Apart from death and taxes the one sure thing in life is that Motherwell will be be cheating time wasting c***s.
The sooner they disappear like morton the better.
Surely the spl can find a better source for refs than the clown school

Given Mackenzie can’t seem to stay fit - this would seem to leave Scales and Hayes as the options out there - neither of which is ideal.
Maybe need another loan to cover us til Xmas if Coulson is out for a considerable period of time. Can we not recall Hancock from Arbroath

Hopefully Zurich actually beat Linfield because the thought of another embarrassing result against a diddy Irish side is too much to take.
Linfield would a battle of the sevco tribute acts

Struggled a bit in the first game at Peterhead.
Goodwin stuck with him though and it's fair to say we like what we saw in the other three matches. Definitely the right thing to loan him out to play regular football at a good level under the tutelage of Dick C though.
Would have left it till Monday though as scales can't play on sunday

Better to play 4 games in a league cup group rather than 36 in the championship as hearts regularly do

Now were on the subject, is the Cup Winners Cup considered a major? Starting to question the entire thing tbh. Shameful from AFC.
Merged with the uefa cup to form the europa league.
The way uefa ruined 3 good tournaments for the boring greed is good champions league is shameful.

Never has a star on a kit boiled so much piss. Delightful.
Fans of non old firm teams can play this down as they know there isn't a hope in hell of having to backtrack if their team qualified for it

Its about time we discussed this nonsensical second star on Aberdeen's crest. The second star for an invitational friendly is stolen valour.
You are not invited to compete for the super cup you qualify to play in it.
Hope you get pumped in the play off

As shite as Aberdeen are, the decision by a clearly out of his depth referee to not send off the Livi keeper & award Aberdeen a penalty when he smashed Besuijen in the face, beggared belief.
To make it worse, he booked Besuijen.
Incredible. Baffling. Inept. Only in Scotland.
The clown also thought a 2 footed tackle only merits a throw in

aye right enough..are you old enough to remember that season where you finished bottom and stayed up on a technicality ....its not the 80s anymore you are also classed as a diddy club
No matter how much times a lie is repeated it doesn't suddenly become the truth.
Brockville being a death trap saved Aberdeen the inconvenience of a 3 way play off not relegation

Never a penalty. Hearts have been brilliant. Aberdeen typically shite.
Thoughts and prayers with @Leith Greenthough. He’s definitely watching the match.
The home team generally does better in this fixture, hearts deserved their win tonight but are one of the poorest teams to visit Pittodrie this season

It’s a pretty shite trophy. No European slot and diminished prestige. I wouldn’t swap one of the Scottish Cups I’ve seen is win to have lifted it.
I have seen Aberdeen win and lose both Scottish and league cup finals, the elation at winning and the disappointment at losing is the same.
The league cup is not a diddy cup just because your diddy team hasn't won it in 60 years

More what? Not Scottish Cups. You have one since Fergie left.
We have three.
Like many jambos you seem to regard the Scottish cup as the Holy grail as its the only major trophy you have seen your team win.
In reality winning the league cup is just the same, the same group of teams playing for a different piece of silverware.
Winning the league or lifting European trophies is way above both domestic cup

“Since 1960”… nothing even slightly selective about that.
Aberdeen have been utter garbage for the vast majority of their existence.
It doesn’t matter how you try and dress it all up, AFC are a shit wee club who fluked a great manager and skewed their history and achievements off the back of it.
The rest of Aberdeen’s history is that of a silly wee club with a future of 10k home crowds max.
You had your chance after years of being utter garbage. You win a league cup. We move on… good luck.
I’ve seen Hearts win the Scottish Cup three times, and finish second once in the selective period you cite. I’ve also seen us compete in the group stages of the UEFA Cup, and finish third back to back seasons.
Aberdeen should have been relegated at least once in that time.
Aberdeen are really quite tragic, and their desperate attempts to suck up to Hibs make them even funnier.
Aberdeen won 10 of their 19 honours during the fergie era and 9 outwith.
Hertz won 7 of their 16 during the terrible trio era again leaving 9 outwith.
So if Aberdeen have been crap most of their existence them Hertz have been worse as they had 30 extra seasons to amass their total.
I will be 60 this year and during that time the Don's have won 16 trophies to Hertz 4.
Hertz good in the 50s irrelevant ever since

I can see Goodwin going to a club like Hearts who are a monster in size club wise and fan base wise compared to the likes Of Aberdeen.
Less trophies and multiple relegations suggest otherwise

Sevco are a vile club which should have never been allowed to replace the original and equally vile rangers

Enjoyable game in atrocious condition.
Fair play they contributed more than some teams who have left Pittodrie with a point or 3

Quite similar, old timer.
1969/70 - first Cup Final, and first ever visit to Glasgow, beating all-conquering Celtic 3-1.
1970/71 - attended every league and cup match apart from Kilmarnock away when I was at the Leuchars Air Show. Took Celtic to the second last match of the season before knowing we wouldn’t win the league.
1979/80 - horrendous League Cup Final Replay hammering by Dundee United at rain soaked Dens obliterated from the memory by the first League title in my lifetime. The afternoon in the sunshine at Easter Road will never, ever be forgotten.
1982/83 - Aberdeen winning a major European trophy was simply ridiculous. To do it by beating, and from the start of the second half onwards, playing Real Madrid off the park, was stunning.
2013/14 - to have put my two kids through utter hell for almost 20 years by forcing them to stay to the end of total tankings by Celtic, Rangers, Dundee United, and even Livingston, was more than made up for by being with them at Parkred when Adam Rooney smashed his penalty home. Total joy.
That 70-71 team was brilliant, far better than turnbulls hibs team

Worth mentioning the only 20/21 top half sides you've faced so far are us and Livingston. No real point looking at the table until after the first round of fixtures at least tbh.
Aberdeen were poor today but so were we, squad depth made the difference and its mental its us who had the depth. You look at Aberdeens bench and theres just nothing there apart from Hayes/McGinn who seem to have lost it a bit, while we're bringing on Finnish U21 Internationals as our 5th choice attacking option.
We brought on a current scotland defender,ok your goal was partly his fault but it still makes your point moot.
For 1 reason or another players like mcgeough and watkins (who would both walk into your team)weren't even stripped today

Hotshot Hamish mind him well . .
So the lad from Wolves . It’s early days with Glass and Russel but already
signs there they improve players, maybe this lad is one they think can step it up. .As for this lads loan moves some work out some don’t .
Mckenna at Ayr is good example .. Liking the lad has pace which we sadly lack . Might be great option for late in games.
I am sure that other signings will arrive .But it’s all about Thursday and that’s going to dictate more exciting moves .
Ferguson is another.
Regards Ruth not getting chance. I’ve seen him play quite few times and nae been impressed . Just nothing in his play stood out.
But it’s early days and not seen enough him and he could indeed make the step up. Can see him going out loan again though .
Centre half is where we badly need the depth .
What about a cheeky bid for halkett at hearts.I know he hasnt exactly been brilliant at hearts but a proven partnership with gala her

Chat seems to be that the release clause applies only for foreign clubs.
Probably was inserted to stop Lennon taking him to Celtic for pennies and sticking him on the bench tbf.
Got to respect the absolute patter of that offer tbf, more teams should do it and just noise eachother up.
Hope we return with £1m + Lewis Ferguson.
The only difference being Ferguson wouldnt want to go to hibs whilst boyle is a lifelong dandy.
Atlanta to invoke his clause and then immediately swap him for hernandez
