  2. Some tit asking " why don't we just go to Engerlandshire". Doh!

    Where have these cnuts BEEN?

i say we kick them out of scottish football forever.. then see how quickly they get into Englands league...

fast forward to the year 3995 and stil they sit paitently outside the fence watching the english leagues play...

"Can i play wae ur ball" fat sallys great great great great great great great great...etc..fat slob of a grandchild says..

    "NO" shouts the english league...

  3. I think the comments that SFL will say NO, and SFA will pur Newco straight back into SPL, is a very dangerous possibility. Its becoming clear that the silence from SPL is covering something. Just remember what has been said, the bullying and downright disgusting threats, MUST lead you to believe that you cant trust ANYTHING that ALL of the guys involved are saying/have said.

I happily watch the carnage and meltdown WHEN Newco get put back into SPL. Agree with some comments that why arent Dundee/Dunfermline already in SPL? And why is the vote for that being taken AFTER SFL vote.

I think Regan, Cockwomble et al are FULLY expecting a rebuff and are preparing for Newco in SPL.

SPL clubs will say they had no choice as they said NO, and it was foisted onto them by SFA/SFL.

Enjoy the blood on the carpet lads!!

If this is true and they do get redmitted to the SPL again then "social unrest" will be the least of regan and dongcasters heads :o shocking to think our SPL chairmen that all publicly voted no, SECRETLY voted YES here is an elaborate ruse to fool the scottish punter.

Oh how sadly informed they are.

  4. How many clubs might change their minds now that 14-team SPL is on-the-table?

Falkirk previously made accomodating noises, albeit nothing more.

    Anyone obvious candidates to turncoat?

all of them. chaps nothing we do here now or even march against will stop them putting the hvns in div 1, its a given. Only thing to do is WALK AWAY EN MASS from all divisions and all teams. would be funny if the ONLY fans turning up where buns

  5. Iain King says "Scottish football will lose £80m if Rangers are in the 3rd'

It must be true because he also says "this is neither scaremongering or rumour" must've read p&b for that soundbite.

hangon now its £80 million we will lose if voted to Div 3...

STOP THE BUS !!!! Quick get newco 5088 into the spl! its gone up from £15million now

Can we get newco rangers team to pay the outstanding TAX BILL PLEASE that £120million can easily cover the loss of revenue please

  6. It would explain why ticketus disappeared quietly and where MR Green got money and the assets very easily.

It's very hard to not believe Whyte, Green and Duff and Phelps aren't all in this together.

We already have decent proof Whyte and Duff and Phelps are in cahoots.

Duff and Phelps didn't want to do business with the blue knights, even after they reached the quantum set by the dynamic duo.

I do love a good conspiracy.

going to throw this out as a better conspiracy...

Meet one former owner of rangers. .. Mr murray, 2 years ago he hedges a plot to sell up as he knows £££ tax bill is incoming.

Mr murray then goes and gets a few patsy's to sell the club to...

enter mr whyte is the fall guy, hes there to make him look bad, but hes in cohouts with mr green and mr murray...

enter mr green.. now has control, yet the one controlling everything is mr murray.

Now why you ask? well unfortunatley Mr Hector the Taxman is not dumb. and now has started serious fraud investigations.. hence mr murray and mr whyte running off.

mr green is mr patsy number 2... this is all to stop paying the TAX bill and saving this horrible club going to the wall.. now mr murray has his wish, they will survive and come back later to haunt us all..

CAAAA CHING saved paying £120million worth of debt !!

  7. I'd be delighted if Dundee withdrew their SPL application and ecstatic if Dunfermline followed suit.

That would sort this lot out. Oh, and Dunfermline's undignified scrambling to be admitted is starting to piss me off a bit.

Any reason why Rangers should be killed off

Here is an extract from an Italian magazine regarding a one Marco Negri and why he left.

From an Italian Football magazine, an interview with Marco Negri, about Rangers, and life in Scotland.

    LB- Luigi Bruno (Interviewer)

    MN- Marco Negri

LB- Marco, you left Rangers under very strange circumstances, why was that?

MN- Strange? There was nothing strange in anything that happened there, they simply did not want me there any longer.

    LB- Why was that?

MN- The honest answer is that I didn't know then and I still don't know even today. Nobody ever explained why I had fallen out of favour.

LB- Your goal record at Rangers was fantastic and when fit and available you were scoring for fun. I, and many others still do not understand why you left under a cloud.

MN- Let's just say you are getting very close to why I think that I was frozen out. Scotland is a very claustrophobic place where everything is examined and analyzed endlessly. Scottish society is in many ways a backward place.

LB- What do you mean by that?

MN- The culture, the underlying culture of Rangers was not good. The first team players had a habit of drinking vast amounts of alcohol during the week. As you know here in Italy we have a different culture as professional footballers. We know that it is our duty to keep ourselves fit and healthy. Some of the players there like Paul Gascoigne and Andy Goram would turn up smelling of drink BEFORE training. I could not understand why such behaviour was tolerated by Walter Smith who was manager then".

LB- Marco we are well aware of Paul Gascoigne's problems and it is sad to see his decline, we saw it earlier at Lazio. Are you saying that the players were out of control?

MN- Absolutely, I tried to point this out to Walter Smith several times but he became very defensive and said that I needed to understand Scottish footballing culture. He would hear no criticism of Goram and especially Gascoigne who could literally do anything he wanted to and still get away with it! It wasn't just their drinking however, they had some really extreme political and religious views.

LB- Could you elaborate on this please?

MN- Of course. They hated Catholics. All of them. I never understood why they were so filled with hatred. Several of us who were Catholic players and all foreigners were told upon arrival, never to bless ourselves at Ibrox as it could cause problems for us. I began to understand that Rangers was an extreme club very similar to Lazio here in Italy. You know, a right wing club with right wing supporters. I personally am not a practicing Catholic but my wife Anna Maria is, and it used to cause me pain when I heard what they said about my fellow Catholics. Lorenzo Amoruso and Jorg Albertz, just kept quiet and kept their heads down.

LB- What finally brought things to a head?

MN- I was rapidly disillusioned by Rangers and especially their supporters. As part of my professional duties I was strongly encouraged to attend social functions which meant going to several Rangers supporters clubs. The last one I attended really brought home to me the fact that I had nothing in common with these people. The anti-Catholic feeling was venomous and the songs they sang that evening filled me with disgust. It was at that point I decided not to give my all for a club that condoned such behaviour. I went sick. Walter Smith knew the real reason for my 'illness' and he just ignored it. But I wasn't lying, I was sick, sick of Rangers and sick of what they stood for and that is the truth.

Would YOU REALLY WANT THIS CLUB BACK :o :o :o

  8. That's why SFA are passing the buck to FIFA though. There would almost certainly be some form of legal action (either via law courts or CAS) if SFA withheld the registrations and said their decision was final, but by letting FIFA do it they can say "It wasn't our decision".

    Statement from Celtic Football Club

By: Newsroom Staff on 04 Jul, 2012 17:57

CELTIC Football Club today confirmed that it opposed re-admission to the Scottish Premier League by Rangers newco.

Today´s decision to refuse access into the SPL was an overwhelming one and demonstrates the depth of feeling amongst everyone involved in Scottish football.

Fundamentally, the Celtic Board has also been very mindful of the need to take what it believes to be the correct course of action in protecting the integrity of the game in Scotland

The matter is now within the jurisdiction of the Scottish Football Association and it will be for the SFA to decide on the future of Rangers newco.

Throughout the whole sequence of events leading up to today’s decision the Celtic Board has been of the singular view that the integrity of the game in Scotland is of paramount importance. Our only other consideration has been to protect the interests and right of the Club and our supporters.

Whilst the financial implications of today’s vote for Celtic and for the Scottish game as a whole will be very significant, we have already stated that Celtic has a business plan and strategy independent of any other club.

Our supporters can rest assured that we will continue to fight to protect Celtic’s best interests within the Scottish game.

In addition, we will be working with our other fellow SPL clubs in the days and weeks ahead to take all possible steps to maximise commercial returns, which remain crucial in these economically-challenging circumstances. We will also play an active role in mapping the future of Scottish football.

The fans are the lifeblood of the game and we know how strongly our supporters, and those of other clubs, felt about this issue.

We are confident that Celtic’s fans, together with the supporters of all the SPL clubs, will now play a major role in rallying behind their clubs to ensure that Scottish football emerges stronger from this episode.

During Celtic’s long and illustrious 125-year history, there have been periods of difficulty. At these times, our supporters have always stood shoulder to shoulder with the Club. We need our supporters to be with us now, more than ever.

We know our own supporters will be acutely aware of the significant challenges that lie ahead. We enter next season as Champions of Scotland and look ahead to retaining our title and to making an impact in a European context. We know how difficult this will be and we call on our supporters to join us in tackling these challenges, to take their place at Celtic Park, to invest in the Club and to continue to give us the kind of support for which they are renowned.

  9. Just had a look at the UEFA rule book,

Article 7 para 2 on page 4 could be interpreted as saying that sponsorship money and broadcasting money should not be taken into consideration on decisions affection any competitiion rules and qualification.

and article 51 para 3 on page 23 basically state that Newco just ain't allowed in.

Failure to comply with UEFA rules could get Scottish fitba stopped for good, IE no Euro competition for any clubs and no National team.

SFA, SPL and SFL will have to be careful about this.

and this is the rules the SFA&SPL donkeys want to break just to keep rangers in top flight... NOW if FIFA & UEFA do not act, then does that mean SKY can dictate who stays up in ALL leagues they cover? :o
