I think for most of the support, change is either too difficult a thing to comprehend or they have this almost dictatorial view of Rangers (more than a team, we are the people etc). The vast majority of the Rangers fans I know are in this complete denial mindset that its everyone else's fault and they're going to come back bigger and stronger and all us diddies are going to be sorry. Not one of them has even questioned the possibility that this might just be the final cut for Rangers/Sevco. I dont lay all the blame for this mind set on the fans though. They are the ones who will eventually suffer because of others actions. This is down to the media, the crooks who've seen Rangers as an easy way to make a quick buck and run. I reckon Mr Green is of exactly the same ilk yet the sense of denial is the very thing that will eventually finish them off. He's a spectacular master of the art of spin.
Delusions of Grandeur will be the thing that hammers the final nail in the coffin. IMO. They wont change because they "are the people". Silly silly blinkered people.

Oh dear! You're about 6 months too late to be accusing us all of being obsessed and have leanings towards your neighbours across the city. Its your attitude that makes the vast majority of us hope your club dies and never resurrects. Arrogance, Whataboutery and abuse of anyone who questions your "great" leaders decisions in the past and even now in the present has led this thread to continue and if that makes us all obsessed then put the badge on me. Here’s What You Could Have Bought
Recently, Duff and Phelps released their final report to the creditors of Rangers Football Club. In amongst several other eye watering amounts, D&P revealed that the total amount HMRC are pursuing Rangers for is £94,426,217.22 (don’t forget the 22p). Now, to put that into context, I calculated that to be the equivalent value of five Tore Andre Flo’s (at £12m each), three Paul Gascoigne’s (at £4.3m each), two Giovanni Van Bronckhorst’s (at £5m each), one Artur Numan (at £4.5m) and still over £7m cash (perhaps for a partridge in a pear tree). For the record, these figures are those Rangers paid when purchasing the players.
Now, let me give you a few examples which I feel highlight the true cost of Rangers’ tax evasion and financial doping.
The highest figure Celtic have ever paid for a player is £6 million for Chris Sutton. With the money Rangers stole from the taxpayer over the years, Celtic could have bought fifteen Chris Sutton’s, and still have had enough left over for a few Henrik Larsson’s.
The highest fee Aberdeen have ever paid for a player is £1m (for Paul Bernard). With the amount of money Rangers saved, Aberdeen could have bought thirty four Paul Bernard’s, and Fernando Torres.
In 1995, Dundee United signed Steven Pressley for £750,000. With an extra £94m, they could have signed Cristiano Ronaldo and nineteen Steven Pressley’s.
In 2006, Hearts paid £850,000 for Mirsad Beslija from Racing Genk. If they’d stolen an equivalent sum of money as Rangers, this could have attracted Kaka as well as several others to Tynecastle (theoretically speaking).

Yes I am making such comparisons. SEVCO (or whatever they are called this week) fans sing offensive songs, anyone that is offended by a song needs their head checked. But apparently everyone is offended by everything these days so what can we do?

Yep. We're all watching Green very carefully indeed. I doubt anyone will ever again get a free ride after Murray & Whyte. Still, it's a delight to know that even in such circumstances the support have turned out in vast numbers to take us forward.
And despite the very best wishes of the diddy clubbers and plastics - I see that liewell and his band of merry men are working away in the background to make sure the latest TV deal is not crippled any more than it already is.

Just because someone questions the motives or the actions of someone running your club doesn't mean they have an obsession with your club. What your club done has affected the WHOLE of Scottish football and every single fan of every single club have a right to question what has gone on and have an opinion - including you. You can lambast and disregard as many facts as you like, but the fact still stands that Rangers in ANY form have cheated and bullied throughout Scottish football and stolen from every single Tax payer in the UK.

I've noticed that you aren't actually reading the whole posts of anyone who questions you or disagrees with you. You seem to be glancing at the post, picking the bits that you think you can counter comment on and failing miserably to actually put any kind of reasonable comment together without referring to general arrogance or North Korean style "glorious" propaganda. Maybe if your attention span could just increase to actually read the whole posts you might actually be able to comment sensibly instead of looking like a bitter arrogant bigot.

Because "Glesgaboy" We are discussing a sport. A game in which all teams should be on a level playing field. Sport first, Business second should be the whole ethos of every single team in all football leagues. Unfortunately the people who we've trusted to administer the game have destroyed the integrity, the honesty and the idea of sport within our game. Tell that to the Olympians in London right now and they'd shake their heads in disbelief. The rules have been broken by one of the largest teams in our leagues and continue to be by the looks of it with the help of the very bodies who should be stopping this happening. We are also sick to the back teeth of hearing on our tv and radio about how Rangers are too big to die, they've been punished enough etc etc. Justice hasnt been done because if it had Rangers in ANY form would simply no longer exist. All that has happened is Charlie Green has been given an open door to sign every mercenary money grabber and satisfy the glory hunting fans with wins for the next 3 seasons. What is happening at Sevco right now is as bad as Murray and his outspending everyone else to buy success - and look what happened there. Something has got to give.

These are PEOPLE whose war cry is 'WE are the people' and everyone else therefore is dirt on their shoes by that definition...

If this were ANY of the other teams in Scottish football, we'd be dead and buried long ago and no-one but no-one in authority or in the corrupt, apologist Scottish media would even question it. It would have been deemed our particular teams own fault.

Im still of the opinion that there will not be any form of Sevco in Scottish football next year. If it is then it had better be the bottom of the third division AND with sanctions.
I feel that the culture shock that their "fans" will get will be enough to stop the delusions that the third division will be somehow a walk in the park.

Time we all just stopped. No more attending matches no matter who we support. No more buying into the sponsorships. No more Sky subs, Nothing.

(I know its a bit Rangers Media, but I cant really think of another way to make these cheats and liars sit up and realise WE run the game in Scottish football, they are only administrators and as such can be sacked and replaced).

HMRC dont really take kindly to phoenix companies so you will likely end up exstinct, so you might want to subscribe to Sky for the Movie channels.
