Tbf that’s how I used to run when I first started running being young and a decent weight meant I never really had injuries. I’ve defo improved as a runner though since I’ve incorporated easy runs and dedicated speed workouts etc

Might do a easy run today and see if i can keep it easy 😀

Slow (or easy) runs are what I struggled with to begin with too. Once you get the rhythm it’s a piece of piss

My Openruns have been superb, I’m a sweaty betty when doing any form of exercise and they’ve stood up well whereas other cheap headphones I’ve had have ended up gubbed

I know it's against what you are supposed to do but i have never done a easy/slow run, i might just go for a cycle or a swim as i can never get my heart rate very high doing them.

Nice wee parkrun today with the added bonus of it not blowing a hoolie for a change.

We've sacked 2 managers in 24 years, plenty of our fans seem to have looked at this season and gone "yeah, he's done enough to get the summer", and now we're being told "stop complaining, he's going nowhere, so just accept it and get on board".

We're watching the club commit completely avoidable self harm, which some of the older amongst us have seen before, but we're apparently not supposed to mention it, because there's no point.

So can it be changed?  If McIntyre loses 4 of the first 5 league games next season, will the board sack him?  How about if he loses 8 of the first 10?  In both cases, I highly doubt it.  Our club is seriously sack averse.  Especially if they see the support happily clapping along to the shiny new signings. McIntyre will only go if he chooses to resign.

You're just being ridiculous now. If we have a crap start to the season McIntyre will be punted. The notion that any manager here can stay as long as they want regardless of how they are doing is laughable tbh

Start of next season won't be important either, as we'll all be counting down to when McIntyre leaves.  Then caretaker matches can't be judged fairly.  Then we need to give any new manager time, so we can't judge his first few games.  Then its too early to judge as the manager hasn't had the summer to get his own players in, and we'll be back to dead rubbers as we head down to league 2.

Judging time starts in the league cup and the league when it starts next season. Simple.

I had a van tailgating me yesterday for around 1/4 of a mile before I reached home. I was delighted to drop 5mph to irritate the c**t and when I noticed oncoming traffic where I turn right, I stopped where it wasn't possible for him to go round me on the left. Pleasing.

Can see why you did that at the junction in that case but in general when a car stops at a  junction with plenty room for another car to go inside it to turn left but they just plonk their car in the middle of the lane so you can't go to their left can indeed be very irritating while you wait when you could've been out and away.

Appreciate the old war horses cannae carry on for ever but to largely kick them to the kerb - en masse it seems - doesn’t sit well.

JM said Gats dropped for letting a few in…multiply by a big number for Boruc yet now he is undroppable..🤷‍♂️

The board for me want all of us to now weesht and leave them be.

JM (and the board?) clearly had written this season off some time ago ergo the JM comments midweek.

Duncan Ferguson was incorrect in his assessment ..its the manager that has chucked it not the players….at least JM has a job next season more than a lot of the players have

Did you mention any of this at the meeting?

I take it this must be your first time having a manager that has previously created such a toxic culture that fan volunteers - some that have been helping the club for decades - have no longer wanted to be part of your club.  The first time you've had a manager that manages to piss off the core of decent players that you have to the point they no longer have any positive feelings for the club after they've been ostracised. The first manager that replaces hard working, limited ability players that will give 100% for spineless shitebags that don't care about anything other than themselves and actively don't try.

As I said at the time, I'm not bitter, I just stated the fact that McIntyre is not only a terrible manager but someone that can take any good feeling left out of a football club in a very short period of time. I warned you and you bleated that I was just being bitter yet the exact same thing is happening here.

    No, definitely not bitter.....
