey hadnt moved a muscle on it and horse was travelling nicely. Just didnt seem to pick up as much as I'd hoped when Scudamore asked for more. Bit of a return on the each way though so cant complain.
  9. Lucinda Russell has found a bit of form (and already has a winner at Ayr today) and is sending one horse on one hell of a journey down to Sandown today. 4.15 - Vangeur De Guye at 7/1 Worth a wee punt I'd think.
  10. I suspect Little and Henderson will be our front line. Can only wait and see how that works out. But I agree with your insinuation about his career appearing to be on the skids. Hope he proves me wrong!
  11. £5 on each to win - So a bit of spending money for the horses tomorrow.
  12. 3/1 Energia Fox at Newcastle 2.30 looks a good shout. You're betting on a horse that hasnt won in 21 races so far but has never slummed it in a class 5 race. Placed in top class races in the past. Good trainer and jockey - Both travelling to Newcastle for this one ride. 2/1 Matrows Lady at Hereford 2.40 won so convincingly on its reappearance that it should go in again. Main challenger has been upped significantly in the weights since back to back wins. 5/4 Pass The Time at Newcastle 3.05 looks a good one too.
  13. Though it doesn't exactly stand out amongst the rest, Dancing Shadow in the 2.05 at Musselburgh has to be fancied. This is the trainers only entry and is bringing the horse all the way from Devon - Never been tested over this sort of distance but the trainer cant be bringing it up to test it out surely. Positive jockey booking too - 13/2.
  14. Fair enough - I thought you meant the Challenge cup match when your U20s beat us. Dont really keep tabs on the development league myself.
  15. The cup match in August? He wasnt with us at that time...
  16. No one has signed him yet. Hes going to be at the centre of a bidding war on transfer deadline day. Everyone got the lottery on this week?
  17. Some average footballer - Nothing to see here!
  18. Result means nothing in relation to Bikey. 11 players were beaten 3-2 that night. Having seen all his games he does ALOT more than just cut in. Speed, power, ability to read the game is all far beyond league 2 of Scotland. League 1 is not far beyond league 2. He could do a job in the Championship. Im fairly confident it wont be long until we see.
  19. Dont talk nonsense. The class between League 1 and 2 isnt much. He would easily handle league one and probably do a job in the Championship too - Not as prolific as he currently is but still think he'd be comfortable in the Championship.
  20. All his goals have been pretty decent. Pace is usually a factor. Cowdenbeath the weekend just past is maybe worth a watch too.
  21. You're only allowed him if you loan him back this season.
  22. 21 I believe. 5 goals in 6 games. He is quick. Very quick.
