  1. I'd have very little sympathy towards Motherwell if they went in to administration. How difficult is it for clubs to understand that their cloth must be cut accordingly?

I'm really not sure that would happen, although you would be right. As pointed out above, no consideration on the CL money in this document. Its purely worst case scenario. From my uneducated opinion its just scare mongering from the press again.

    John McVeigh is a tit

  2.

Are you the 'good' side of T_S_A_R? Like No.8's split personalities?

Not sure if that is a compliment or not? I'll take it as one. I need an alter ego!

Back on the Motherwell comment and someone mentioning, Scare Mongering. I wouldn't disagree with that, even the vote had a little carrot. Only full members can vote, but if you paid in full from now until the date of the vote, you would get a casting vote.

I am wholly disgusted that the vote was not handed to the ALBO10 and not the Well Trust, they are the true custodians of Motherwell.

And someone sort the John McVeigh is a tit out!

  3. I said a while ago, dont trust the Motherwell board an inch.

They may talk about going with the fans decision but believe me given a free hand they would vote Yes with bells on.

Not sure I would fully agree with that statement. Leeann and co get a bad press, but they are all taking steps to improve the club which should be applauded especailly after our own meltdown and the current recession.

I think every club, if based, purely on financial reasons would vote Yes. However Motherwell listened to the fans (as have other clubs) and put the vote to the Well Society and promised details of the financial situation, which they duly did. Now they have predicted the worst case scenario, which is the only thing they can do and they are getting slated for it?

The meltdown of Rangers has caused a short term lose/lose scenario. Its how we best deal with it. The quality of football will dip, the revenue will fall, but if we get fairer league on and off the park and break the strangle hold that the OF have put on Scottish Football, in the long run, it will be good.

It will be a hard time for us Diddy Teams going forward, but doing the right thing is important and it may help create a wake up call for all involved in our game with long term benefits.

And John McVeigh is a tit!

  4. ok dunces hat for 8 minutes, just stand in the hallway and the door will remain open for you biggrin.gif

and yes it was a good goal cool.gif

Okay, if its 8 minutes and the doors open, maybe let me in the class anyway and I'll sit at the back. You know, I am the most intelligent person in the class and you can't live without me, oh come on, let me in. If you don't I'll beat you up at lunch time and steal your sweets.

  5. I'm getting increasingly fed up at this childish humour, now behave yourselves or you will be attending detention in the big hoose with cockwomble supervisingmad.gif

    ps

    What answer would you like?

Answer A) Yes sir, sorry sir, It won't happen again, I have been very immature and I will accept the criticism and thus accept my punishment.

or Answer SEVCO) A Big boy done it and ran away....... John McVeigh is a tit, John McVeigh is a tit, John McVeigh is a tit, John McVeigh is a tit. Hehehehe. Oh come on, I'll stand in the corner with a dunces hat on for 10 minutes and all will be fine.

And cracking goal from Spain YAY

  6. Nevermind Thursday, it was Aluko + 8 others within 48 hours of this morning :)

Its like farting in a new work place. No one wants to do it first, just in case its frowned upon. But once one lets rip, its open season. Think you'll see more than 9 looking to move on by the middle of the week. Their loyalties must be with family first and to pay the bills, something the guys over on Rangers Media don't get.

Let the John McVeigh is a tit get an airing

  7. All you John McVeigh is a tit posters, I've taken your names and we will not forget who fucked us and when we come back tighter than ever we will take our revenge. A wounded John McVeigh is a tit is an Angry John McVeigh is a tit (or the decorators are in).

    At Last Cockwomble talks sense!

Doncaster conceded that supporters broadly favour expansion of John McVeigh is a tit but argued that the numbers just do not add up.

"We have to acknowledge that the popular vote is for a larger John McVeigh is a tit but you can't just ask the question in isolation," he explained.

"If you put it to them that your club will lose at least £1m [calculations based on loss of TV revenue and fewer fixtures] then it doesn't look very attractive.

"It's imperative that we bring more John McVeigh is a tit in, we get the tightest minges that we can afford and that fans see more exciting John McVeigh is a tit."

But as one poster says, more expensive players do not mean an overall better product (SPL, not club).

  8. Minge

I'm complaining to the mods on this, if they wont take action, I may go to CAS. This is totally unacceptable. I feel bullied. Well just wait until the John McVeigh is a tit is gone, then what will you do? You can't live without John McVeigh is a tit, you think you can, but you'll all shrivel up and die while the John McVeigh is a tit thrives down the lower reaches.

    WATM's

  9. John McVeigh is a tit

    laugh.gif

Seriously, this is not funny. This is some sort of conspiracy. Rules for some and not for others! If this was any other part of the female anatomy they would be voted back in without sanctions! Just because its a Tight M1nge your throwing us out. Your all against us But we are WATM's you'll never keep us down. You'll miss us when were in DIV3 and when we take our rightful place at the head of the table again you'll all be shrivelled up and gone!

  10. a loss of 900k cannot be covered by fans simply buying more tickets and merchandise, i said right at the start that it would cost clubs nearly a million in one fell swoop and there wouldnt be time to recover

The artcile doesn't actually suggest that they may appeal to fans to buy more pies, but may mean they would need to seek further finanicing from Shareholders and fans thorugh ticket pricing, etc. However, all that is given, I don't think anyone would argue that there would be losses throughout without SEVCO in the league. However the statement does not balance out with the income that would be generated form the visits of the replacement club, new TV deal, etc. which right now is unquantifiable.

Of course I have been to lazy to look at the statement in detail so may have missed that, but I think the losses should be less.

Of course, someone had to be a smart ar2e and say 'do these figures include us winning the Champions League'. Don't be so stupid! Of course it doesn't include that. It may include our home and away games in the CL, then the money raised from winning the Europa League!

  11. Motherwell advised by the club that they face a 900k budget deficit for operations next season without Sevco in the league.

Don't want to speculate on the figures without some input from Well supporters who have seen them. Anyone?

Just had a glance at the statement, never read it in any detail. I'm pre-occupied with the inability to write the word m1nge here. I'm quite sure the figures would stack up, but it does not mention the offset of a replacement club coming in, new TV deal, etc, etc. So there is no doubt there would be a loss but I don't believe as much as as the £900+ stated.

On a simialr note amazing to see the press quoting fans websites as sources of information, what a world we live in now.

    Free the m1nge!

  12. Bit behind today, 6 pages to go but I will reply.

Let's all not forget it's just an entertainment. I give thanks to the mighty ex RFC 1873, 1690 WATP FTP for the best closed season ever.

I used to drive taxis, 11 years, never got to the football, you learn fast it's not that big a deal.

I do enjoy it, specially a bus trip for an away game, but I know I can live without it.

Anyways, back to page whatever to catch up.

True, its an entertainment industry and like yourself I have not been attending Scottish football (for over 9 years now) and since being in Asia the past few years, no football at all. I'm being tongue in cheek with my comments. However, this bending over backwards, trying to find solutions probably wouldn't happen anywhere else. Certainly in Italy. Hungary, Czech and Poland that I know of teams, regardless of size have been punished and taken their medicine.

But your comment has validity which shouldn't be forgotten, with or without SERVCO, Scottish Football will continue in some form or another and through time it will prosper again. Just right now the scare mongering of the press and prominent people is crazy and the insanity of the 'We were the people brigade' is comedy gold.

And don't dis the tight John McVeigh is a tit!

<div><br></div><div>And why oh why does the word m*nge change to John McVeigh is a tit? This is a bigger scandel that the whole SEVCO scenario. Free the m*nge!</div>

  13. Maybe you've never seen that ventriloquist of the posh get who used to be on these "Live at Her Majesty's" on Sunday nights around 8pm.....

He gets to stick one of his hands up a dummy's @rse and miraculously, he gains another hand......it truly almost is magic.....

In this example, I think the dummy's called Roland The Fat German.......

    Just a guess, mind.

    Right, wherr are the burdz.......?

    PA

Don't knock Roland the fat German, even if he is the only guy in the world to spend $$$ on Filipinas and not get his hole!

Anyway, back on track. This whole caper was an embarrasment to SERVCO, then to the SPL and now, with SPL clubs starting to listen to the fans, the talk of entry into Div1, its just an embarrasment to Scotland.

My Grandfather was a Third Lanark Fan, but after the death of that great club, he continued supporting Football, apart form when he went to a few Accies games.

  14. I have mixed emotions here.

In one hand, I really regret not living in Scotland right now and miss the chance just to point and laugh whenever I see a SERVCO 5088 fan.

But on the other hand, thank f**k I do not live in Scotland to experience the meltdown of Scottish Football over, what should be a pretty elementary decision if it was for any other club bar SERVCO.

And on the other hand ……

I just wonder how much of the journalism is speculative to keep another declining industry alive and incompetent hacks in a job. Make hay when the sun shines.

We tend to laugh at some of the leagues throughout the world with distain and humour, referencing corruption and unprofessionalism. Right now, we are truly are a joke trying to bend over backwards to save this shower of shite. Would it actually happen anywhere else?

    Entry into the 1st Division?

Unbelievable! If only I could walk outside and find someone to point, stare and laugh at I would be happy, but the misconception that they are a Global Brand and have fans all over the world, in the past 2 years I have yet to meet one in all my travels.
