I really wonder what we are doing during the week. Goodwin sent his team out to press which they did well and were easily the better team. I wonder if Wright would have given eleven supporters a game if they turned up early enough. Players look lost to me. Played five midfield players, and lost the middle of the park. Long punts and even when Hendry won the ball there was no one to get near his headers 95% of the time. Ponderous in possession with only a long ball to rely on. Central defence looked the most organised area. Absolutely dire.

Is any one of our three defensive coaches doing anything? I wouldn’t trust Wright in the transfer window. He has managed to build a squad that can’t defend and can’t score goals. If his past history is anything to go by he’ll wait for his target through the whole window and we’ll be left with another Ralston, Vihman or even May situation

You obviously think you’ve overreacted because you’ve replied but I’m not sure you, or anyone for that matter, should be able to decide what it’s ok to overreact to.

After reading this thread this week I find it hilarious that some people are having a go at others for overreacting. Some people just don’t get irony.

Now this is a complete guess but it sounds to me like May/Vine are responsible for the collapse but the club are claiming the higher ground by not ripping right into them. If May opens his mouth I think the club will reply.

Medicals aren’t pass or fail. They’ll show things up then the buying club has to decide if they think the deal is still able to go ahead or can be renegotiated. Different clubs will make different decisions.

This isn’t a bad summary although Dasovic was an excellent player as well as a cult hero. Sometimes players become cult heroes without being as good as Dasovic. I realise that’s not exactly what you are saying here though.
