Probably due to the fact it’s the most money you have spent on player’s wages for an age? I would honestly be shocked if if Raith’s wage expenditure isn’t the 2nd highest in the league.

You talking garbage. Why did we let Ethan Ross go out on loan, spencer left, Jamie Mcdonald left, Christophe Berra left. We spunked far far more last season. Our crowds for this season are near to 1000 a game up on last year. Just stick to your own clubs issues 👍

    Yup, all this.

I doubt very much that there's any team out there that doesn't want to find, develop and sell for a profit young talent; the difference, (or the USP) for QP is that this is the primary, (sole?) aim - any promotion/cup run etc will just be a bonus.

The sale of Simon Murray both a) confirmed the system could work and b) got the club out of a Lesser shaped hole when it came to the potential promotion, (one that staying in the Championship means we've still got a foot in).  It's why I personally think that whilst in the halls of power, there may be some external public display of contrition, internally there won't be too much gnashing of teeth should we be demoted this year.  It's also the reason we'll stick with RV and also the reason he'll not be finding too many new faces walking through the door in January.

I'm sorry Simon Murray ain't a youngster, he was a decent player on a bloody good wage. That deffo isn't the definitive of finding a youngster.

There is no way Inverness should have been out of sight. Two of the three Dabrowski saves were more or less at him. The one he scampered across to save low at the far post represented their best effort. Second half we domintated the play.

In terms of actual play, Airdrie passed and moved far better than ICT and more importantly, better than we did. We were passive all over the pitch today. I'm not saying we didnt make a few chances - but the best, like last season was a fairly low xG that nearly caught Airdrie out - and really, we could still be there not scoring.

Today was likely a tight game on chances, but in terms of overall play? We were miles off of it. Both in terms of individual effort where the likes of Brown were uncharacteristically passive and didnt come close to winning a second ball, and in terms of set up where again we became too narrow up top and offered little in the way of an outball when turning over possession.

I'm sorry last week we scored with about our only shot on goal. Very similar to today's huff and puff performance.

Yeah it appears some people are fooled by Charlie Fox doing the thing every defender does of continuing to run back as the foul takes place and also after the ref has given the free kick so he looks like he is well back and covering when the reality is without the foul he would have been nowhere near catching Hamilton.

The picture from when the foul took place to when the ref arrived on the scene is very different but thankfully he was switched on enough to come to the correct decision. The first picture is after Hamilton has went down and the whistle has been blown and it looks like Fox is covering (still wide and quite far from the ball mind you). Second photo shows the actual foul taking place and Fox is barely in the picture he wasn’t getting back to cover.

You could make the argument about the distance to goal but given it is a completely free run with no defenders it’s a pretty clear cut goal scoring opportunity to me and the ref and subsequent appeals panel clearly agree.

There is not a chance that left back is getting ant where near the forward.

    1. Direct free kick
A direct free kick is awarded if a player commits any of the following
offences against an opponent in a manner considered by the referee to be
careless, reckless or using excessive force:
    • charges
    • jumps at
    • kicks or attempts to kick
    • pushes
    • strikes or attempts to strike (including head-butt)
    • tackles or challenges
    • trips or attempts to trip
If an offence involves contact, it is penalised by a direct free kick.

There's your laws of the game, tell me which of these things Jamie Allan did to commit a foul?

There's a handy gif I made just for you so you can see it for yourself, you don't have to thank me, the knowledge that I'm helping the less fortunate is all the thanks I need.

Just catching up with everything, went through the highlights, the phantom goal looked very genuine all our players were claiming for it and the direction Morton players were looking suggested they thought it was in too, very disappointed in Lewis get it stopped, Dabrowski may have saved the first goal but it was a terrific header, their 2nd goal defenders going to sleep, Smith's winning goal was outstanding composure, and did that useless Referee even see the cynical foul on our player running down the middle in support

All in all a good 3 points, but must do a bit better in defending as that's 8 conceded in the last 4 games

On the flip side, unbeaten in 90 minutes in all competitive matches.

I certainly prefer the commentary on the Raith TV highlights. If I was being picky, I’d probably prefer them to do a summary commentary like Scotsport etc used to do for the shortened reels where they would explain what was about to take place. That’s more work for the guys though so wouldn’t expect it.

The fact the Raith TV team had two interviews to make, clip and post before the match highlights went up, for me it would be pushing it to have match highlights up for midnight with additional commentary. Let them enjoy the aftermatch a bit and not have volunteers slogging in from of a computer ona Saturday night 👍👍

I find it interesting that people are questioning “Big Kev”, when I see a younger player (25, young for a keeper) who is still learning, and is going to get better all season with IM, Watson and Robbie all imparting wisdom weekly. He was critical to our advancing in the Cup and now he’s a liability? He has the tools, let’s watch him grow as he learns his trade with us.

Whist I agree that Kev is young and has a lot he can learn. The fact his main issue Is he is not commanding his area. The big issue for me us the goalkeeping Coach shall we say it was even worse at commanding his area. We all loved Scott Thomson but he was nicknamed Dracula for a reason. I don't see Robbie as any different. If he can't do it himself how is he going to teach it to others.

Good skills Rovers! Got the win in the end.

I'm sorry but that was utter pish. We should have qualified from this group without having to worry about Dundee tommorow. Conceded goals today are criminal. Players in the last few minutes wandering of the park at walking pace. Dues the idiot of a manger not know we really needed a couple of more goals.

Annan's stream is starting to on my tits now, and if their 'commentator' says "that's a free kick referee" one more time I may well smash my computer monitor 🤣

A wee tip for you, a volume control or a mute button. To be fair it just sounds like a fan in the stand shouting random shite as opposed to commentary.
