They're coming for us. OH NOES!!!
I am always tempted to post on every RM thread that "Murray and Whyte should be forgiven for what they did to Rangers". Just to see what happens. I find a slight tension between a club whose fans seem committed to a certain religious leaning which has at its central ethos the power of forgiveness and the "never forgive" poster bot.

Fuel Costs
97 Where do they buy their petrol?
Surely the Orcs can offer to siphon enough so they get their petrol for free?

FAO Mr A McCoist.
Stop greeting about being being punished enough.
This is punishment.
$60 million fine.
All wins in the seasons 1998 - 2011 wiped from the records.
Banned from post season play-offs for 4 years (no cup finals)
Restricted scholarships (unable to entice top talent).
5 years probation.
But at least Penn State don't have to go to Peterhead,

The Leggo blog spotted a problem with Rangers' fans buying tickets: "It also came on a day when Rangers fans who turned up at Ibrox to buy tickets for the game at Brechin on Sunday, discovered Charles Green’s Sevco company was unable to take payments by credit or debit cards." Presumably of more interest to many of them would be whether they could buy season tickets with someone else's credit card.

You are pointing and laughing at the wrong person. Get back to your attic.
Is he going to write a classic?

Wonder if we will ever make it to the golden page:

Prob would have hit the target today if Claymore and Wisbit kept up their pish.
This is the first time I typed in John McVeigh is a tit. Lol, it does work!
I can only assume Wisbit was on a grinding come down and nursing a bottle of vodka. It is the only possible explanation. I have not see "Yawn" as a Reply to an internet thread since the early days of AOL Online.

They really are a source of much merriment here in work. On hearing that they have drawn East Fife at home in the League Cup, my Blue colleague announced that there would only be about 30,000 there " as there isn't as much interest in the diddy cup as there is in the League!!"
Can we all get one of them to adopt for the season.? They would be hugely entertaining and I have heard they can live on scraps.

Why are there all these references to religion, Ireland, flags and the monarchy? These have nothing to do with football. It is sad to say that absent any real developments in the thread it has been hijacked by those of a certain persuasion in the Strathclyde region to perpetuate the types of obsessions and attitudes that give the rest of Scotland and Scottish football a bad name. This thread needs to move to the 3rd division or the Sevco-Celtic thread where it now appears to belong.

http://www.dotheboun...-stripped/ page5
I think Bud62 has, for once, said something that the hardcore "Rangers" fans and the rest of Scottish football can agree on:
"Re: Titles and cups to be stripped
Ive simply had enough it's clear that Rangers and Scotland don't go. This constant barrage of sanctions from small minded people has to stop. It's time to move to a league where we are wanted. My vote is to up sticks and move to the Northern Ireland Football League"0 -
I reckon the call went like this....
BCFC: "Hello, Brechin City football club, how can I help you?"
CG: "Hi, hi, it's Charles Green from Rangers here...."
BCFC :"Sorry, who?"
CG: "Erm, it's Charles Green."
BCFC: "No, sorry, I heard that bit. Who did you say you were from?"
CG: "Rangers."
BCFC: "Nope, sorry, never heard of them..."
CG: "It's Charles. Green. From Sevco Scotland Limited, in Glasgow."
BCFC" "Oh! Sevco... why didn't you say! What can we do for you?"
CG: "Just fcuk off."
CG: "Would you like to make it 9-a-side with no subs"
BCFC: "Why?"
CG: "Because that is all the players we have left".
BCFC: "No"
CG: "We will playing our third choice goalie as left back. Promise"

''or, all f**k off to the sevco/celtic forum with this pish''
^^^^^^^^^^ this though is part of the problem. Wah wah Celtic/Sevco wah wah wah......... When diddies feck off on one, such as the Mirren ones tonight, and the Killie ones a couple of mornings ago it is assumed it is RIGHT.
Well it ain't.
Maybe there should be a needy vvanker forum that folk could suggest non Celtic/Sevco fans could post their pish?
By his witty turn of phrase and pleasant tone, I wonder if this chap is the Professor of English at Glasgow University?

It is actually The Vatican Courtyard believe it or not, and without the Vatican itself there would be no St Andrew Cross, St George Cross, St Patrick Cross ... in other words no Union Flag / Union Jack Flag. Ironic!?
Next time we will need to use a special sarcasm font so some people do not embarrass themselves by posting like this.

Could the Celtic and "Rangers" fans who wish to spout petty minded sectarian bile please go to their dedicated hate thread, which we all know was set up so none of the rest of us had to see what was in it.
If you judge someone by their religion then you are a neanderthal. The poison of sectarianism is a good reason why losing half of the Old Firm would have been 50% of the way to a better Scotland.

I liked the Daily Record's propaganda report of the Airdrie game. Why did they not publish a team list for who played for Airdrie? Was it because they only put their kids and trainees out?

One of the results I had hoped for in this whole mess was that:
- They would have to change their name
- They would need a new logo
- They would need a new strip
However, can't help feeling (call it the cynic in me) that come the 28th they will run out as Rangers, have the same crest, and use the same strip JJB are selling at the moment.
I agree:
1. Nothing with the name "Rangers"
2. A new badge that is not similar to the RFC.
3. They can where whatever strip they like as long as there are no stars on it.

This is one of the funniest things I have read for a while. If anyone, anywhere, starts to feel sorry for them direct that person to this link.

What about the titles won during war years ?
Anyway, I'm still struggling to understand how an administrative rule can equal cheating and result in titles being stripped ?
Why are we talking about a Div 3 team with no history in the SPL thread?

When is this thread going to move to the SFL3 Forum?

Can we get some assurances that Newco will have suitably distinctive name from Rangers? Personally I think any name with the word "Rangers" in it will be confusing and will ultimately lead to this new club being confused with the old defunct club. I have seen already fans and media being confused into thinking this new club has some history and has many titles to its name.

Why are there all the stars on the gear of a club with no history and who haven't won a competitive match, let alone a trophy?

So what if the clubs have to spend less on wages? Will that make much difference to what we see on the pitch? Probably not. The SPL and all the fancy contracts are all geared towards helping the Old Firm building squads which can challenge in Europe. And as a supporter of a team that is not a member of the Old Firm, their European campaigns are of only mild interest to me. So OK Celtic might not be able to afford a new Japanese midfielder or a Croatian left back, the Newco will not be able to eventually buy up and coming Scottish talent from Hibs and Hearts and Kilmarnock for £2m and then leave them rotting on the bench. Tell me what I am to miss about that?

I am looking forward to those "Rangers" shirts with no stars on them.

Dundee had to be a "Yes" which is why they were suddenly "ordered" to vote despite the "conflict of interest".
Regan "You are conflicted and can't vote"
Dundee "OK"
Days later
Regan "What would you vote, if you did vote?"
Dundee "Yes to Newco in Div 1"
Regan "Conflict of interest? What conflict of interest? There is no conflict of interest if you agree with me"

Now Newco are in the League, why not charge them with bringing the game into disrepute for making that announcement about SPL 2 on their website?

There is not a column in the league table for how nice your team are. If they train, turn up and put their best in, I don't care what they are like as people. Sponsors might. But unless sponsors are affected I really don't care.
