That's great Leo , few Hamilton fans not happy he's out on loan , missing Moore and Cunningham from squad yesterday I see as well , hopefully Moore not too far away from a return as will improve us further

Aye O'Donnell & Moore make a big difference to that starting 11. Was it a straight red for O'Donnell last week?

So this week we have to?, travel to Meadowbank for our football fix 😴 🥱

Anyway it's what we do, so  Kelty Hearts are this weeks visitors and no doubt they'll be expecting an easy three points towards their play-off hopes.

The 6 point penalty we got handed finally ended this miserable season for us! So just passing time now until we can start afresh in July.  We'll go again.

For Kelty, a great first half of the season 👍

I guess getting rid of Potter has made the difference! A play-off place would be a good reward for their efforts so we'll see how it progresses.

It's hard to predict our games these days, so I'll guess Edinburgh 1 - 3 Kelty Hearts

Sad to see City struggling after a decent season last year.

We should certainly look to tame three points but have has a few shite weeks. Hopefully it clicks back into gear today!

I hope your tongue was planted firmly in your cheek there old pal.😁

    A tad...

Your turnover is actually the difference which has been eyewatering!

I hope you come up though after years of close calls.

  4. Well played to the Uni last night. They've always been a tidy side from our days in the LL league but were first class last night.  We were shite, but credit deserved. Quick, attacking football on the deck & worked their socks off.

Few scouts from Montrose & Dunfermline looking at Uni players last night, they'll have been impressed.

Your right neeb not far off playoffs but last two performances have shown we are lacking that killer touch up front and defence looks vulnerable when under pressure , all teams hit a sticky patch throughout a season so hopefully that's us had ours , perfect chance on Saturday to get it right against a struggling Edinburgh side , surely a must win for us if any hope of a playoff place

100%. Taking three points a must as well as the following encounter on the next Tuesday the week after QoS.

Bit my tongue last night after Saturday but that was woeful last night neeb

12 goals conceded since McKay stepped into defence so maybe the Falkirk fans were right after all

not one player last night can say that that was treated as nothing more than a training session hopefully because if they were trying their hardest out there last night then we are in for a testing second half of the season

Lyon looked like the cat that never got the cream as in the move he was expecting

    Tidser ineffective

Dont rate Mcallister at this level at all

    Defence brutal at times

up shit creek if Gourlay gets injured as Campbell not good enough replacement at this level

Mcallister is young boy & not as physically developed as Bavidge who's the same age...& it shows. McKay didn't do too much wrong for me but overall we were terrible.

We are still in the mix with it so tight from 4th to 8th but need some wins on the board soon.

    Pumped by the Uni ffs

    Where to start....

Almost full strength team from us bar Gourlay, Thomson, O'Donnell & CJ. Still all first team starting 11.

Uni are a very good LL league side, tidy & hungry all over the park. Well done them!

    Us however...

Lyon & Tidser towing caravans tonight. Botti was ineffective up top & Stef McCluskey was simply crap. Young Mcallister is clearly talented but he's not a wide midfielder in a month of Sundays. We could habe been 3 up in the first 20 but Uni were always in it. Utter shambolic defending 2nd half from cross balls.

Tidser better get them lifted for the weekend!!

Wasn't sure about posting this but there was racist neanderthal a few rows along from me shouting "get the immigrant off now" when Kelty's Biabi went in heavy. Can do without that. West Stand on the left of the main hospitality section looking onto the pitch, about 2/3rds back. Had kids with him as well.

Quite right to call this out if you heard it. No place for shit like this.

Owens struggles with anything bar right back neeb

I get there might be a playing clause but surely that can't mean they have to start every single game while our own signed players are benched ??
Anyway red wines flowing just have to drink to try and forget the most powderpuff display since Tids took over

No doubt the young lads got talent but unlike O'Donnell he's not as physically developed. It might well mean he's to start a % buy who knows.

We're only 3 points of 4th...all to play for with a game in hand.

  10. 22 minutes ago, Kelheart said:

Where to begin today with that neeb

I'm all for young ones getting a chance but if I was Cunningham I'd be livid that Mcallister was getting a start before me , Moore has to be injured or would've surely started , really miss Tidser absolutely powderpuff in midfield today and that rests with Tids selection

Pumped by a very average team who actually shot when they could unlike us , very bad day at the office so away to hit the red wine
    Mon Kelty

McAllister loan probably has a playing clause but fully agreed Kelheart. Cunningham has been good but never seems to stay in the team.

Wee Owens struggled today in CM

“Very average team”……sounds like you had hit the red wine earlier in the afternoon. Bit of a heads gone comment from one of Kelty’s more reliable posters. Disappointing.

Knowing Kelheart he won't have meant any disrespect. Well deserved fron the Binos today.

Reece Lyon is set to sign for Accies according to the daily record. Absolutely delighted with this if true if you had asked me to name a list of targets before the window had opened this guy would be on it. Standout for Kelty and impressed me last season when he was at Annan as well.

We'd be gutted to lose him. Our best player this year overall & captain. He's more than capable if full time Championship football.

    *shrugs*

We'll see eventually, i guess, but youre acting almost exactly like Kelty Hearts fan were when their spending was questioned. They also claimed the entire backroom structure meant the money would never stop.

Then the entire thing jumped ship to Raith and theyre selling players to you.

The issue is theres f**k all money at the level youre chucking money at reaching. Those putting money into you know fine well it can never be recouped through club achievements so its all about boosting their CV to get involved at a bigger club.

We threw money about, but at least had a settled plan & squad. It's done us well too - we are establishing ourselves at L1 level after investment in the ground & community club from the previous owner. The reference to us here vs EK is poor.

Tiwi was on the bench, we've made some dosh. Good deal for us.

Talk of Josh O’Brien signing on loan from Accies to the end of the season.

Decent enough player made a scapegoat by Rankin for one poor performance and who has funnily enough been replaced by Fergus Owens.

Hopefully confirmed soon then. A good player from what I've seen & other snippets on here.
