Is any one of our three defensive coaches doing anything? I wouldn’t trust Wright in the transfer window. He has managed to build a squad that can’t defend and can’t score goals. If his past history is anything to go by he’ll wait for his target through the whole window and we’ll be left with another Ralston, Vihman or even May situation

I would be amazed if the Chairman lets this go much further. Doubt he’ll let nostalgia override the financial implications of relegation. Changing manager may not make a difference but I don’t see him just allowing us to go down without as much as a whimper.0 -

Need to be bold. The midfield could be eaten alive, but the attack there looks perfect to exploit the full backs getting too advanced. MOH gets to just roam about around May and try and find gaps.

I'm not trying to pitch it from any particular viewpoint, just how i picked it up. I quite strongly believe that things like this should be in the wider domain and are not just for the few who attend.
Next time if the club filmed it I think it would be great. Though youmightwould not get the same level of openness on certain issues possibly.
Overall, very worthwhile in my opinion and well done to those who were involved in it.

Now this is a complete guess but it sounds to me like May/Vine are responsible for the collapse but the club are claiming the higher ground by not ripping right into them. If May opens his mouth I think the club will reply.

Medicals aren’t pass or fail. They’ll show things up then the buying club has to decide if they think the deal is still able to go ahead or can be renegotiated. Different clubs will make different decisions.0 -
I never saw Baltacha play for Saints, but I get the impression he was, in terms of ability, the best. Dasovic seemed more like a cult hero who arrived in a high spot for the club. Thats maybe doing him a disservice.
This isn’t a bad summary although Dasovic was an excellent player as well as a cult hero. Sometimes players become cult heroes without being as good as Dasovic. I realise that’s not exactly what you are saying here though.0

I really wonder what we are doing during the week. Goodwin sent his team out to press which they did well and were easily the better team. I wonder if Wright would have given eleven supporters a game if they turned up early enough. Players look lost to me.
Played five midfield players, and lost the middle of the park. Long punts and even when Hendry won the ball there was no one to get near his headers 95% of the time. Ponderous in possession with only a long ball to rely on. Central defence looked the most organised area.
Absolutely dire.
